hey, if you have a friend with a disability/chronic pain, here’s a helpful tip! /gen
there’s a phenomenon in chronic pain patients where they don’t express pain the same way people who don’t experience chronic pain do. if we reacted to all level 5/10 pain like everyone else, we’d be exhausted constantly because it takes a lot of energy to scream and cry.
sometimes, a pain response looks like shutting down. for me, i tighten up, my breathing gets more labored and intentional, and i tend to move very little. if you have a friend with chronic pain and you notice these cues, ask them if they’re okay and what they need. if they need to be left alone, leave em alone. if they need support, support them. if they need meds or to be taken somewhere else, do that. trust me, they would appreciate it very much.
For her, beauty only came in the things that she could touch. The feel of silky flower petals between her finger tips, and with it came the intoxicating smells sprouted from the disruption of the pollen beneath her fingers. This is the closest to visualising true beauty she could imagine. The sweet scent of honeysuckle felt most like home, the heady fragrance most potent in the dimming light, thriving in the darkness, as she did in her own world- although her world was not entirely black, the sentiment comforted her.
August Walker x Unnamed OFC (can be read as reader too as no names are mentioned)
This story features Soft!August and a blind reader/unnamed ofc.
*important disclaimer: this story is not intended to offend or portray any kind of ableism, i simply wanted to branch out to be inclusive to other people. the intention is not to romantise disability or impairments. as always, please tell me if there’s anything i can do better.
Warnings: smut
Word Count: 1.2k (a very short one for me, wow)
A/N: this one came to me after i misread a message from @littlefreya that was about August taking reader on a blind date. I totally misread as “blind reader” and then she and @iloveyouyen proceeded to tell me to write it😅 took me like 3 weeks to figure it out, but here it is!

What i love about this artist’s depictions of women is even the sexualized ones the woman is always genuinely happy and enjoying herself. Frolicking or making funny faces, she’s living her life and looking sexy while doing it, not sitting in a sexual pose for the audience’s view.
I always forget about Hilda and am so pleased when she randomly shows up on my dash. Always makes my day
I love Hilda so much and I want her to be happy
more Hilda!
I freaking love Hilda, there’s needs to be more art like this.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REBLOG THE FUCK OUT OF THIS BRO
the only colors available after a c cup are white, brown, black, and for those special occasions…fluorescent orange.
As a former employee of Victoria’s Secret, I can attest to this being the truth. Good luck finding a good DD bra in any section other than the Body By Victoria nude colors section.
You know what was my first tought when i lost weight and my boobs were a little smaller?

I swear by Elomi. Fun colors, sizes that actually fit! And you can sometimes get them on sale, which is even better.
(Do take note the difference in cup sizes between US/EU sizing.)
May I recommend Bravissimo? I got the best fitting of my LIFE at their Chelsea, NYC store, and they have all kinds of bras for big-boobed women. My boobs have never been happier or prettier.
For anyone who may need it!

I’m as flat-chested as a cis girl gets, but here’s for my big boobie friends ❤️
On recommendation I got a couple bras from Brastop! Looooong-ass delivery time (I’m in the US) but I got a couple cute bras now!
and in a real pinch, get white bc i can firsthand tell you that idye poly (for synthetic fabrics) works really well to dye my own at home any colour i want. my size is a weird one on the small end that most people don’t even make, so I too get the white/black/weird beige?? option set… and that’s about it. So yeah. Not great, but I’ve become like… the queen of stitching on embroidery, beading, re-dyes, etc. to stuff like this. Shouldn’t have to but I understand that there probably isn’t enough of a market for some of us in a specific size for a specific colour or fit, so it isn’t profitable to have a huge factory make a thing.
At least NOW there’s youtube to show me how to do stuff, unlike teaching myself how to do this in my teenage years when I had to literally restructure entire bras by experiment because no one made a 24B or whatever, and yet “female-assigned” and over 15 demanded I wore one Or Else.
If i can pass on just one piece of advice in this life, it would be, and i cannot stress this enough, DO NOT buy a limited edition scented candle. Because you will fall in love with the scent and then it’ll sell out and you’ll never be able to buy it ever again.
