Best post on Facebook so far for 2016.
I got a little too into Daredevil and now I want every breakfast to be like this.
Very big plans for this weekend.
City sunsets, still no snow! ❄️
Puppy kisses 💗
It might as well be called how I killed your mother. What the hell???
Loving everything about this!
Having two french bulldogs means that you get to argue about whether was just a fart or an actual poo.
Will: No that has to be a poo.
It’s officially spring!!! I just heard the ice cream truck music.
Sometimes all it takes is one person. One person to ruin your day and another person to bring it all right back around.
It can often be a challenge explaining to others what we do as photographers, whatever genre of work we may be in. But where we often struggle to explain our vocation to friends or family, in wedding photographer Chris Thornton‘s case, it was his 3-year-old son whose understanding of what his dad did as a wedding photographer wasn’t quite pieced together.
And so, he decided to put his creativity and photographic abilities to use and do what any good father would do: he put it into terms his son would not only understand, but appreciate.
What Thornton did was shoot a wedding just for his son. And who was the lucky couple to get the complimentary wedding coverage, you ask? None other than Mr. and (now) Mrs. Potato head.
This is adorable, and also the perfect opportunity to finally confess that the dancing potato is probably my favorite gif of all time.
We’ve decided to name him Henry. Daisy is finally starting to accept that he is not going away. Also, he is absolutely bananas crazy and I’ve taken to calling him the puppy monster. Yesterday on our walk he tried to eat a giant rock and also carried it half-way home, flat-out refused to leave it behind.
He sleeps through the night
He’s pretty much house broken, minus the occasional accident
The sound of his little snores are the highlight of my evening (because that means he will no longer continue to destroy things)
He cries unless we are in the same room
You have to watch him all the time because he will eat anything, I repeat anything
He doesn’t exactly know how to hang out with other dogs, he goes for cheap shots (faces/legs)
He likes to try and hump everything and he farts a lot
Already can’t live without him.
Sunday nap time. Everyone, minus me, is snoring right now. This might take some getting used to.
Good morning from our new munchkin.
Uh oh, there’s a new man in my life. Any ideas what we should name him?
Happy Valentine’s Day!!
Too much snow!
Snow day = puppy snuggles 💤🐶
More snow outside my window. I can’t believe schools are still open. Luckily we have what we need to make it through, wine and pizza!
A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only Travel in an emergency. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food. And Water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
—So are you telling me not to go to work tomorrow???
The past week has been a blur! We spent a good amount of time moving in and I’ll be honest a lot of the boxes still need to be unpacked. We started DIY renovating our kitchen four days after moving in. I had no idea how much I would enjoy working on the house. We are currently painting all of our cabinets white, adding in a farmhouse sink, and butcher block countertops. It’s going to take a while, but I promise to share pics once things get a little more settled.
More than anything else, I’m extremely happy. Our neighbors are so welcoming, and after living in Queens for the past few years I didn’t realize how much I had my guard up. People being nice just for the sake of being nice, not because they want something from you, what is that??? Overall, pretty much head-over heels in love with our community. It’s such a beautiful little town, even when it’s covered in snow. This will probably become a Beacon, NY appreciation blog starting now.
City vs. suburbs part 2:
Can I share with you the amazingness that is Cracker Barrel. If they had this place back in Queens we would’ve never been able to get a table. I know it’s a chain, but it’s so good!
Also included is Daisy staring ominously at an ever growing pile of boxes. So ready to be done with moving.
