    Question:

I respectfully disagree. If it’s not dumb, like people not reading tags and then going eww this trope or eww this ship, and it’s written respectfully without insulting the writer then I think criticism should always be allowed. I think it’s important to hone a skill to be told where or how you could do better, corrections and suggestions help people to improve. I do not want the people around me to be all little yes men that say only nice things. That’s my humble opinion.

    Answer:

Cool. Then say on your fics that you welcome criticism. But if a person doesn’t say that, then you don’t leave con crit.

Do you know what I do for a living? I’m a college professor and an academic editor. I actually am professionally qualified to help people hone their skills and to improve. For example, there are at least 4 things I would edit in the ask you sent me. Not the least of which is having the guts to own your opinion by not being on anon.

But you know what I do with all the professional skills I have when I read fanfic which is a hobby and a joy for everyone who engages in it? I keep my fucking mouth shut.

Because as I tell my students to be creative and share it with the world is an act of bravery. And when we are being brave, we don’t need to be ‘corrected’ by strangers, we need to be applauded for risking ourselves.

I have never felt better about someone correcting me on a fic on ao3, I’ve never improved from it, I’ve only felt like crap, and any other writer I talk to feels the same. I got better as a writer because I wrote again and again every day. And when I engage a beta, I listen to their advice because I can trust where it is coming from. A rando whose decided they know what they are on about? I don’t trust for shit.

If you leave UNSOLICITED criticism on fanfic you suck and are a crappy person.

    In my humble opinion.

In the Dark (Loki/Reader Lullabies #76)

    grufflepuff-writes-stuff :

    Fandom: Marvel/Avengers

    Pairing: Loki/Female Reader

    Category: Fluff. Fluff without plot.

    Rating: G.

Summary: Wanda convinces you to join a spur-of-the-moment pajama party and you, despite your misgivings, go. But so does Loki.

Warnings/Notes: This is a very very early request. Before I started posting these stories, or around the first few posts, I reblogged a “Non-Sexual Forms of Intimacy” meme and I think someone (an anonymous user? I didn’t write down a username, sorry) requested “seeing each other dressed-down/in pajamas for the first time.” This one leans heavily on the 2012 Stark Tower Happy Family kinds of tropes buuuut I like it. It’s definitely more in-your-head than outright cuddly, though.

    In the Dark

    image

It was, all things considered, maybe one of your silliest hangups. Especially here in the Tower. The others walked around in their pajamas without a single problem. Those who wore pajamas, anyway. You got the sense that Tony always slept either in his clothes from the day before or possibly naked. But others wore their pajamas into the kitchen in the mornings, and no one seemed to have a problem with it.

    Question:

hey! did you watch the series? i'm - <screams>

    Answer:

No, I haven’t watched it. I know how I like to consume media now, which means that I’m going to stick with crying over the gifsets and Tumblr posts for a while until I can watch at least a few episodes in one sitting. I’ve already seen enough to break my heart and make me want to love on that Loki in person more than I ever thought possible, though. Aaaaaaaggghhhh.

    grufflepuff-writes-stuff :

Every day I scroll through my dash and see the writers I follow (some friends, some idols, some BOTH, all important and all writers) dealing with all kinds of nasty and rude anonymous messages and it just exhausts me. Is secondhand exhaustion a thing?

Kind anonymous messages are lovely. I have a huge collection of them tagged with “read when sad” because they do SO MUCH to make you feel so good. But a single mean/rude/nasty comment is enough to drown out all the good. Is that a quirk of the human brain or just a quirk of MY human brain? I don’t know.

If you’ve ever sent me a lovely anonymous message, thank you.  If you’ve ever sent anyone a lovely anonymous message, thank you. I’m sorry that I’ve had anonymous messages turned off for so long on this blog but…I’m never going back. I turned it off mostly for my own heart and my own mental health but also kind of for you? Because, if it’s so easy for a single anonymous “u suck lol kys” message to negate aaaaaalllllll your kind words, that’s not fair.

Please keep up the good fight, senders of anonymous love! If you’re seeing this, please consider sending some anonymous love right now. Go remind your favorite writer how wonderful they are. Go remind the most recent writer on your dash that they’re changing the world with their words. Sprinkle your short, sweet, precious anonymous messages all throughout the inboxes of Tumblr to make up for the beasts who do the opposite!

    Question:

Congratulations Sam! I'm seriously so happy for you 💖💖💖

So I've been trying to figure out what to request from you and I think I'd like the dialog prompt: Don’t look at them. Look at me.

