Just wanted to post something. I feel kinda bad I haven’t posted anything in a long while.

I’ve still been visiting the tags and enjoying your guys’ posts.

I over all had a really good semester. My tc and I got to hangout on a weekly basis and it’s been rad and helped us be more comfortable with one another. He still remains to be one of if not only the coolest person I’ve come to know.

He’ll do random cute shit and it’ll just really hit me, like lol damn you really got to do it to ‘em, huh?

It’s shaping up to be a very nice semester 👌👌

Been having a lot of dreams with R. They’ve all been really nice. In a way, they’ve been fun but they also kind of make me miss him more lol

5-25-19

We were talking about our favorite punk bands and R chimed in saying that he used to be a punk in high school and he got into a lot of fights and he wonders what happened to him as he got older. I added that his kids made him soft and he laughed and admitted that they did.

I had asked R if he could give me a ride home and he said of course and after finishing everything for the day a friend of mine asked if I needed a ride home and I said no and patted R on the shoulder as we walked and said: “nah, I got ol’ faithful here, but thanks.” And R chuckled and said that he actually really appreciates me calling him ol’ faithful which made me feel really happy.

That night I had a dream that R was driving me home and we were talking and for whatever reason, we started to lean in to kiss but he stopped a centimeter away to tease me and I could actually feel his warm breathe and feel the prickle of his facial hair as he was talking. At one point he wore my flannel that was big on me and after a while, he gave it back to me and I was wearing it and could smell his scent on it. At one point he picked me up from my home and we went to a local grocery store and he had me push a cart as he stood behind me pressed against my back and holding the handlebar as well with his hands touching mine.

5-14-19

Today we went out to lunch again and I couldn’t decide despite being kinda hungry, on what to get so I just decided to not get anything. We sat at a table that could accommodate all of us. A couple of the others and R asked if I was getting anything and I told them I wasn’t sure. Everyone got their food and I was content just hanging out and didn’t ask to have a bite of anyone’s food. But R offered me his 2nd burger, he usually orders 2 at a time, as he was eating his 1st and I told him nah and that I’m okay. But he sure was persistent and pushed it towards me until I took it.

Sorry about the absence

I’ve still been checking up on the tcc pretty regularly and liking posts every now and then, but it’ll show up being liked by my main account of course.

Nothing too big has been happening and I can’t say that my feelings for R have stayed the same. He’s still my favorite person. That hasn’t changed. I’ve gotten over the more crushy kind of feeling… up until he starts to get really friendly with me out of nowhere. And when he’s super nice like when I didn’t have my wallet on me one time when we went to lunch and I wasn’t that hungry. If I did bring some money, I would’ve just bought a little something to just kinda get myself through the day.

He asked why I wasn’t getting anything. I told him I forgot my wallet and was okay anyway. And he offered to buy me something and I said that it was ok and that I’d be alright. He continued to insist that he’d buy me something and motioned for me to follow him to the register and I reluctantly got up and followed him and told me to go ahead and order anything as he got his wallet out. I wasn’t that hungry so I just got a little something and he was surprised how cheap it was (lol for whatever reason) and I responded like yeah I’m a cheap date. He cracked up at that which made me really happy.

It adds years to my life whenever he says some positive affirmations, especially after I’m asking him for help on something.

I was pretty surprised when he texted me first for the first time. Before I would text him first if I needed to ask him something, I try not to bother him too much.

At times I’ll jokingly call him “dad” whenever his fatherly side really comes out (which is just fucking adorable at times).

4-19-19

Dreamt that I was out on a trip with a class club group that was part of my college and M was there to help out. We stopped at a sort of Texas Road House/Bass Pro shop place to have dinner. After entering we were put in a waiting area so the employees could ready a table for all of us and I caught sight of my dad and quickly ducked out of sight and M saw how freaked out I had suddenly got and came by and asked what’s wrong and I told him that my dad is here too and that I don’t want him to see that I’m here too. He understand and right then it was our time to be seated and so he took off his jacket and gave it to me to put on and after doing so he pulled the hood up over my head and put his arm around me and walked with me to the table and kept quietly saying that it’s going to be okay.

• As an aside my dad isn’t a violent person. I’ve just had to cut contact with him a couple years ago because he was starting to be really toxic and just because making it apparent that my friends love me more and are more supportive whenever I’m struggling with whatever than my own father. I just never want to randomly encounter him because im afraid of the conflict that might arise.

Found out that M and I were at the same concert 8 years ago. We both got a kick out of it and talked about the bands that were performing that night.

29. Do any of your friends/family know that you have a TC?

1 friend does.

