Just for the record, you can love Tony Stark AND Wanda Maximoff at the same time…
“Uncle Ben needs to be acknowledged in the MCU!”
“No! Tony Stark should be Peter’s new father figure!”
Like seriously, I love IronDad/SpiderSon, but I also really want them to acknowledge Uncle Ben. Not a suitcase cameo, but maybe a flashback or a visit to his grave or something. They’ve never even mentioned him by name and he’s supposed to be an important part of Peter’s character and story.
Really, who says Peter can’t have TWO father figures?
Valkyrie: *shows up to the final battle on a horse no one’s ever seen before*
Loki: do NOT tell him I’m alive
Valkyrie: I’ll only not tell Thor you’re alive on ONE condition
Loki, oblivious: yeah fine sure whatever I agree
Is it wrong that I think this MIGHT actually be canon?
I mean, there is that theory that Loki might somehow still be alive after Infinity War. And Valkyrie’s horse did kinda show up out of nowhere. And honestly, I just really want the present-day Loki to somehow still be alive.
Can you imagine though if this actually turns out to be true and we get to see Loki & Thor reunite in Thor: Love and Thunder?
“I told you the sun would shine on us again.”
Why Star Wars Needs a Snyder Cut
Why #StarWars Needs a #SnyderCut
#zacksnydersjusticeleague #releasethejjcut #releasetheabramscut**CW/TW racist slurs & remarks**
It’s been well-documented that racism surrounding the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy erupted in an overt social media boycott stemming from a few fringe members of the Star Wars fandom. Star Wars Episode VII was originally accused of being “anti-white” and promoting “white genocide” because John Boyega was a Black stormtrooper and other leading faces were not white…
Okay, so I know Kevin Feige has said multiple times that Spider-Man: Far From Home is the end of Phase 3 and the Infinity Saga.
And of course there’s fans who see it as an epilogue or even a “long post-credits scene” to the Infinity Saga. And I understand the reasons why Feige and the fans see it that way.
But for me, personally speaking, it doesn’t work.
Now, yes, I do understand that Far From Home is meant to explore the world, specifically Peter, after the events of Infinity War & Endgame and how he moves on after Tony’s death.
But that, to me, sounds more in line with Phase 4 - WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, etc. - where we find out what happens to all the surviving heroes and how they move on after Thanos.
As a matter of fact, the only film that doesn’t really work as a part of Phase 4, to me, is Black Widow.
Keep in mind, Tony and Steve weren’t the only Avengers we lost (R.I.P. to the three of them 😢) And unlike many of the other Phase 4 projects which are set after Endgame, Black Widow is a prequel that takes place after Captain America: Civil War. We learn more about Natasha Romanoff’s past and her family figures. We’re supposed to see Taskmaster, Secretary Ross and even Tony Stark himself. And it’s possible that the mid/post-credits scenes will lead directly into Phase 4.
That, to me, sounds like a much better film to close out Phase 3 and open the doors for Phase 4 than Far From Home. And considering Natasha didn’t get a funeral at the end of Endgame, this - in my opinion - would be a great way to honor her memory and sacrifice. By having her long-awaited solo film serve as the ending (or epilogue, or “long post-credits scene”) to the entire Infinity Saga.
And it works perfectly when you consider that the Infinity Saga begins and ends with the two people who sacrificed themselves to save the universe.
And you can still watch Spider-Man: Far From Home, but instead just watch it as the beginning of Phase 4 (and the next saga) as it was originally supposed to be. I think it actually works better that way and it lines up better with the rest of Phase 4.
Unfortunately, we have to wait a little longer for Black Widow to come out before we can actually see it and properly end the Infinity Saga. But it’ll be worth the wait.
To sum it up, in my opinion, the “true end of the entire Infinity Saga, the final film of Phase 3″ is not Spider-Man: Far From Home, but instead Black Widow. And Far From Home is instead the first film of Phase 4 and the next saga which includes many other post-Endgame projects.
Plain and simple.
I re-wrote the sequel trilogy (Because its what the characters deserve)
STAR WARS EPISODE VII: SHADOWS OF THE FORCE
In a time without war, the NEW REPUBLIC struggles to maintain peace in an ever-changing galaxy. The worlds of the mid rim have grown distant, while the outer rim has slowly become hostile.
Through the ashes of the old war, A Resurgent Empire, led by the tactical and seasoned Rae Sloane, has launched a desperate campaign to align the Independent worlds to their faction and create their own society.