As for the pairing.... female reader please but I'll give you options for the other. Just pick whoever inspires you most out of this list because I can't decide. Sorry!

Either Poe Dameron, Boba Fett, or Rex

Thank you bb! And congratulations again 💖💕💗💘💝

    Answer:

Tess, my beautiful friend! Thank you love, I’m so ridiculously glad I know you! You have one of the sweetest souls on the planet.

And thanks for your prompt! I decided to go with Poe for a bit of a change, because I received a few prompts for the other two.

    Pairing: Poe Dameron x F!Reader
    Word Count: 2.1k
    Rating: Explicit 18+
C/W: Voyeurism, oral sex (f receiving), vaginal fingering, language
This ended up accidentally being a loose continuation of this fic, but it’s not at all necessary for you to have read that in order to read this.

Your knuckles are white around your X-wing’s throttle lever, your body thrown as far back as the seat will allow. Your spread knees shake with adrenaline, mind racing. You don’t know how the fuck you ended up in such a dangerous situation. But now you’re here, there’s nothing you can do but ride it out.

The Heart Asks for Love First

Summary: Pregnant and alone, you’re in love with a man who doesn’t love you back. [Angst with a happy ending and explicit sex, 18+]

    Pairing: Bucky x Reader

    Word Count: 2.2K

Author’s Note: This was written for @sweetlyscared’s 1K follower challenge. I dug deep into my personal well of sadness for you and I hope this fic emotionally destroys you in the best way possible.  Thank you @whisperlullaby and @dark-side-of-the-marvelous-moon for your beta work! Reblog or comment if you enjoy!

You stare at the two identical blue lines. It’s the third pregnancy test you’ve taken and each one has been the same as the last.

Joy is the first thing you feel, a strange swooping sensation in your gut but doubt and fear come quickly after. You’ve only been seeing Bucky for eight months and even then it wasn’t exactly like you were really dating. It started out as something fun and casual, a little game that thrilled and excited you, but you’re not having fun anymore. Somewhere between the stolen moments in storage closets and furtive touches under the table, you fell in love with a man who didn’t love you back.

God, this was just exquisite. There’s no other word for it. I was bracing myself for a drawn-out story full of angst and regret, but then this brave, precious reader had the courage to tell him right away? And the way he responded?! I love this story so much. It is heartfelt and yearning and poignant, and all of those things also suffuse the smutty bits to make it all so perfect. Thank you for writing this, and thank you for sharing it. Oh, man.

    warnings: mentions of torture, nightmares

author’s note: So I’ve seen a lot of fics of Bucky waking up as the winter soldier after a nightmare, but I was curious… what happens if he wakes up as a different version of himself?

    image

Sometimes, what ripped you from your sleep in the early hours of the morning, while the sun hung below the tree, wasn’t the kind of paralyzing, heart-wrenching scream that could tear through you like a knife. It wasn’t always sprinting down the hall at two in the morning or violent shaking, evading swinging fists and broken table lamps.

Sometimes, it was restless movements while he slept; tossing and turning, mumbling under his breath, words that would shatter your heart with every broken ache in his voice. Sometimes, it was clinging to you in his sleep, tears wet on his cheeks, sweat dampening the sheets under him. It was the kind of fear that left a lingering, unsettled feeling long beyond he opened his eyes.

Hey, lovelies, if any of you have received general anesthesia for wisdom teeth removal (or any dental surgery, really) could you pls message me to tell me what waking up was like? Was anyone allowed in the room with you before you were awake again? I’ve got a big-ass jaw so my wisdom teeth all fit inside perfectly so I didn’t need an extraction. Help?

    Fandom: Marvel/Avengers

    Pairing: Loki/Female Reader

    Category: Angst, then Fluff

    Rating: G.

Summary: You ask Loki for the one thing he cannot bring himself to give you. Slowly, he comes around.

Warnings/Notes: A lovely anon requested the story of the first time that Loki showed you his Joutnn side, and then @hiddles-and-skittles requested it too, so I did my best! This is one of the longer lullabies, so I hope it doesn’t keep you awake too long!

    A Light in the Heart

You were the one to bring it up. Otherwise, it was a perfectly lovely night. You were curled up beside him with your head on his shoulder. You traced ticklish patterns against his belly and he was trying to decide whether to cover your hand with his to make you stop, or tickle you in return. And then you’d asked him about it, in a voice so soft and sweet that it contrasted sharply against just what it was that you were asking.