30. How do you think your TC would react if they’d find your blog?

He probably wouldn’t say jack shit directly, instead he’d somehow allude to it. Or he just might pull my aside to ask about it whenever I see him next. Hard to say.

31. What is the weirdest dream you’ve had about your TC?

I spent the night at his place on the couch, I think I was pet sitting for him and he got back really late that night. When I woke up I went to the kitchen to grab a drink and was heading back to the living room when I almost bump into M with my head down and I catch him with his hand down the front of his red briefs readjusting himself and I started to get really flustered and I try to look away as fast as I could to not linger and get noticed. We were getting ready to head out when he told me he was thinking about giving me a key to his place. He told me to hold out my hand to him and he put in my hand and he started to tease me by faking me out when giving me the key, I managed to grab it and held on to it tight to mess with him back and I let go and we both laughed it off and he said that he’s been really thinking about giving me a key to his place. And M and I went to a strip mall and he dropped me off at one of the stores I liked and he went to another looking for something he needed to fix something.

27. What is your favourite moment with your TC so far?

Whenever we have little side conversations with each other. Or whenever we’ve bantered with each other.

There’s 1 memory that I’ve been holding onto since December. We were sat next to each other at this place that we were all getting breakfast. And like nothing really special happened but now every time I go by that place, I smile like an idiot.

28. Imagine you graduated and you’re in a relationship with your TC. You told your parents about your relationship but they don’t support you. What would you do?

I mean my parents have always prioritized their own love lives above their own child so ya know, karma’s a bitch 🖕. And especially when it comes to my mom that constantly picks shitty guys, she has no room to talk on who I should and shouldn’t be dating.

Got to go out to lunch with just me, R and K (R’s coworker and who also helps mentor me). It was really nice to go, I definitely needed it. Even though I didn’t say much, it was still fun to just listen to them go back and forth about whatever and telling me about past stuff and people they’ve worked with.

They even brought it up later when we got back on campus about how I didn’t say much and I was just like, “well you two seemed to be carrying a conversation all on your own and it was just interesting to listen to you two go back and forth 😅”. They also thanked me for going with and I’m always confused when they do that and I always want to be like “thank you for letting me go with!”

Venting

I’ve been in a weird funk lately. I feel like I’m a burden to the group like I’m an outsider that doesn’t quite fit in or belong.

So the group is M, his coworker and now 2 other students before it was just one other one. And both these students have been in this program longer than I have, at least a couple years. But the 2nd one hasn’t been hanging out since I started to help out about halfway through the semester? At first, I was very unsure and kinda afraid of her because the first kind of interaction I had with her was when she had just had a fit of frustration with an obligation she had and was kind of all over the place emotionally from what I had seen from the outside.

So since she’s joined in the group more regularly. Now I’ve been feeling more out of place. Like “being the weakest link” in the group. I was kinda getting that feeling since the end of last semester and has only been getting stronger and has grown exponentially since this other girl has been helping out and hanging out more.

I started to learn that she has bad anxiety like I do. We’ve talked a bit here and there and it’s been friendly. M is always really friendly towards her, and I’m kind of jealous of it? Like I don’t think I really love M and strong desire to be with him, I admire and respect him for all his hard work he’s done to get to the career he wanted, doing so kinda later in life when he wasn’t happy where he was. And I just really like being around him and his energy, and want to be a friend hopefully at some point. So I think I’m just jealous of the friendly fun connection they have.

But this shit kinda has been happening after having to cut ties with my dad when I realized that he was getting to be really toxic, and I was already getting enough of that from my mom. And it just especially sucks having to cut ties with him because I took more after him and connected with him better even though I rarely saw him. Sometimes there’s a twinge of pain when I see a happy healthy family. And parents learning from their parents’ mistakes and do better for their kids and I ask why didn’t my parents do that for me? And then I just pretty much spiral and I need to go do something else.

But I don’t know. It just feels like she’s taking my spot and I never truly belonged since I don’t know as much and haven’t had as much experience as they’ve had. And I’m just more of a burden and not as much help. And I think M’s coworker is catching onto me feeling like I’m left out or don’t fit in and he’ll talk to me about the plans for upcoming events and at the end of every event he’ll always make sure to either tell me or text me saying thanks for coming and helping out. M will chat with me and we’ll joke around a bit, but it’s not quite like it was before. And he’ll ask more why doesn’t he just drop me off at home since we live really close to each other. And I’d really like for him to do so and I’ve given him gas money before and would still do so, but my grandma is still weird about the whole situation of me hanging out with M and his coworker even though their track record has been clean and nothing has ever happened. She only really has let him drive me home when it’s storming really bad out or if the event ends really late.

