So I made these for the tree at work that we’re putting up next week.
If I get time I have an idea about some reindeer but we’ll see.
I got a craft advent calendar from the warehouse. There are 12 so we’re going to do one every other day.
They’re very silly but also I love him look at that face!

CALL THE PIRIHIMANA
I love her.
Is there a word for that like, “bright darkness” you get in winter?? When it’s been snowing or it’s supposed to snow past sunset and the sky isn’t Dark Enough. One of my favorite things
Thanks to @raindropwindow and a handful of articles, it’s called snow albedo, skyglow, snowglow, or just light scattering! It’s the result of moon- or artificial light reflecting off ground snow, low clouds, or ice crystals.
[ID: Four photos demonstrating the phenomenon described above. Each photo shows a scene in which it has snowed heavily, with the ground and all objects covered in a thick white layer. In the pictures, the sky is pale gray rather than dark, and the surroundings appear to be relatively brightly lit. End ID.]
That’s a cone.
Someone sunbathing by the gumboots this morning.
Summer feasts! I hope you plan to have some. I was thinking how wonderful summer is. Maybe because I’m watching all the interesting plants and trees and animals and bugs thrive. And it’s good to see everyone enjoying it, stretching out and relaxing when they can. I think of summer holidays as a child, the freedom and endless days and fun and sun and green and sea and wonder.
I’m still wading through website reworking, I’m taking my sweet time. My shop is also down but I’ll let you know when it’s back up - thanks for your patience 🌞
You know how sometimes you have a dumb idea that works out?
And sometimes you have to turn that idea into toast because toast is the only way to improve most things.
I have spent a lot of this evening picturing someone on the tube sitting quietly, headphones in, standard commuter. But they have one of those MASSIVE Toblerones across their lap.
Where are they going? Who is it for? Is there a special occasion, or did they buy it for themselves on a whim? Or did someone give it to them? Do they like Toblerones, or are they pondering what to do with the thing?
In another vein, why can’t I remember what a Toblerone is even though I can perfectly picture the exact package you mean?
What are they listening to? Are they really a standard commuter or are they going somewhere out of the ordinary and they brought the Toblerone as a housewarming present?
Holly this is killing me
I don’t know what they’re listening to my point of view is as another commuter. I can hear the noises of the tube. There’s no one sitting in the two seats next to them because the Toblerone sticks out both sides. They have the giant Toblerone because it seemed like the best kind of ridiculous thing to bring home.
