i’m mad so this isn’t gonna make sense.

brittana were the most neglected couple. they didn’t get to act affectionate, they barely got any kisses, both of their sexualities were trivialised, and they didn’t even get their own fucking wedding. wlw literally get nothing. there was ONE other canon wlw character and she was biphobic and barely got any screen time anyway. if you showed someone her scenes with santana they would barely be able to guess that they were dating. the artie storyline was stupid. britt wants santana to be with her, santana is hesitant because internalised lesbophobia, britt is upset so she gets with artie but doesn’t love him, britt helps santana come to terms with her sexuality and santana admits that she loves britt. AND THEN BRITT REJECTS HER??? that was so unrealistic, britt never loved artie and would never choose him over santana. wlw got fucking nothing. we got FOUR brittana duets, even though they were in (some form of) relationship in EVERY FUCKING SEASON. i’m so sick of us getting no representation OR shit and lacklustre representation. if naya hadn’t have pushed for brittana we literally would’ve gotten nothing beyond jokes. AND EVEN WITH ALL THIS. people still shit on wlw who find comfort in them, and act like we’re over reacting when we talk about issues. what the fuck

also in s3, after I Kissed A Girl the only wlw centric storyline was that throwaway sextape one that wasn’t even well resolved and rooted in sexualising wlw relationships

Aaaand this is why i hate ryan murphy, he focused all the attention only on the mlms and heteros without developing wlw storylines, i’m not saying he shouldn’t have given us mlm representation, but it would have been nice if he gave to sapphic characters the same attention he gave to mlms and straight characters/ships.

okay, since I started watching The Wilds I’ve noticed some similarities between Adora - Shelby and Catra - Toni.

first, we have Adora and Shelby. They are both repressed from being who they are, Adora to fulfill a destiny and Sheby for her religiosity.

and then we have Catra and Toni. Both have this abandonment issues and the thought that they do not matter, also has excessive anger …
