Ngl, at first, I was wondering what he was waiting for because SY looked like he was walking away from him, but then he smiled and turned around and… huh?? They just arrived in this world and they’re already doing this????? I literally never saw Seungkwan and Hansol in the same car! And they’re in a relationship and living under the same roof (too)! Wth. Yes, my old Sims 3 memories are either gone or very rusty (2012–2013). The only things I remember are my teen Sim going to school with the bus (I remember being impressed even though the graphics were so low bc shit computer) and Henry the red haired adult Sim with pointy vampire teeth (he was not a vampire) eating expired food, making his toilets gross af and fishing in his pool…. I definitely tortured him a bit too much but I still had fun with him back then hahaha. 🤭 (I’m not evil, you are 😈)

Okay, this is a long one, but it’s… it’s funny. Especially because I wasn’t controlling them at all (my household was still with my main Sim, Kanon, the entire time lol). Okay.

First of all, why does everyone keep changing into their formal outfit???? Literally every single one of my Sims did… except one (Hao). Weird. (Correction: it’s because of the Proper trait for him) Welp, I used Nraas MasterController mod to fix it. >:( Couldn’t do it another way since I wasn’t controlling this household.

So… as usual, stalky stalky with the camera as I watched them getting to know their house…. kinda. I mean, they’re Sims, they can’t be that smart. Oh, that’s so funny, watching him go up↑ and down↓ the ladder 🤣 Doesn’t the ladder make the upper floor look like some kind of creepy attic from the ground floor ?! LOL

Eventually, I didn’t take screenshots of whatever he was doing up there (playing with one of the laptops) but he was… he was invisible because 1) I wasn’t controlling this household 2) I didn’t use the mod to open the lot (used the camera mode with [Tab] from outside the house to go inside). Spooky! The laptop and the chair were moving on their own!! 🤣🤣

Also, I was looking for the other because I kept hearing his wings but I couldn’t find him. Kitchen? Nope. Bathroom? Nope. I didn’t check the garage though.

I originally lined them up to change their heights and stuff since I didn’t quickly make them one after another (? my english is dying lol), and it’s getting better (slowly). Finally I learned to beat my fears and actually do something about it 😂 I don’t know wtf happened before honestly lol they looked so weird!! Some still do (af) and one… I feel like I kinda made him worse but maybe it’s just me. 🤔

Anyway.

I forgot I gave H different hairs and failed to notice (remember) it sooner haha. Here’s him with his new hair:

One of them has a glitchy hair and the other… he didn’t have “appropriate” hair (“Jeonghan hair”) at the time but I fixed it the next day lol I edited them later on too. (this post was made during the last week of November 2020)

Ah and yes, they are wearing the same pants…………………… I didn’t even do that on purpose as I didn’t create them the same month. I forgot and it just happened 🤣 Seungkwan is wearing the same pants too if I remember correctly. I guess that was bound to happen as male sims don’t have that many clothes compared to female sims.

… I just wanted to see what it’d look like on him (with his stretched head) haha

Hello fellow Simmers who use an AZERTY keyboard like me and play The Sims 3. Isn’t the camera hard to control if you don’t switch to QWERTY when you get into the game? It is… unless you get used to it.

So I created a mod to fix that. Unfortunately, as you know CTRL+Z is “Undo”, it conflicts with the shortcut because there are “pitch up / down” controls (CTRL+W / CTRL+X on QWERTY), which just make the camera rotate on the X axis. I tried to change it but… idk, it was the same as before. :c + I did look pretty much everywhere if someone already made a mod like that after all these years, but I didn’t find anything. Instead I found people saying it was impossible to change the controls lol

🐓 Pour les francophones qui me liraient (et/ou qui chercheraient ce genre de chose sur un moteur de recherche), j’ai créé un mod pour changer les touches contrôlant la caméra dans Les Sims 3, parce que bouger ses doigts dans tous les sens et se tromper de touche à chaque fois juste parce que j’ai pas envie de passer au QWERTY euh… non merci xd J’ai testé, ça fonctionne sans souci. Bon, si, il y a un souci… CTRL+Z ne fonctionne plus (plus pour annuler, ça bouge la caméra à la place). :’-( Il y a un fichier que j’ai tenté de modifier mais ça créait plein de conflicts donc j’ai laissé tomber. Au moins c’est moins la galère pour bouger la caméra avec un clavier azerty donc je ne trouve pas cela si dérangeait que ça.
Bon voilà, j’ai pas créé de version FR pour les images au dessus mais si vous avez un anglais basique correct (niveau école primaire quoi), vous devriez comprendre sans problème.

