It wraps itself around any lost or frightened creature it finds in it’s territory. It’s warm embrace imparts a feeling of comfort and security. This is it’s toxic fur going to work, once the embraced creature is completely at ease the Cuddlepede will begin slowly devouring it whole.
A/N: Been a while since I’ve written anything, but slowly I’m trying to get back into it :) I feel rusty and unsure, which is just me getting too in my own head. I am quite proud of the title though, and glad I could finally sit down and write something. This is also the longest fic I’ve ever written, which is scary. I never thought I’d be able to write anything more than 500 words, and now I’ve reached 2k!!!l I hope you like it loves! Feedback is always appreciated 💜💖💜
Summary: Never thought you and Tommy would end up like this 💕
The reader is Hux’s soulmate but he’s not yours. This was supposed to take 15 minutes and I’ve been here for over 2 hours. There’s not gonna be a part 2 so I hope you enjoy what I got!
The two of you were inseparable.
Ever since Hux had known you he rarely saw one of you without the
other, you and Ren. Outwardly you were both professionals. The disciplined disciples.
But Hux knew what you really were. He saw the stolen the glances, the way your
hands brushed when you walked together, the shift in tone when you addressed
each other. Everyone else was too stupid, oblivious, or terrified to notice.
But not Hux. He knew. And his insides ached because of it.
He wanted nothing more than to be the reason you snuck out of your
quarters at night. To be on the receiving end of your rare smiles. But the most
he ever got from you was the occasional General.
His greatest achievement was the single time he made you laugh. He had made
some off handed comment about an incompetent captain and was rewarded with your
He hadn’t gotten a chance to hear it since.
The bridge doors opened behind him and he turned to see you
approaching. You stopped beside him, glancing at the few workers that were left
behind the monitors.
“Anything to report General?”
“Nothing of significance. We are still on course and making
expected progress. We should be planetside within the week.” You nodded.
“Excellent. Inform me of any changes.”
“Of course.” You turned and exited the bridge, leaving Hux with a
flushed face and erratic heartbeat.
It was finally time for Hux to turn in for the night. He walked
steadily to his quarters, his footsteps echoing off the waxed floors. Everyone
he passed avoided his gaze but he rarely noticed anymore. His thoughts were always
elsewhere, anyways. He hadn’t time to worry about the thoughts of inferior passersby.
He turned the final corner on his destination and froze in his
tracks. Down the hall he saw you clinging to Kylo, your fists were clutching at
the fabric of his tunic. One of his gloved hands held your hair as he laid
heated kisses against your lips. He led you forward into his quarters and you both disappeared
Hux stood unmoving. He clenched his fists as he felt the heat rise
throughout his body. The ache of jealously overwhelming. His head pounded as he
stomped down the hall to his own room. He walked quickly past Kylo’s room,
afraid of what he might hear. Once he was in the privacy of his own room he
threw himself in his armchair. He ran his hands down his face trying to regain
has to be done¸ he thought to himself after some time of contemplation.
has to be done.
It all happened in a blur. One moment it was just you and Kylo, intertwined
and breathless. The next the room was filled with stormtroopers.
You and Kylo were on your feet before the doors had even opened.
First three came in, blasters drawn, but you dispensed of them easily enough. A
handful more followed and you were halfway through dealing with them when an
electrified weapon hit you in the rib. Your whole body tensed and you fell to
your knees gasping.
You heard Kylo call your name but everything in front of you was
spinning. You felt the pain in your side again and your vison went black. Your sight
came back in what felt like an instant but you now found yourself restrained
and being escorted through the back halls of the ship. Someone had covered you
with the black fabric of Kylo’s cape and you looked up to find glistening red
Knights of Ren.
One held each of your arms as they dragged you to your destination,
your knees skidding across the floor. You looked around at the halls and
quickly realized where you were being taken. Your heart rate quickened and you could
hear your blood rushing in your ears. Part of you didn’t want to reach your destination.