The Great Imposter (Loki/Reader Lullabies #190)

    Fandom: Marvel/Avengers

    Pairing: Loki/Female Reader

    Category: Fluff. Fluff without plot.

    Rating: G.

Summary: As a non-superpowered normal little human, it’s hard to feel like you really belong on the same team as the rest of the Avengers. But someone’s got their eyes on you.

Warnings/Notes: Ah, beware: the reader gets stabbed in this one. There’s no death or anything, but watch out for the injury! This one isn’t super-fluffy! For most of the story, it’s more angsty and self-deprecating than warm and cozy. I am, however, kind of proud of the dialogue for once? I don’t know that I’d call it witty or anything, but I do feel like I’ve managed to catch a certain spark in the things these two say to each other. Also (as per usual), Loki is secretly in love with you and you have no idea, so make of that what you will!

    The Great Imposter

Every last thing about you was a lie.

That’s what it felt like, anyway, being who you were in a Tower full of Avengers. You weren’t strong like Steve or Bucky. You weren’t brilliant like Tony or Bruce. You weren’t gorgeous (or deadly) like Natasha, and you definitely didn’t have super powers like Wanda or Thor or Loki. Hell, for all the good-natured grumbling Clint did about being a mere archer on a team of superheroes, it was his sense of humor that kept things light even when darkness pressed in around everybody else, and his analytical thinking was unmatched by anyone else. Most of the time, you felt like a little kid in the Tower, maybe one of those school groups that sometimes came by for a field trip. Surely, any minute now, someone was going to realize that you weren’t supposed to be here and try to get in touch with some third-grade teacher somewhere.

To be fair, you did have some skills. You were at least as well-trained as any other basic SHIELD agent. You could fight your way out of a bad situation if you had to. You could make yourself fade into the background so people’s eyes were less likely to land on you. But any time you started to feel a little too good about yourself, all it took was a few minutes of watching the Black Widow work to remind you of who you were. She didn’t need to fade into the background. She tended to draw everybody’s attention, and then she used it against them in a way that inevitably made them wish they hadn’t been born.

You avoided socializing with the others as much as you could, because you knew that your discomfort only made you act weird and awkward. Thankfully, they didn’t seem to notice your absences. Why would they? When someone was hanging out with Captain America and Thor, how on Earth could they possibly miss someone like you?

Now, a significant portion of the blame was on you. They didn’t know much about you. They didn’t know anything true about you. That was how you liked it. No one in your current life needed to know about where your life had actually begun, and how you came to get here. You kept a lot under wraps, partially out of personal preference and partially out of necessity. On the rare occasion that you did spend time with the group, you couldn’t shake the feeling that too many of their eyes were studying you from a distance. Natasha knew damn well that there was something Off about you. She made you the most nervous. She had an innate understanding of people and their motivations, it felt like, if she got too close a look at you, she could figure out your entire tragic backstory just from the way you looked back at her.

Loki was similar in that regard. His eyes cut right through you when he bothered to look your way—which wasn’t often. That suited you just fine. Maybe it was just because you knew that he wasn’t human, but he seemed a lot more dangerous than Natasha. Like he could see more and understand more about you just by looking at you. You did your best never to meet his eyes, and if you could avoid being in the same room as him altogether, you did. You weren’t stupid. You knew that it made you look like you were afraid of him, probably because of his own origin story, but the only way to clear that up would be to tell him too much about your actual motivations. It chafed a little, having to pretend to be like all the other frightened humans on the planet, but you did it.

But maybe he could see through that just as easily as everything else about you. Over time, he started to gravitate towards you more and more. You drew the line at hiding yourself away in your room all the time, and you definitely weren’t going to jump up and run away every time he joined you in one of the common spaces. He began to take advantage of that. Sometimes you’d look up from your book or your phone in one of the living rooms and realize that, at some point, he’d taken a seat across the room to read his own book. Or you’d be cooking something in the kitchen and he’d reach past you to take the kettle to heat it for tea. Every time you noticed something like that, you’d catch the way he was very pointedly not actually looking at you. It was all an act. You took to shooting him a tight smile before going back to whatever it was that you were doing.

He started talking to you. Loki did not strike you as someone overly fond of small talk, or…really fond of talking in general, but he started asking you questions. They started out rather benign: what were you reading, how was your mission, why weren’t you at Thor’s dreadful movie night? But over time they became more personal.