As a sign of good faith to one of the RESURGENT EMPIRE’S benefactors, a squad of Remnant Troopers has been dispatched to the planet of Mustafar to find and terminate a notorious criminal organization that has taken control of a castle that was thought to be lost in the darkness…
I re-wrote the sequel trilogy, not because I think I could’ve done better, but because l had a lot of ideas and interpretations of the trilogy that didn’t make it to the big screen. I thought these characters deserved better and I’ve always wanted to write a Star Wars.
Shadows of the Force is a rewrite to The Force Awakens:
Han and Leia are still together and Connix is their 2nd child
Luke’s new Jedi Order is still around
Snoke theories matter
Finn is force senstive
And Rey definitely isn’t a Palpatine
I’m rewriting the entire trilogy
VII: Shadows of the Force
VIII: The Lost Heir
IX: The Guardians of the Will
So if you’re interested to watch a different version of the sequel trilogy, here’s where you can start: https://youtu.be/QPegRSr5AzA
Why choose between Romanogers & ClintNatLaura when you can just combine them into one pairing? 😍
CLAUROMANOGERS (Clint / Laura / Romanoff / Rogers)
Enjoy! And feel free to share your own Clauromanogers headcanons (if you have any) 🥰
So Clauromanogers, equal poly, and date nights. Where Nat and Clint go hiking or to sporty things, Steve and Laura go dancing, dinner and a movie type deal. Cause Laura researching to find some nearby place that actually does more older style dancing, less modern. Complete with heels and the long swishy dress, Steve in a suit with waistcoat.
Okay, so I couldn’t decide between Romanogers and ClintNatLaura. But then I thought… why not combine them together?
Why not create a pairing of 4 instead of 3 and add Steve into the mix?
Sounds crazy, I know, but think about it from a shipper perspective…
Also, regarding that last ship, Clint, Natasha and Steve certainly have their moments as a trio in The Avengers.
Also, look at this scene from Age of Ultron of Lila hugging her Aunt Nat with Steve and the rest of the family standing nearby… LOOK AT IT!
Alright, alright, I’ll cut straight to my headcanon…
Clint & Laura are still legally married, while Steve marries Natasha, but the four of them are in a polyamorous relationship. They are all bisexual and in love with each other.
In addition to helping raise Cooper, Lila and Nathaniel, Steve & Natasha welcome their own children: twins, Sarah and James, named after Steve’s mother and best friend. Even though the Barton kids are Clint/Laura’s and Sarah & James are Steve/Nat’s, they still view all four of them as their parents.
After realizing they can’t keep doing the hero job for the rest of their lives, they decide to retire to focus on raising this huge new family they’ve created. Clint begins training a new girl named Kate Bishop to take over for him as Hawkeye, while Steve passes his shield and the Cap mantle onto his friend, Sam Wilson / Falcon, in hopes that he’ll lead an all-new Avengers team in the future to protect Earth.
And maybe… just maybe… Natasha reunites with her friend and sister-figure, Yelena Belova, to introduce her new family and maybe discuss the idea of her taking over as Black Widow for the new Avengers?
And finally the ship name. Obviously the title gives it away, but here it is anyway…
(Clint / Laura / Romanoff / Rogers)
Alright, that’s it. Hope you enjoyed watching me letting out my inner fanboy/shipper! 😊
(Also, yes, this completely ignores Endgame and the ‘I can’t have kids’ scene in Age of Ultron. Just thought I’d clear that up 😉)
Star Wars: The Force Awakens novelization author Alan Dean Foster says there was “obviously the beginnings of a relationship” between Finn (John Boyega) and Rey (Daisy Ridley) that failed to materialize over the Star Wars sequel trilogy — and a hint at that relationship was removed from his novel. The author of the original Star Wars novelization and sequel novel Splinter of the Mind’s Eye, Foster agreed to write the novel adaptation of filmmaker J.J. Abrams’ franchise revival The Force Awakens. When he attempted to water seeds that were planted for an eventual Finn-Rey romance, Foster says he was forced to remove a scene relating to the blossoming relationship:
“I did my usual thing when I do these adaptations of trying to fix things that I think need fixing in the story and fixing in the science. Not so much with the characters, because the characters are fairly well-established in a screenplay,” Foster told Midnight’s Edge. “Some things they said to take out, and some things they left alone. Some of the things they said to take out I thought were silly and would really have improved the book if I had been able to leave them in the book, but I can’t talk about those.”
“There were a couple of things in there, and a couple of things that happened subsequently that bothered me. I’m going to tell you one thing they made me take out because enough time has passed, I don’t think it matters,” Foster said, adding only that there was “obviously the beginnings of a relationship” between Finn and Rey.
