Sherlock shares his hair tips with DI Dimmock.
There’s Sherlock’s emergency comb! I didn’t know he had emergency hairspray too, but now that I think of it, it makes sense.
It has been a long time since I’ve had time to talk to you! How are you all?
I’ve been so busy lately, with so many different things. Lots of contract work, lots of work-work, and my wife and I are putting our condo on the market, because of all the work, we need some more space to do the work in. Make sense?
Three years ago we bought this place, an absolutely perfect little 2 bed 2 bath apartment-style condo. Now, it was what we could afford at the time, so it is not in a great neighbourhood, and we had to do a few updates to the broken appliances. But it was good… until covid, then we went to work from home. Suddenly there’s two of us, working in the same space, and the bed had to be taken out of the second bedroom to make it into an office. The office was for my wife though, since she is basically in meetings all day and is in a position to have personal information in those conversations, so we can’t share the space. So, it has me working in the living room for the last year and a bit. With our workplace gradually opening up this autumn, they sent a survey to see if we wanted to go and work back there. We decided that we want to stay working from home, but get a bigger place for two workspaces.
I don’t really like working in the living room, since we have one that connects to the kitchen and dining area, so it isn’t very private. I’d like a little privacy, or to feel a bit more in control of my surroundings.
Also, if we get a place where we can have pets, then my wife said I can finally have a cat. She’s saying it is the true reason I want to move, but she wants a dog just as much as I want a cat.
Anyhoo, what comes with looking for a new place? Selling your old one! We have been cleaning and rented a storage locker to hide all our stuff. It took close to two weeks to make it presentable with us working full time plus bonus hours.
We still have paperwork to do, but it is almost ready. Wish us luck that we find a place that is right for us!
The violin isn’t doing the trick anymore. Knitting helps Sherlock think.
#This is taken from the scene in Reichenbach right before Lestrade comes to arrest him #Sherlock will refuse to go unless he can cast off his next row first #He knit his last scarf #This time it is a new sweater for John
“Just as I expected… Havarti!”#He goes to the lab and determined that the slices of Havarti were sliced in a deli
#If he could find the slicer
#he will find the kidnapper.
#Grain mustard… Bread and cheese haven’t dried out
#it was ordered within the hour.
#He was just about to put a sample of the lettuce in the centrifuge
#when John arrives with a receipt for a LumberJack Deli Sandwich from Speedy’s.
#That would work as well
I have a recommendation!
My brother has a YouTube channel called Happy Little Dollar Trees.
He paints Bob Ross’ Joy of Painting pictures using only dollar store art supplies. The videos are super chill and are all like 30 seconds each.

“John, we really need to continue the investigation.”
“I’m not letting you out of here with cuticles that look like THAT.”
This Fandom needs to take a day off… urgently
I took yesterday off.
Oh dear… This is getting quite out of hand, isn’t it? xD