    How are you?

    Did you sleep well?

Why don’t you speak to the others?

It was hard to lie to him, and not just because early humans had considered him the God of Lies. For some reason, he seemed interested in what you had to say, so it just felt wrong to say things that were lies. Instead, you tended to offer overly-brief answers, always tempered with a sheepish smile as though in hopes of keeping him from giving up altogether. It was hard to say why you cared about whether he kept all this up, except that maybe some small part of you was lonely and desperate for whatever social interaction you could get.

The first time you slipped and mentioned something from your past—your real past—it was impossible to miss the way his eyes suddenly flashed with interest. There was no way you could pass that off as a misunderstanding. Your file said that your parents died when you were young, when, in truth, they were hale and hearty—and loud and abusive—until the day you finally got up the courage to run away from home. He didn’t press you for an explanation about the discrepancies in your stories, but he did sit forward in his seat, book forgotten on the arm of the chair, and ask you questions about your parents themselves.

Shitty parents, it turned out, were not just a human phenomenon.

Loki felt like the kind of person you could probably trust with the truth about your early home life, but that didn’t mean that you wanted to tell him everything. Nobody needed to know everything.

Never in a million or more years did you ever think that it would happen this way, but Loki started getting you to hang out more with the others. Make no mistake: it was still incredibly rare for him to go to any of the so-called team-bonding exercises, but when Thor dragged Loki along, invariably he dragged you along. You made sure not to plaster yourself to his side, because that was ridiculous but also uncomfortable, and all too often you’d be in the middle of telling a story—a lie—to one of the others, and you’d look up to see Loki smirking at you from across the room. He just knew. You wanted so badly to glare at him every time you caught him, but of course whoever you were talking to would be sure to catch it. Maybe Loki knew about that, too, because often his smile would break open even wider before you finally forced yourself to look away.

By a sheer stroke of luck—or lack thereof—the two of you were thrust into a mission together. It was kind of a big deal for Loki, even though you knew he’d never agree. But it was definitely his first time out in the field without Thor to babysit. There just really wasn’t an excuse to send Thor along with the two of you. The mission called for stealth, not Thor-sized muscles and personality. You hacked your way into a minor offshoot of HYDRA and Loki magicked himself into a base that was supposed to be abandoned.

Neither of you had much warning before all hell broke loose. Loki was dead silent as he made his way through the base, but he did let out a tiny “Hm” before his com cut out and dissolved into static. You called his name several times, each time slightly louder and more shrill, before rising to your feet. As you dashed across the field, you thanked every last deity you could remember for having decided to set up shop so close to the base. It was a sprint to get to where you’d last heard from Loki, but at least it wasn’t a marathon.

One good thing: There were no sirens going off. Sirens were bad. Sirens were official, and they summoned the Big Bads, you knew that much. If someone hadn’t triggered the alarms, it was possible that they weren’t actually HYDRA. One foolish, overly-optimistic thought bubbled up through the panic in your mind: maybe he hadn’t been attacked by anyone at all. Maybe he just saw a cat or something and turned off his earpiece because he didn’t want you to know how he baby-talked to cats.

But of course you knew better than that, so you didn’t stop running.

You heard the fight before you saw it. Blows landing, men grunting, the sickening sounds of knives through flesh. It sounded like there were a lot of people fighting, which kind of torpedoed your little fantasy about Loki coming across a single homeless person. When you finally turned the corner and saw the spectacle, you went numb for a minute.

They weren’t HYDRA, that was for sure, but they were something. Every person attacking Loki wore the same uniform, and every one of them moved with the same deadly precision. He didn’t look up from what he was doing. How could he, and still stay alive?

When you finally unfroze, you joined the fray before you could think about it. There was no other option but to attack these people and bring them down before they could get to your teammate. You were pleased to note that, though they were frustratingly agile and carried entirely too many little hidden weapons, they didn’t hit very hard. If you could keep away from their hands, you could take them out.

But they just. Kept. Coming. No matter how many bodies began to litter the floor, it felt like the bodies that were attacking you never dwindled. To fight the cool dread that was creeping in, you started spitting out bad lines from action movies. “You call that a punch? My mother hits harder than that. Cool knife, where’s the rest of it? I have had it with these motherfucking scumbags in this motherfucking base!”

That last one may have been the last straw for Loki, unfortunately, who gave an especially-loud sigh as he took out the scumbag who was trying to gut him and flung him towards you. “Would you shut up?”