“I expected to see that developed further in Episode VIII [The Last Jedi],” Foster said. “And zero happened with it. And we all know why zero happened with it — and there’s no need to go into it in-depth — but that’s, sadly, just the way things are.”
But Finn and Rey spend much of The Last Jedi separated, and Finn is linked romantically to franchise newcomer Rose (Kelly Marie Tran). Foster reveals he attempted to retcon the Rian Johnson-directed middle chapter with an unused treatment for Episode IX, calling The Last Jedi a “terrible film” and “a terrible Star Wars movie.”
So are we finally done here?! 5 years later. 5 damn years later! It’s over. We got the truth! Finn and Rey were supposed to be the romance of the sequel trilogy but because Disney Lucasfilm is racist AF it didn’t happen and it was taken out.
I’m done hearing the “Oh I don’t see it” or “It’s all made up”. No, the truth is EVERYTHING but Finn and Rey was either made up or shameless pandering that was not part of JJ and Kasdan’s story of The Force Awakens at all.
It wasn’t JJ Abram who went against Finnrey
It wasn’t Lawrence Kasdan who went against Finnrey.
It wasn’t Chris Terrio who went against Finnrey
It was Disney Lucasfilm.
John Boyega deserved Better
So, let’s give some context to those who are not aware of what John Boyega has gone through since being cast in Star Wars so many years ago.
And feel free to add anything I miss.
- After being cast in The Force Awakens, there had been a large backlash and a call to Boycott Episode VII
- Then after The Force Awakens, John had to deal with toxic fans constantly claiming he was not the Male Lead of the Sequel Trilogy over and over again even though that went against what he was told by The Force Awakens director JJ Abrams when he was cast and what TFA clearly setup.
- Finn’s character would then be erased and sidelined in the sequel to TFA, The Last Jedi, much to the celebration of certain fans who claimed it was better that Finn not be in the main conflict of the trilogy.
- During this time, John would still be routinely harassed by the bigots who were against his casting as well as people going to his social media accounts to verbally attack him.
- Then we having the shipping community…which I will not go too deeply into this beyond the fact that one group of shippers have made John Boyega’s life a living hell, even demanding that Disney blacklists him from ever getting work and influencers in that community sending their followers after Boyega. Then we have another group of shippers who legitimately accused John of queerbaiting on multiple occasions through the years.
- Then there was the backlash John Boyega received when he had said that his character Finn and Kelly Marie Tran’s character deserved better in The Last Jedi and that the movie was not for him. Citing that as a Black man playing a Black character, being removed from the central conflict of the trilogy was something he creatively disagreed with. This had earned him the hate of fans of The Last Jedi to large degrees that spread from SW influencers to actors and critics that were close with the director of TLJ.
- Then John had been falsely accused of bullying Kelly Marie Tran and once again a group in the Star Wars community went again him.
- Then, after months of re-shoots. re-writes and multiple story changes on the final film of the Skywalker saga, The Rise of Skywalker, John Boyega gave his honest thoughts on a creative choice in the film he disagreed with. That earned him the most harassment from the same community who went after him with false claims of bullying Kelly Marie Tran and that he wasn’t the male lead of the trilogy.
- I covered a good deal of that one in this video https://youtu.be/WLFVKUX4qDs
- And finally, after giving his support to the Black Lives Matter cause, John had been attacked once again by toxic Star Wars fans who either claimed HE was being racist against white people or that fighting for BLM didn’t earn him “Redemption” for the false things they accused him of.
John Boyega has endured nothing but constant attacks for years and has gotten almost next to no support from the online community in the way that he should.
The man has fought against racism, fought for his own place in the film industry, and even started his own production company to give people who never had a shot a chance.
If there is one thing John Boyega is, he is a hero. And if he is anything else, then he’s a role model.
REBLOG THIS SO EVERYONE KNOWS:
JOHN BOYEGA DESERVED BETTER
When all know how the companies loved to use Black Lives Matter to help their PR, or at least they did when they could still monetize it.
One of the companies that did that had been Lucasfilm who did that by supporting John Boyega when he had gone out to protest back in June of 2020.
The funny thing is, and by funny I mean bull shit, Lucasfilm has never shown support for John Boyega through the years as he’s faced years of racism from both the Star Wars Community and from folks within their own company.
In fact, even during the push to boycott John’s casting, Lucasfilm had never said a word in support of John Boyega.
