I just thought of something in Deltarune. You know how the Darkners say the Lightners locked them away and forgot about them? What if the Dark World is just a place where things that are dead or discarded in the Light World come to life? Cuz, remember, Kris and Susie came from the Dark World into an unused classroom, littered with an old stuffed toy that looks suspiciously like Seam, and a lot of scattered cards and chess pieces.

Which might help to explain why Kris appears to turn into Chara at the end. What if Chara’s SOUL, after the events in UT, somehow got trapped in the Dark World and infected Kris while Kris was there?

And Gaster. It’s clearly Gaster during the vessel creation. How’d he get in here? Unless he’s from the Dark World?

It also explains Ralsei. You know, I’ve found that I’m not the only one who thinks it sucks that Asriel doesn’t get a happy ending in the True Pacifist run. Maybe the Dark World gave him a second chance? Cuz Ralsei even says he’s a prince with no subjects. And there’s no further background on where he came from.

It’s just a hypothesis. And I know, it’s probably dead wrong. Toby already made it clear, he’s done with UT, this is a whole different universe, however we left Undertale is how it’s gonna stay. There probably will never be some big UT/DR crossover like what I just suggested.

Still… it’d be awesome if there was….

So you know how many deep sea creatures have bioluminescence? Well, since Darkners spend most of their time in the dark, I have now arbitrarily decided that most Darkner species have bioluminescent elements so you can see them glowing ominously in the distance. I mean, Jevil already seems to have eyelights like Sans, why not have Seam’s button eyes glow or the ruddins’ diamond patterns or Lancer and the Spade King’s stomach spade things? And yes, I’ve decided this for no other reason than because I like glowy things. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