The other part wanted you to be there already and just to get it over with. You
looked to your right and saw Kylo in the same position as you. He looked at you
with eyes so sorrowful you had to turn away…
The wide doors to the throne room parted and you and Kylo were
thrown in the center. This room had always been intimidating but in your
current situation it was unbearable. The harsh red light irritated your eyes
but you didn’t dare look up.
“To say I’m disappointed does not even begin to cover it.” Snoke’s
voice echoed ominously in the vast room.
“Supreme Leader we-“
“Silence!” he bellowed, cutting Kylo off before he could start. “I
don’t want to hear excuses.”
You heard him approaching but you didn’t raise your head. You
stayed on your knees, gaze locked on the floor. Out of the corner of your eye
his feet came into view.
“There aren’t going to be any words today. No warnings. No
lectures. You both disobeyed me in the most insulting way possible. No…there’s just
going to be punishment. Harsh punishment you haven’t felt since the early days
of your training.”
Your throat tightened at the memory of those early days. Your
hands unwillingly began shaking and your vision began to blur.
“But Supreme Leader I-“ a crack resonated through the air. You let
out a small cry as you felt the pain as Snoke struck Kylo. Snoke looked at you
in a moment of confusion before realization set in. A look of fear flashed
across his face for an instant before it was replaced with a devious grin.
“How interesting…” He turned to you and grabbed a fistful of your
hair and violently yanked it. Kylo grunted at the sensation. Snoke let out a
chuckle before grabbing your chin and raising your eyes to look at him. “This
is going to make your punishment very entertaining.”
After that night Hux didn’t see you or Kylo for 6 days. Snoke had
simply told him you were both occupied and instructed him to go about his duties.
He knew there was something else going on but he couldn’t imagine what. There
was no way to get any information about the situation so he kept his nose down
and waited for you to show up.
He only learned about your return from Phasma when she relayed to him
her new orders that originated from you. It was difficult for him to
concentrate throughout the rest of his shift. His mind kept wandering to you.
He contemplated all the possible scenarios that had caused your absence but he
couldn’t think of any. Well, he thought of one. But no one else knew of your
secret affair so it couldn’t have been that.
When his shift was finally over he found himself wandering to your
quarters. He kept trying to think of what excuse he was going to use to talk to
you. You two weren’t exactly friends so he couldn’t just stroll in for a late
night conversation. He still hadn’t thought of an excuse when he reached your
door. He simply stood staring at it, pondering what he could possibly say to
It felt like he’d been standing around for hours before he finally
decided he’d make it up as he went. He raised his hand to knock when the door
suddenly slid open.
He looked ahead and saw you sitting on the floor, gazing out your immense
“You’d been standing there for so long I didn’t think you were
ever going to come in.”
He cleared his throat and lowered his hand.
“I was deciding whether it was best to disturb you or not.”
“You were deciding on what excuse to use.” Your eyes didn’t turn
away from the window. He took a step inside and the door closed behind him. He
was almost to you when your head whipped around to him. “Was it you?” your
voice was soft but it didn’t hide the scorn behind it. He was caught off guard
and didn’t respond right away. “Answer me.”
“Was what me?” he
stammered. Your eyes were watery but he could see the anger burning within
“Were you the one that told Snoke?”
“What are you taking about?” he asked confused.
“I know you know. About me and Kylo. You don’t have to deny it.”
“I-…yes I know,” he admitted.
“You’ve known the whole time,” you said. “You’re not like the
others, you’re smart. You’re not scared. I’ve always respected you for it.” His
chest swelled with pride at your words.
“I appreciate that,” he responded. You turned your attention back
“So was it you?”
“No. I would never.”
“Never is strong word for how devoted and loyal you are.” You
turned toward him and extended your hand. “Come here.”
