The cotton fist is a northern Chinese martial arts style which most likely originated in the province of Hebei. Mian Quan is known as cotton or continuous fist. It is based on dynamic and free-flowing movement. It generates explosive power and incredible body conditioning techniques, that make it an extremely effective martial art and self-defense system. Mian Quan requires balanced posture, with the majority of the body relaxed and a short-range attack span.