So I feel like they’re just putting up with me and taking pity on me. I don’t want to be a burden, helping out has been helping me with my classes that I’ve been having trouble in. And now I don’t know if I should just stop going to events and just try to ask for help from M when I need it and he’s available to do so and start helping out again when I know more about what I’m doing and will be able to help more. I’ve had a long history spanning almost all my life up till now of not fitting into sides of my family, groups, and clubs, and eventually getting cast out or pushed away. I’m worrying that’s it’s happening again…

And I know if I bring it up to them, they’ll most likely say “no, it’s really good that you’re coming and what you’ve been learning and practicing with us will help you especially in your upcoming classes”

But I don’t know, man… I can’t tell if it’s just my issues clouding up my judgment or if I’m just facing facts.

25. Is there something your TC does that makes you smile every time he/she does that?

Whenever he does something completely random when he thinks no one is paying attention. Whenever he finds something funny.

26. Does your TC have any cute/weird/funny habits?

11: Describe your least favorite aspect of your TC’s physical appearance.

Mostly whenever he shaves his face. Like, he looks “softer” with some facial hair. Even though his beard is patchy, it’s cute af when he lets it do its thing.

Other than that, he’s got some old tatts that rarely show that I’d like to see him get fixed up. But that’s just the artist/tattoo lover part of me that would love to see that piece done properly and could actually look really cool if done right.

18: What’s their political stance, if you know it? If you don’t, what do you think it is?

I don’t know his political stance. I’m just happy that he also is done with Trump’s idiocy. We haven’t really talked about politics.

19: Have they ever defended you/stood up for you/protected you?

Not per say. Well kinda, I was helping put stuff away after an event and I follow orders from R and his coworker, K. So K asked me to put something back in their office, and right after he left and I was on my way to their office, I ran into R and he told me to just leave it in the classroom we were in atm. And I was just standing there looking at him like “buuuut K said to put this back in your guys’ office??” And he shook his head and insisted that I just leave it there and to not worry about it. Then, of course, we find K right when we’re leaving the building and he asks me if I put the thing back in the right spot on the office and I was just there like 😬 and avoided eye contact and R stepped in and said that he told me to leave it in one of the classrooms.

M smokes and loves cats and so there’s these matchbook boxes that someone makes that are like antique designs I guess and there’s cats and a funny quip, mostly dealing with being drunk, on each one. There’s a couple that I’d want to get for him. But they’re $20 each. So he’ll only be getting 1 from me this year (hopefully I’ll remember them lol).

He told me more about his cat so I’d like to draw his cat as best I can based on what he’s said in his card or on a sheet of paper and put it in the card.

23. What was your first impression of your TC?

I knew right away that he was a very chill guy. He got cool points when he opened class by playing Nirvana songs.

24. If you could date your TC without anyone knowing, would you?

If he was into it then definitely yeah.

It’d want to go to see a band that we both like or would both be interested in at a small venue like the House of Blues. Then go walking somewhere like the beach or go to an aquarium first before going to the concert. I’d like to take him to one of my favorite restaurants that he hasn’t been to that I really wanted to have him try, or I’d like to go to one of his favorite places. Mainly go eat somewhere that’s chill so we can also chat for a while.

21. What is the nicest thing your TC has ever said to you?

It’s hard to pin it to one thing. There was that time that he complimented my outfit. Whenever he calls me a “math chick”. And whenever he reaffirms that I’ll understand the tech and principles, I just need to be patient and to go to him whenever I need help.

22. Have you ever told your TC anything you wish you hadn’t told them?

I kinda wish I hadn’t made my anxiety so apparent. I sometimes worry about what he thinks of me or that I’m a burden to him and the rest of the group. At least I haven’t made my depression show, hopefully anyway.

17. Do you know anything about your TC other students don’t know?

I’m not sure. Kinda. Like our group knows more than other random students or his own students in his classroom. The 2 other students that have been in the program longer know him better than I do of course.

18. Have you and your TC grown closer since the beginning of your relationship?

Yeah, I’d say so. But sometimes I’m not so sure. It depends on who else is around. If it’s just him, me and his coworker, then he’ll talk to me about stuff and joke around. But he’s definitely closer to other students that have known him for a year or more. And it kinda hurts sometimes to see it but I know I just need to be patient and try not to overthink shit like I tend to do a lot.

Part of me would be totally flustered and another part would be unsure of how much I should believe him since he’s drunk. But I think I’d like to play along a bit and see if I could get more information out of him and see how true it might be.