He stepped forward and took your hand. It gave him a strange
sensation in his stomach he was unfamiliar with. You pulled him to his knees
and turned to face him. Your face was covered in bruises and scratches that
extended down your neck. The upper half of your body was covered only with a
small blanket, leaving part of your shoulders and chest visible. He felt his
face warm at the observation but concern quickly followed when he saw the areas
were too covered with injuries. You ignored his wandering eyes and brought your
hand to his face. You stared into his eyes and he stared back, savoring the
moment. All too soon you pulled away. You looked away from him back to the
“No, it wasn’t you. You do possess true loyalty, just not to the
one I thought.” He should have been insulted at the fact you’d roamed his mind,
but he had too many questions to worry about that now.
“What happened to you?”
“Someone informed Snoke about our situation. And we were reminded
of what happens when we stray from the order of things.”
“Snoke isn’t done with him yet.”
Your muscles tensed suddenly. Hux looked to you and saw blood
trickling from your back. He grabbed a nearby rag and moved closer.
“May I?” You glanced at him briefly before letting the blanket fall
some down your back. There was a fresh gash on your right shoulder amid others
that were already scarring over. He pressed the rag against the wound when he
felt you tense again as a new gash suddenly appeared down your spine. He pulled
back and looked at you confused.
“Like I said. Snoke isn’t done with Kylo.” He sat in bewilderment.
“Force linked,” you responded. “I feel everything that happens to
him and he feels everything that happens to me.”
Hux’s world came crashing down around him. All of his aspirations that
involved you were pointless. Every shred of hope he had concerning you was gone
in an instant.
His thoughts started spiraling and he stood suddenly. He couldn’t bear
another second alongside you.
“I-I don’t know what to say…”
“I’m sorry Hux. I saw your thoughts of me. I know what you wanted
and I apologize that I cannot give it to you.” Your dry tone didn’t match the consoling
words you spoke. He turned on his heel and went for the door but you stopped
him just as he reached it.
“This information stays between us Hux. Every bit of it. You know
what happens to those that disobey me.”
“Of course, (l/n). I will be in my quarters if you require
anything of me.”
He left your room and walked down the empty halls. He thought he’d
felt pain before nothing matched this emptiness….this…disappointment.
apparently ppl don’t know about waifu2x??? despite its… concerning name it’s literally the most convenient website i’ve ever come across as an artist
it allows you to resize artwork without it becoming pixellated. this is a MASSIVE help if you, for example, make lineart too small or something. it works best with things that 1. have no textures 2. have smooth lines 3. have cel shading, but it still works really damn well for things that don’t fit that profile
here’s an example:
2x in paint
2x in waifu2x
so like, there’s that. go wild
It’s legit!! Tell your friends!
waifu2x-multi is the newer version. It allows for rescaling multiple pictures at a time and to scale them up to 10x the original size.
Hey! Can you write a Kylo x Reader story using prompt 1? Maybe the reader is a resistance member being questioned by Kylo and he discovers she's Force sensitive during the interrogation?
Thanks for the requests! Also sorry if you wanted this Annon. I’m still working with mobile. I have a couple more requests I still gotta work on. Please be patient with me. This is written by me and full of mistakes, please be kind :)
The jungle seemed to stir with the quiet movements of the creatures surrounding your resistance encampment. It was the second time you had felt the energy shift around you, but this time no one could tell you that you had been imagining things. The quiet scatter of paws grew and faded into the distance, they were all leaving. You sat at the foot of a bed inside the med tent when the sudden boom of a ship broke through the atmosphere. You looked around for the droid that had been assisting you all morning, only to find him gone. The sound of the spacecraft put everyone on edge; this week you had narrowly avoided the first order several times and no one was ready for another battle. Quiet moans filled your mind as the injured sat up from their stretchers. Could everyone else hear it too? The wind outside picked up as you stood to peek through your tent. The clouds in the sky began to disperse as a ship flew past the trees. An uneasy feeling crept up in your chest as a second ship flew past you. How many transport ships were coming? Your stomach dropped as another ship entered the atmosphere. This one was not like the others, it was dark and quick, and despite it being so far away, you could see the large red glow in the cockpit between its wings. The angular shape barreled thru the sky faster than the others, landing only a few meters from your encampment. Your eyes widened when the sound of a hundred marching feet bustled through the ground.