They showed zero support for the STAR of their own new trilogy, yet were sure to put his face eveywhere in the marketing
And this got me thinking how much they had used John Boyega’s Finn in the marketing of the film “The Force Awakens” to advertise a Black Jedi, and how even the film had set it up, and yet John Boyega had this to stay in regards to how The Last Jedi treated him and his character.
And through the years, many folks would defend Lucasfilm under the excuse that the story of Rey and Kylo was actually the main story, that Finn was just a red herring or that his story would take away from hers.
Well to all those people, get your clown shoes because Daisy Ridley just said “LOL NOP!” to all that.
So no, they never had Rey’s story nailed down. They never had Kylo’s story either. Think about that, in a story where Rey could have been anything and everything always had to be about Kylo, Finn was sidelined for no reason.
Oh, wait. I know the reason and I talked about it in this video in detail:
So I’m just wondering, if Lucasfilm stood with the Black community, why did they sideline Finn? If Lucasfilm actually stood with John Boyega, why did they not only show zero support for him until they could use it for PR? Lucasfilm never stood with the Black Community, it never stood with John Boyega, and they deserve all the backlash they’re getting for this fake woke trilogy.
Retweet this so everyone knows what they did, so they know how they lied, and if you stand with John Boyega
I Stand With John Boyega
VERSE. // Continuing Solo
Continuation of my Breha Solo verse for Post-IX.
With the final loss of her mother Breha finds herself the last known living Organa Solo in the galaxy. With that name she feels comes great responsibility.
Though she would love to do nothing more than take a moment to try and enjoy the Resistance’s victory she knows what is to come next is just the beginning.
It is time to rebuild after the horrible mess the First Order left behind. She will take a little time to mourn all those they have lost but she knows she has to be there. With all the skills her mother has taught her she intends to see things through. This time they will keep the peace.
Working with the likes of Rey Skywalker, Finn, Poe Dameron, Rose Tico, and many others they begin to work on bringing the galaxy back to peace.
With some guidance from C-3PO and words her mother had passed on ( as not only General Organa but also Senator Organa and her own favorite, Princess Leia ) , Breha is trying to help form a new government that will work to protect from the likes of a First Order reappearing.
The Force seems to finally be in balance….
This verse is open to the idea of Ben Solo SURVIVED .
Another Solo Verse.// Breha Organa Solo
What if Lt. Kaydel Ko Connix was actually Breha Organa Solo…
Named for her maternal adoptive grandmother, Breha is a handful of years younger than
Ben ( Organa ) SoloKylo Ren. Breha came into the world a part of a loving family. She grew up flying in the Millenium Falcon, curling up with Uncle Chewie as he played dejarik (holochess) with her dad, and being introduced to all sorts of worlds. She had a great love of animals and would often be found around some critter if she happened to wander off. ( Thankfully she never tried to bring any home. ) Her parents were often on the move due to their professions so she found herself lonely at times especially once Ben was sent to train with their Uncle Luke.
When she was old enough her parents finally agreed to send Breha off to Luke as well. Sleeping in her own hut she was not in the temple when it was consumed in fire. Awoken by her family’s fighting she witnessed the collapse of her brother’s hut along with the destruction of the temple. Before she had a chance to confront him her brother left leaving her alone in the destruction.
When Luke was discovered and regained consciousness he discouraged her from following after her brother and returned her to Leia before flying off to parts unknown. When Ben succumbed to the Dark Side there was a disturbance in The Force which his mother and sister felt. When her parents separated she tried to find work with the skills she’d learned over the years. Eventually she found work as a docking controller at a spaceport.
When Leia started the Resistance to protect the New Republic from the growing First Order Breha was excited to have something to fight for. She signed up for the Resistance Navy under a false name : Kaydel Ko Connix. Changing her name to avoid rumors of favoritism and bias, Breha worked under her mother as a ‘stranger’ for years as she built her way up in the Resistance. There are few who know Kaydel’s true history. The upper levels of Resistance command consist of veterans of the Galactic Civil War who had remained loyal to Leia and readily rallied to her call to action. Officers such as Admiral Ackbar know but address Breha as Connix on the bridge. Commander D’acy also knows.
Her own lightsaber sworn off and forgotten since she never finished her training, Breha is working for The Resistance as a controller rather than out on the field. Ben was always better anyways. ‘Kaydel’ took more after her mother, not feeling connected to the force in the same way as her brother Ben was. While she still feels a pull it is in a different way, more subtle.
With each family loss, Breha tries to fight the devastating feelings and channels it into helping in the fight.
NOTE: This verse is a blanket verse for VII - IX.