You finished the agent off for him and then tried to shoot Loki a cheesy grin, but he wasn’t looking at you, busy as he was with his side of the fight. Maybe that made you feel a little guilty: if you had the mental space or the breath to be goofing off like this, you weren’t fighting as hard as you should have been. So you bit the inside of your cheek and tried to refocus your energy on what you were supposed to be doing.

So naturally the very next agent managed to sink his blade deep into your side.

You growled and started to pull it out, but then thought better of it. That must have surprised him. You took advantage of his momentary pause to wipe him out, and then to use him to knock down another one. The tide was turning. No one new had joined the fray in a while now, and their luck was finally starting to run out. Although your brand-new wound made it a little trickier to move quickly and efficiently, the two of you were the last ones standing.

Loki was downright regal. He barely had to catch his breath as he stood there glaring at all the fallen agents, and he only had to comb his fingers through his hair once or twice to make it look as perfect as ever. You, on the other hand…you were panting like you’d never so much as heard the word cardio. Already the pain in your stomach was growing and surging, which struck you as rather unfair. Adrenaline was supposed to last longer than this, wasn’t it?

Your hand came down to rest of the hilt of the knife again. It was hard to resist pulling it out now that you didn’t have more pressing concerns. You knew it’d be stupid and that it’d make you bleed out faster, but you just wanted it gone.

“Why did you come here?” It was Loki’s voice, cool and low in the dank darkness of the room. “I thought you were supposed to be waiting for me outside. I don’t need the protection of a Midgardian.”

You couldn’t keep from snorting at that. “Your com went out, you asshole.”

Almost instinctively, his hand went to his ear, but then he scanned the floor amongst the bodies and shrugged. “It must have fallen out. It was stupid of you to come here.”

What was it about hearing someone else say the mean things that you often said to yourself that made them that much worse to hear? You rolled your eyes and covered your face with your hands. “Alright, great. Did you get what we came here for? Can we leave now?”

But he didn’t answer. You gave him a moment, just in case the fight did something to his mind, but when he still didn’t say anything, you lowered your hands. He was looking at the knife. Feeling a little too exposed for your liking, you went to cover it with your hand again to shield it from his view, but he lunged at you and yanked your wrist away.

“Don’t pull it out,” he spat. His grip was crushing. You didn’t bother to try to pull away.

“I wasn’t going to pull it out. I’m not an idiot.”

“Well it seems to me that only an idiot would blunder into an enemy base without any idea of where they were going or what awaited them.” God, why did he sound so angry? It wasn’t like you’d really had a choice. Was he the type of agent who constantly needed his ego stroked if he ever needed backup? Just the thought of that was exhausting.

“Are you telling me that you knew all about this team of fucking weirdos who were in here waiting for you, and you still let Fury send you in all alone?” You tried not to wince when you heard the way your voice wavered. The blood loss was getting kind of extreme, after all.

Loki did look almost sheepish for a moment, there, but then his face went hard again. “I’m not the one who just got stabbed. You could have been killed!”

You snorted before you could stop yourself. If he were anyone else, or if you were, you might have said that he actually sounded distraught at the idea of that. “Yeah, tragedy of tragedies. However would the people of Earth recover from the loss of the Avenger’s C-Team IT Nerd?” You knew your place. You knew who you were. Maybe Loki just hadn’t been around you long enough to figure it out for himself. Just give it time.

Without warning, he grabbed your face in his hands, gripping your cheeks and tilting your head backwards to force you to look up at him. His eyes were burning with something like rage, and it made your heart leap into your throat. What was he doing? You reached up to claw at his wrists, but he didn’t budge.

“You are a fool. If you can’t see what’s right in front of you, then—you’re a fool. I don’t even know where to begin to try to correct all the stupid things you’ve said. Me. Your ancestors called me Loki Silvertongue and you’ve stopped up all my words.” He sounded angry, which should have made you want to shrink away from him, but there was just something in the way he was glaring at you that made you think that he wasn’t angry at you specifically. You watched as his face softened—but only a little. He loosened his grip on your face—but only a little—and then let out a long, slow breath. “In truth, I would not recover from losing you.” He said it simply, but the honesty in his tone was unmistakable.

You were both filthy: smeared in dirt and blood and sweat. Everything hurt. You really just wanted to go home and get medical care so you could get this knife out of you. But looking at him, turning his words over in the back of your mind, made it possible for you to laugh. It was your turn to tighten your grip on him now, mostly to keep him from yanking his hands away from you, and you had to fight hard to regain control over yourself so you could explain.