“It’s the First order!” you shouted before running back towards your personal station. The whole tent became alive around you. People ran and pushed past each other to flee from the incoming attack. Screams erupted outside as the sound of blasters cut through the air. They were quick, too quick for the injured. You picked up a bag and began shoving medical supplies as the commotion got closer. One blast hit so close that it sent several people flying. You had to move now. The smell of smoke began to fill the tent as the crackle of fire rang in your ears. You picked up a poor soul who’d been stuck underneath the rubble of a tree during the blast. Together you limped out of the tent into the chaos outside. The scene was grim; you glued your eyes to the ground as you passed a sea of bodies discarded on the ground. You couldn’t bear to see all the carnage in front of you. These people were merciless.
“Come on pal” you grunted as you pushed your comrade away from the fight. From the scene unfolding behind you, you felt a pair of eyes on you. A shiver crawled up your spine as you looked around to see where the feeling was coming from. Your eyes darted across the jungle until they settled on the Dark ship across the encampment. It was nothing like the TIE fighters you’d seen before, in fact this one was completely different from any ship you’d ever laid your eyes on. It stood menacingly on top of the hill while the storm troopers began to huddle small groups of resistance member’s together.
“That’s the commander’s ship,” Your comrade said, his voice was laced with fear and you could see the panic in his eyes.
“Now, now” you said trying to sound calm. “What would Kylo Ren be doing all the way out here?” Your words betrayed your confidence, as you realized the heavy tight feeling from your chest was completely linked to that ship. You moved forward, wanting to get as much distance as you could from the mayhem that surrounded you. Your chest grew tighter as the cries of your fellow resistance members clouded your senses. Once your arms were about to give out, you stopped to rest by a tree for a second. Catching your breath, you looked back behind you just as the ship sputtered and hissed open. A dark clothed figure made its way down the entrance ramp. He looked around, taking in the scene unfolding before him until his eyes seemed to settle on you. You cursed under your breath. You were all done for.
“Let’s go!” You urged as you pulled forward as fast as your legs could carry you. Nevertheless, it was no use, without a warning your body was pulled back into the frenzy. You clawed out trying to catch something, fighting against the pull of energy that was carrying you through the jungle. You hit the ground with a loud thud, only inches away from a pair of black boots. You coughed out dirt from your lungs trying to stand but you felt a heavy pressure pushing you into the ground. You looked up to see him crouching above you, his head crooked to the side as he examined you.
“So you’re the one I’ve heard so much about.” He sounded disappointed. You stared back utterly confused. Out of all the people in the galaxy, how’d you manage to get into this mess? What could he possibly want from you? It wasn’t long before your question was answered.
“Where’s the droid?” He asked as you writhed beneath him. You could not speak; your throat was all but sealed underneath the invisible pressure.
“He was with you this morning,” he continued. Two stormtroopers approached him, cutting your interrogation short. The pressure lifted from your body and you clutched at your throat, trying to bring in as much air as you could to your lungs. They stepped back as he flung his head around to meet them.
“Speak,” he ordered.
“We were unable to acquire the droid sir,” one informed him. A growl boomed beneath his mask and he began looking around. A sudden hum came alive beside you as he ignited his light saber. You kept your head down as he began swinging it around. The glowing red weapon as so close you could feel the heat through your whole body. He took a step back, slashing at the jungle around him in anger. The storm troopers took several steps back as he cut away at anything in his path. After a moment, he looked back at the pair.
“Anything else?” He muttered under his mask.
“Put this one on board,” he said pointing down at you. In an instant, you found two pair of hands gripping your arms and carrying you towards the ship. With the little strength you’d managed to regain, you pulled away from them. You kicked and push away, nearly getting one to drop you before you reached the ship.
“That’s enough” said the commander and placed a gloved hand on your head. With that, you were knocked out into darkness.
When you came to, you found yourself strapped on a large metal stretcher. You took the room in. It was small and dim except for the large lamp that hung above you. Your eyes hurt trying to adjust to the light, but when you finally gained focus, a dark masked figure stood looming over you.
