i wish I had a library buddy, a like-minded person who would browse the library shelves with me and look for the best book treasures the library has to offer and we would always stay until closing time and then talk about our book haul in the café next door
Why did we stop with ballroom dances??? Like seriously to waltz around a room with a handsome stranger to classical music while others look at us with envy and after the music ends both of you with flushed cheeks, breathing fast, the sexual tension ; that was the shit.
do you have any prompts for writing about your paracosm? (we don't know where to start but we really want to)
oh man oh boy you think I know where to start?? ahahha no
but anyway, even though I don’t know where to start when talking about my paracosm, I usually just write whatever info comes to mind first.
hope this helps <3
Daydream about an angel falling from grace.
concept: I’m at the top of a tower during a thunderstorm. my coat billows behind me. an ominous flash of lightning illuminates me as I scream at god, daring them to strike me down, but we both know my inevitable demise will come not from god but from my own hubris. i have never felt sexier
Daydream about fighting for survival beside your paras.

some more brief facts about 🧝🏼♂️ the pure blood elf Night Star rescues
more night star content
again this is about 🧝🏼♂️ the pure blood elf that Night Star rescues from the heart of the imperial castle.
He’s not in good shape when Night Star finds him. He doesn’t even register that someone is there, someone is taking him down from his chains and getting him out of the castle. Not even when the alarms are sounded and they have to run, half-dragging 🧝🏼♂️ with them. Not when they throw themselves onto horses to make their escape, not through the raucous movement of dashing through the gates and darting out of the pathways of arrows and down streets, dodging people going about their day.
They make their escape into the forest, abandon their horses and set them free, then find one of Night Star’s tunnels (that she made with her earth powers to be able to transport rescued elves throughout the continent) and hide out for a bit before resurfacing.
They make their way back to Elfhaven, the secret underground base Night Star created beneath the last remaining kingdom not belonging to the empire. All the mixed blood elves are stunned to see a pure blood elf because even they have never seen one before. Night Star is more concerned with 🧝🏼♂️’s unresponsiveness. She can’t imagine what he must have gone through, being a captive for so long.
She takes him to a private room in the base and sets him down on the bed. She treats his injuries, and he lets her. She has the sinking feeling that he would let anyone do anything to him. She brushes the hair out of his face and looks deep in his eyes. They’re grey-blue and cloudy, like the sky before a storm. Night Star sighs sadly, and dresses his wounds.
the pure blood elf does not speak for a long time.
more night star content
this comes waaaaaaaaaaay later in the plotline, but Night Star and The Twilight Hour infiltrate the heart of the imperial castle (of the evil empire that’s capturing the elves) because they hear information that a single pure blood elf has been passed down through generations in the royal family (before the empire became an empire, it was just a regular kingdom until recently) and kept in secret, locked up in an underground dungeon.
Night Star and her crew decide to rescue the elf and have to get inside the castle. It’s very intense, but Night Star is good at escapes and being elusive, while The Twilight Hour is a professional thief and assassin so he’s good at picking locks and being stealthy.
They go down a winding spiral staircase and find, chained up in the center of a huge room lined with glowing magic stones (illegal) is a the pure blood elf they’re looking for.
The unfortunate part of this is that he’s been trapped there at the mercy of cruel humans for literal thousands of years, so he’s little more than a husk at this point and doesn’t even recognize Night Star as she approaches. (I actually started drawing this scene but it took too long so I haven’t revisited it in a while). His eyes are dead and unseeing even though he’s still alive. He was kept alive as a treasure, an ancient heirloom from a bygone era since he was captured at the end of the elven war thousands of years ago. No matter what the humans did to him, they made sure to leave him alive because they wanted a trophy.
He’s the last pure blood elf that remains in the human lands, as all the others are mixed blood and any pure blood elves that still exist are in hiding in the elven lands that humans can’t get to.
hiiiiiiiiiiii here is more night star content
I haven’t come up with names for anyone besides Night Star and The Twilight Hour yet oop so I’ll just use emojis since I saw another account doing that and it seems like a good placeholder
Need more night star content! its my current biggest fandom :) i also need the font for astra vale for my Official Organized MADD Blog™ - spencer 🐳
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa my little daydream universe is a whole fandom now??? omg 🥺 but yes, since I don’t remember what stuff I’ve uploaded and what not, I’ll just give a basic rundown of the plot and the worldbuilding.
The world itself is actually based on the Riyria Chronicles series by Michael J Sullivan because I wasn’t too thrilled with the series itself (it’s fine if you like adventure and fighting and don’t want to actually care about any of the characters because they keep dying oop) but I really liked the world in it.
Some of this is book lore, some is Night Star lore, it’s all mixed together.
