Mona Alkurd , one of the Palestinians Israel is trying to kick along with 28 families out of their decades long homes in Sheikh Al Jarrah , the last Palestinian block in Al Quds ( Jerusalem ), to complete the restriction of the area to Israeli Jews .. simply an Apartheid by settlers.
“ Your posts and tweets are treasures to us “
Here a rough translation of what she said:
“ It falls on us and Palestinians and the honorable people supporting us with posts and tweets. You have no idea how much that means to us. Everyone who shares even one short post or tweet. Don’t feel like you’re doing nothing. Those posts and tweets are treasures to us. Help us get our cause heard. We are 28 families. 500 individuals. If we are removed, then there will be no Palestinians in Al Quds. And in the end, Allah is our hope. And it falls on us. And we will remain here to our last breath defending our lands and homes”
Palestine’s case is one of the rare ones where retweets, hashtags, reblogs, etc… are one of the most effective forms of support (besides boycotting and protesting) because donated money goes nowhere and petitions do not work in an apartheid state that seeks to eliminate its victims openly. We need the rest of the world watching and protesting and speaking out.
I was really good at the piano when i was little but then things got harder and i gave up because i had to try harder.
If im not a gifted kid i dont know who is

I can explain this one!
The mama trusts you!! Cats are herd animals and raise kittens collectively. She is asking you to do your job as a member of the herd and watch her kittens which are also your kittens. She feels they will be safe with you! :)
I don’t know how many times this needs to be said but zionism isn’t “Jews vs. Muslims” it’s “Occupier and Occupied”.
aside from how the “jews vs muslims” a. erases palestinian christians, druze and other religious groups b. makes it easier for zionists to claim every criticism of israel for you know, settler occupation, displacement, ongoing genocide, state terrorism and pretty much every war crime on the list is inherently antisemitic c. gives gentiles (who are “coincidentally” never palestinian) an excuse to be antisemitic (usually towards random innocent jews) as a way of “helping palestine” or “avenging palestinians” (it does neither)
theres this newer and ~woker~ version of this, “not all jews are zionists (but all zionists are jews”. is not only… misinformed and antisemitic but is often a distraction.
a good portion of violent antisemites, including neo-nazis, are zionists, because they want us gone. it didn’t work when they tried to kill us all, so getting us out of their sight is the best they can legally get.
it’s easier to say zionism is strictly “a jewish thing” than to examine how zionism feeds on antisemitism, and see the amount of governments that have and still do give and receive military assistance from israel. how the us has been complicit in genocide and war crimes alongside israel since it was founded? russia? chad? the philippines? bulgaria?
israel is collaborating and cuddling up with extreme right-winged European leaders. israel excuses and ignores violent antisemitism when it fits.
(people that are neither jewish nor palestinian are also encouraged to reblog)
Additionally, I’d like to add that Zionism has had disastrous affects for non-ashkenazi Jews both within and outside Israel, especially the Jewish Palestinian community which has been systematically erased.
The murder of Palestinian children and ethnic cleansing of Palestinian communities is being supported by the US. Americans’ taxes are funding these atrocities.
Please include Palestinians in your activism 🇵🇸❤️
Our hearts go out to Saeed Odeh’s family, to the residents of Sheikh Jarrah & Silwan resisting ethnic cleansing, and to every Palestinian in exile waiting to return to their homeland 🇵🇸❤️🕊

i know a bastardized version of “death of the author” is popular with the kids these days but there’s value in knowing what an author meant even if you disagree with their message or don’t think they did a good job conveying it or don’t personally like them. literature has a purpose beyond using it for your own personal moralizing or as a basis for fanfic. and for a group of people who are like “the author meant the curtains were fucking blue,” there’s also an obsession with putting every single word under a microscope to maximize the worst-faith readings they can take from it.
honestly i just think any variation of ‘i hate my partner’ humour sucks no matter who it’s coming from
like i don’t necessarily know that the whole weird social expectation for bi women to performatively rag on their boyfriends is on par with the boomer ‘i hate my wife’ stuff because, well, one is motivated largely by misogyny, but i still think it’s just cheap and shitty, as is any humour that relies on performing hatred for your partner