“No—it’s, Loki. Come on. You’re the God of Lies and I’m the Great Imposter. It’s funny. It’s—it’s a little bit funny. Isn’t it?”

He did not respond in words, but a begrudging smile twitched at the corners of his mouth before he scooped you carefully into his arms to carry you out of there.

I took a nap in the living room today because it was too hot to do anything else and because it’s Sunday, and when I woke up I legitimately couldn’t tell if my water bottle’s lid was just slightly-not shut or if I sweat THAT MUCH and got the couch THAT WET. :(

I know that it’s not canon (at least, I think it’s not canon) but I’m going to spend the summer headcanoning that Loki runs much cooler than humans AND that he can play around with the temperature of his body because his lovely human Reader’s apartment’s air is on the fritz and she/they just needs to sprawl out on his big lovely chest and whine about how hot it is.

Maybe that’ll be next week’s Lullaby. It’s going to be super hot all week, and I’ll be stuck in my stifling classroom.

    A Never-Dwindled Dawn (Loki/Reader Lullabies #73)

    grufflepuff-writes-stuff :

    Fandom: Marvel/Avengers

    Pairing: Loki/Female Reader

    Category: Fluff. Fluff without plot.

    Rating: G.

Summary: Loki finds that he rather likes lazing around in bed with you.

Warnings/Notes: This is another little piece for my Loki’s Lullabies collection–plotless little fluff-bombs meant to (hopefully!) help you sleep, or at least feel alright.  If there’s a specific action or line of dialogue that you’d like to read, please don’t be afraid to message it to me!

    A Never-Dwindled Dawn

Ordinarily, Loki was not one for lazing about in bed. When he woke up in the morning, he always preferred to get up immediately and get on with the day. It wasn’t so much that he felt any special need to get up and tackle some mundane to-do list or anything, but it felt pointless. He’d just never liked lying around in the morning when he could have been up and moving. Even if he tried to close his eyes and drift off back to sleep, his mind would cycle through a thousand thoughts a minute until he finally pulled himself out of bed and found a way to distract himself. So when he woke up, he got up, even if his body felt like it needed a little more sleep.

    A thought, lol.

It’s a little bit odd to me, to read all these gorgeous reader-inserts where the dude calls his reader something soft and sweet like “bunny”* when I know full well that my gross self looks more like a toad.

*Seriously though, never stop this. Idk if it’s a widespread thing but I follow a LOT of brilliant writers who use “bunny” a LOT and I love it.

    grufflepuff-writes-stuff :

Ugh, I’ve got a dirty smutty little plot-bunny in my head (honestly, really just a scene–not even part of a plot) but I’m not sure it’s the type of plot-bunny that I would ever actually finish but maybe it could be so I’m torn between saving it to write this summer (when I’m not seeing kids every weekday and therefore when I feel less gross about writing smut) and finding one of the authors that I follow and dropping it into their ask box.

A Tragedy: I have forgotten what this smutty plot bunny was.

Make Things Right (Loki/Reader Lullabies #72)

    Fandom: Marvel/Avengers

    Pairing: Loki/Female Reader

    Category: Fluff. Fluff without plot.

    Rating: G.

Summary: When the Avengers’ darling reveals something about herself, can Loki make it right?

Warnings/Notes: Someone requested a lullaby in which the reader is touch-starved and has a kind of breakdown, and here we are! If you’ve got something you’d like to read, please don’t be afraid to message it to me, but please also keep in mind that my mental state is halfway fucked right now so, a lot of the time, my main priority is stuff that I, personally, want to read/write. But I’m making a list of all your requests! I wanna do them!

    Make Things Right

It was, Loki believed, vitally important that he keep it very quiet, how much you intrigued him. You’d arrived in the Tower not long after he had. Of course he started out by resenting you. The others, they took you under their wings immediately. Stark raved about your creative mind. Romanoff insisted on taking charge of your training. Barnes and Rogers grinned and winked at you and called you “Sweetheart” and “Doll”, and you laughed sweetly each time they did. You exchanged fleeting glances and shy smiles with Banner for ages before either of you worked up the nerve to speak to each other, and then you were fast friends. You were the absolute darling of the Avengers. Even Thor began to ramble on and on at Loki about how kind you were, and smart, and how much Loki would like you if he’d just give you a chance.