[under the cut because it got long]
Basically, it’s a fantasy world where thousands of years ago, elves tried to wipe out all of humanity. They went to war against the humans and lost, and the humans took some of them as slaves while the rest escaped to a forest land where humans couldn’t reach because it was surrounded by strong waters.
Flash forward and there are no more pure blood elves living in the human lands (well, except one) and all the elves there now are mixed blood elves, the descendants of elves and humans, though the elven blood is dominant so they still have elven features like pointed ears that makes them easily identifiable as elves. They’re still hated by society, though in some places they’re free, in others they’re still enslaved. The main kingdom (which i don’t have a name for yet) is one where the elves are free, though even in places where they are free, they’re still the lowest of the low and forced to beg on the streets and live in slums.
In background politics stuff, there’s an empire run by an evil man who wants to capture all the elves and get rid of them, so he’s tasked his people to go around the entire continent (because the empire spans the entire continent except for one kingdom but that’s another story) collecting the elves and shipping them off to sea where they will be disposed of.
Alesia (Night Star) is a young mage woman who grows up on a small island off the coast of the mainland, in a secret coven full of other mages. Magic is forbidden on the mainland and the punishment for being a witch is death, so that’s why they’ve been living in secret. Alesia discovers the journal of one of their tribes seers, a woman who was the most powerful mage to ever exist (who is dead before canon starts, but had apparently taught many of the mages in the coven). In this journal, it mostly seems like nonsensical ramblings, but Alesia does find something in it that tells her that the elves are planning a second war and will try to wipe out humanity again after thousands of years of silence, once their new elven leader has been elected (which they do every three thousand years).
Alesia, fearing the destruction of all mankind, goes to the mainland to try and find a way to stop it, armed with nothing but a magical cloak, her powers, and her journal.
Unfortunately, in the journal she finds another startling note. One that tells a tale of a beast, a monster, a man with blood that runs like ice through his veins and feels nothing for anybody or anything. It has pages and pages on this one man, called The Twilight Hour, and it chills Alesia to her core. She has to stay on the mainland and avoid having her magic found out, but also try and avoid meeting The Twilight Hour.
Also unfortunately, is that she is very easily distracted. She sees the state the mainland is in, with it’s slums and gangs and people being hurt and starving and begging and being stolen from, and she decides she’s going to try and help people, as the meaning of her name is, “helper of mankind.” This is how she becomes Night Star.
She stays in a little inn in the lower quarter (the slums) so that she can be a vigilante at night and help people, like if they are being attacked by gangs or something. People start recognizing her name, whispering it at the edges of conversations. People start drawing stars on their doors, hoping for her to come and help them. She becomes known around town, for better or for worse.
One day, she saves the life of a prominent nobleman in the upper quarter from an assassination attempt. This causes the noble to put out an order to capture her because he wants her all to himself. This gets her noticed by the king, a stressed boi who’s trying his best to not have the kingdom swallowed by the giant evil empire.
Somewhere along the line she’s lost her journal, the journal of the seer. The Twilight Hour finds it and reads it, though he doesn’t know that it’s talking about him because it never refers to him by name explicitly. Night Stars ends up being captured because the inn she chose for the specific purpose of trying to hide out away from the The Twilight Hour actually happens to be his actual place of residence. where he lives. which is so funny to me even though i created it. anyway.
He finds her and literally just wants the reward money for bringing her to the king, and she sees him and is terrified because she knows who he is. He’s surprised she’s going along with him willingly when he’s seen her fight and escape before (even without using magic, she’s got good physical abilities) and he takes her to the king.
The king sees her, gives The Twilight Hour his money, and then Twilight Hour leaves, which gives Alesia the opportunity to escape. She’s still mad she doesn’t have her journal anymore tho. But she escapes the castle and the king is stunned and a little impressed.
Anyway, since this is getting long, I’ll summarize.
Night Star goes from being a vigilante to collecting all the elves around the kingdom to keep them safe and give them food and shelter, to going to collecting all the elves around the continent to keep them from being captured by the evil empire and killed. She becomes leader of an army of mixed blood elves. She has amassed thousands of them and eventually collects every mixed blood elf on the entire continent. She also finds the last pure blood elf left in the human lands (not counting the pure blood elves that fled at the end of the war thousands of years ago, but those aren’t considered human lands since the elves live there) deep in the heart of the evil empire’s castle. There’s a whole bunch more stuff, like how she saves the king from an invasion and takes him to stay with her army, how she causes a tsunami and tears a man limb from limb with her magic, and also how she joins forces with The Twilight Hour.
oh, and the font for the Astra Vale banner is called “Leaves and Ground”