“I had no idea we had the best medic in the resistance on board.” His tone was sarcastic and cold “Comfortable?”
“No” you spat as you tugged at your restraints.
“Shame” he said dismissively
“Where am I? What do you want?” Your questions escaped you without a thought, talking was the only way you’d keep your sanity.
“The droid” he said, “Where is it?”
You shook your head. You genuinely had no idea where that blasted droid had gone or where he could be. Either way you could not tell him anything. The lives of thousands of people were on the line. You dropped your gaze to the ground, trying to clear you mind, focusing on your breathing.
“Suddenly out of words I see” He took a step closer to you, reaching his hand toward your head but not touching you.
Let us see what we have here
The words echoed in your mind and you shot your head up to meet him. His brow furrowed at the sudden realization that you’d heard him.
Can you hear my thoughts?
“Yes” you said aloud. There was no point in hiding anyway, he’d already known. He took his hand back and stared at you for a moment
“Tell me where the droid is,” he said
“No” you countered. “You won’t get anything from me”
“We’ll see” He lifted his hand toward you again before finishing his sentence. His face was set into a scowl as he concentrated on you. A strange sensation washed over you. It was as if he was opening you from the inside and combing through your mind. It was awful.
“Stop” you pleaded. The feeling only intensified and your body tightened at the discomfort.
“Get out of my mind!” You yelled. A sudden blast of courage hit you and you pushed against the feeling in your head.
“How did-” He stared at you dumbfounded. There was no way you had just deflected him.
He stepped forward with even more determination as before. His countenance betrayed him; you could see frustration plastered on his face as the feeling in your mind faded. As you fought against him, a mix of memories and thoughts flooded into your mind. A gasp escaped you as you realized whom they belonged to. Could you actually be inside his mind?
“No!” he growled beside you. He saw what you saw. He was so sad and angry, but most of all he was afraid. He dropped his hand and took several steps away from you. You both stared at each other in shock. How were you able to do that?
“Who are you?” He wondered before turning his back to you to leave. You called out after him hoping you could talk yourself into freedom. Nevertheless, he just disappeared into the corridor and the door closed behind him leaving you in the darkness.
both the housemate and i are insanely broke this month for a host of reasons so i thought i’d test the water a little re: commissions, mostly to take as much of the strain off of her as i can. would anyone be interested in quick ko-fi things like these for like $15?
i’ll make an actual post later probably maybe. if i can con myself into it.
ta, fuck it. in lieu of making an actual post, my ko-fi is here, hmu in dm if you’d like me to draw you a THING.
visual references appreciated but i can def work off of text descriptions if that’s what you’re more comfortable with.
when two characters are sitting side by side, one feeling down on themselves like “i am Terrible” and the other like “hey no you are Incredible” and then proceeds to list off all their good qualities, with a hand on their shoulder and earnest eyes, on and on until they both start to realize they’re staring at each other and suddenly it gets quiet and they both stop breathing for a few seconds and there’s an ever-so-brief––really, it could have been imagined––glance down at each other’s lips, and there’s that question in the back of their minds, what if i just…., and then one of their JERKWAD FRIENDS shows up and is like HEY GUYS WHATS UP WHAT ARE YOU DOING and ruins the moment, and it’s kind of annoying and kind of a relief, but they’ll both be thinking about it for days and weeks and months and however long it takes for them to come to their senses and actually make a move…. That’s the stuff.
i see this, and i raise you: two characters have committed a minor transgression, such as stealing a few fruits from a shopkeeper or maybe duped a guard, and they’re running down the streets and character A grabs character B by the sleeve and pulls them into an alley or a closet–and it’s such a small space, their chests are pressed against each other; and they’re both holding their breath until the guards run past. and then they burst out laughing, and one looks up into the other’s eyes, and they’re smiling so big, and then–well, then B is looking at their lips, and Oh No Feelings™????? and then they both kind of quiet down, until one of them just quietly says “We should go,” and then the other says “Yeah. We should.” and neither of them are making a move to go anywhere???? That’s The Shit
