During one of the last times I saw my great-grandma, she gave me this jewelry box of hers. She said she wanted me to have it. Ever since, I’ve kept it on the nightstand by my bed. She also had tons of old photo albums at her house that I’d pour through every time I visited her. Once in a while, I’d make off with a picture because I knew no one else really looked at them and I cherish the memories so much. The photograph pictured is her and my great-grandpa. He was an amazing man. It brings me comfort to know they’re together again. I love you both, Grandma and Grandpa Cornell. ∞