Instructions:
1) Cliquez sur MF ou MEGA au dessus, ça vous redirigera vers Mediafire ou MEGA où vous pourrez télécharger le fichier .package.
2) Une fois le fichier téléchargé, mettez-le dans le dossier Overrides qui se trouve à l’adresse suivante: C:\Users\(nom)\Documents\Electronic Arts\Les Sims 3\Mods\Overrides ; si vous ne l’avez pas, cherchez comment installer des mods sur Internet. 🤔

Anyway, no need to credit me for this. Don’t repost and claim as yours though. And especially don’t repost behind a paywall or on a paysite! That’s nasty, yikes

About the excessive amount of basil leaves: I placed the dough on the right side so I didn’t see where the sauce and the cheese were, so I kept dumbly taking the leaves and throwing them everywhere on the pizza. Then I finally located the sauce and the cheese and even though I placed the right amount on it, this hill happened and I’m not sure why. 🤣 Like I said– this was my first pizza.

First Sim I created since I retrieved the game (Sims 3). I included her first (left), second (middle) and latest version (right). My memory wasn’t doing so well so it took me time to figure things out and to download a bunch of custom content. Back then (2012-2014), I had a crap computer and blablabla, my knowledge was limited.

Anyway, I made the base, played a little bit, then I improved her. :3

Still I’m sad because I still didn’t find a good hair for her, so I wanted to create one myself but it’s been years (6+) since I last properly used Blender and created 3D models so I’m very rusty lol. Maybe someday, she’ll have good hair… maybe. Well, that was until recently lol. It’s still too long but it suits her so I’m happy! From what I understood, she likes casual clothes (with basic colors) and likes wearing pants / dresses that can cover her legs. Ah, and big shoes (platforms).
Also, she is missing her double eyelids…

I still have a bunch in my drafts from months ago but…… There are a few sims I wanted to create / edit before the year 2020 ended and when I was playing a little bit to check if their heights were okay, I learned something? Since I don’t know that much about the game (due to not playing it for years and still not actually playing it much), there’s still a lot I have yet to experience so far but?????????? I thought all animations were fixed but it turns out not all of them are? That was nice to learn lol. But?????? Since the year started, I kept wondering if I was seeing things and if they can’t actually look at each other but then I saw this and I can’t stop thinking about it 👀🤣🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

I had a lot of trouble while trying to make a save file for Christmas only (corrupted, crashes, …) so uh… things didn’t go as planned. I’m too late now. But it’s okay, it can be anything in The Sims right? it’s winter everyday!

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the Sims CC hoarders that might follow me - hoard all the Mediafire CC where you know that the creator hasn’t been around for a long time.

Coming January all (free) accounts that have been inactive for 8 months will be deleted as they will be considered abandoned.

Under “Abandoned Accounts“ Mediafire explains that if you are a free account holder, Mediafire WILL consider your account abandoned if you do not logon every 8 months to “reset” the timer.

If you hold a paid Personal, Professional, and Business account, you will be safe from the devastation this will do to our CC supply.

This implies that creators who used Mediafire as their only hosting service will find that unless they log into their account every 8 months, their files will be deleted.

Additionally - It does not matter if you download the content from Mediafire, they care about Account Activity and not the File Download activity, so even if it is a popular download, but the creator has a free account and hasn’t logged in within 8 months time, we will lose the link.

There is a way to not junk up your computer with old custom content and then reupload it - you can archive these Mediafire links with the Wayback Machine, as per these two reddit comments which advise to do so.

Here are the explanations for the previous post’s events lol.

So, I found these two hanging out there, idk why, but yeah. Then, about a month later, I decided to change things up, so I cleaned, removed things I didn’t want in my game anymore, and added more mods, including this enhanced skin. (btw, I’d rather keep the pixels…) So, I wanted to see what it looked like on them! Thus, I looked for them where I found them last time (I used Tagger) and I changed their outfits to naked but I was still on the map view(?) so I couldn’t tell where they actually were… and that’s when I saw them in their cars. So I pretty much removed their clothes while they were driving 🤣 Seriously, I couldn’t stop laughing that day. At least, I know what it looks like on them and I also learned that their feet clip through the car.

I’m not gonna lie.

I was laughing and crying when I saw that LOL!

Can you see it? They’re entirely naked in their cars 🤣🤣 but why did that even happen in the first place? I’ll explain in another post.
