Another in-between form and I know her look is quite different from the previous … and my idea to her is slowly building up along with the drawing, interesting experience, I really like it~ XD

Chibi Mandos

The first one might be confused. The white thing I draw above Namo is a traditional Chinese steamed bread. In Chinese pronunciation, ‘Mandos’ in English is similar to ‘steamed bread’ in Chinese (not exactly the same but similar). So I just make a little bit fun of it. And just ignore it if this doesn’t make sense to you. _(:з」∠)_

Melkor & Manwe  draft recording

I have difficulty to design Ainur form so I chose to do some kind of in-between (Ainur to the children) appearance to have a try. Then the idea just become…I don’t know, I completely understand why I decide to draw Melkor in white, but Manwe….??? I don’t really know…._(:з」∠)_

Oops, the previous one looks not OK and I checked the largest size of the image upload…yeah, mine one is definitely excessive.

So the back-up plan is to cut each character separately and put them into new canvas which are under the maximum size. The new one may looks a little bit confuse I’m sorry about that _(:з」∠)_

Olorin (Gandalf)

I try to get some base color for Gandalf’s Maiar appearance and sorry about that little thing in his hand I know it’s hard for you to see…… _(:з」∠)_

That is actually a lamp I designed for Olorin, which was given by lady Nienna for entering the hall of Mandos. The lamp is able to be ignited by blue flame after the Maiar shakes it several times. And it sails automatically to the direction which Olorin is suppose to go. (this is only my ‘fan idea’, the narrative doesn’t exist in any Tolkien’s Middlearth literature)

I was struggling about what does Gandalf’s wand look like when he shows himself as Maiar, and the lamp idea just popup 80. So…yeah, I just give a try.XDD

Celebrimbor talks about his past sometimes, which is a long history rather than a journey to a mankind. His life experiences were broad as the ocean, bright as the star, deep as the ground underneath. I just accidentally thought about it could be funny when Ainur first changed their forms into ‘children‘-like vessels, since their appearances are quite different from the elf and man.

So here I have few doodles of Melkor and Manwe again, because I only have concept (kind of) about Manwe’s Ainur-look so far. BTW I didn’t change Manwe’s appearance, just try to draw him as ‘the younger one of the brother‘ _(:з」∠)_

Although Tauriel existed as an OC, I like the interaction between her and other characters. Kili’s departing just makes me cry. No offense but he’s sooooooooooo adorable!!!! TWT
