Shopping at Isis Books & Gifts
I visited Isis Bookstore in Denver, yesterday. I’ve been there before but had a really good experience and wanted to share with you.
There crystal selection is really good! The prices are a little higher, compared to other stores in town, but not by too much.
And then they have a WALL OF TAROT CARDS and it doesn’t even hold all their decks!
They have a lovely and large oil mixing station
I also got a reading from April, who was wonderful and directed me to some Masters of Ascension that want to work with me.
If you are in Denver, check them out! You will have a good time looking around and will sure to find answers to your questions.

“Yes or no” and “should or shouldn’t I…” questions are common among receivers of tarot readings. However, when followed by a one-card pull, they don’t always yield the clearest results. 👯
In fact, some readers will not answer “yes or no” questions. Others read an upright card as “yes” and a reversal as “no”, or resort to pendulums and other methods.
Here is my favorite approach: pull a card for each option (e.g. do and don’t), then compare and contrast your interpretation of each card. You can interpret them as quickly or as deeply as you prefer.
This simple, clear and in-depth method has never failed me. 🙌
Do you have a favorite?
💯I love this method a lot actually. Opens up the reading to many more possibilities to investigate and further conversation.
a tarot spread for ostara.
1. The Soil.
Where have you grown? While it most certainly is the dawn of a new day, keep in mind your roots are proof that you have already come a long way. The soil is your past. What lesson can you learn from days gone by?
2. The Weed.
You wish to flourish and grow strong, but there is undoubtedly something that is stunting your progress. What are your obstacles, what’s holding you back?
3. The Seed.
Within your immediate future, which area of your life will you first see signs of growth? Which seed has taken hold?
4. The Sun.
The love and support of others is helpful. But the will to grow comes from within. Let the sun be a reminder of what you need to keep in mind in order to help yourself grow.
5. The Rain.
A blessing in disguise. Understand that not all things are always as they seem. Grey skies can sometimes bring you down, but like the sun, rain too is necessary. Through struggle, you will find strength. What blessing in disguise is upon your horizon?
Your partner is feeling like their carrying all of the weight in the relationship. They feel as if the relationship is going down hill because they’re in so much emotional pain. They need to hear an apology from you and that you will do your part, engage more, in the relationship. Carry your own weight. Be self-sufficient and this relationship can be great.

Sometimes the best thing that you can do, is pack it up and move on. Leave behind the old, and walk towards the new. You must realize that there is nothing left for you there, the bigger and better things are waiting ahead of you.
He was as tall as a young tree, lithe, immensely strong, able swiftly to draw a great war-bow and shoot down a Nazgûl, endowed with the tremendous vitality of Elvish bodies, so hard and resistant to hurt that he went only in light shoes over rock or through snow, the most tireless of all the Fellowship. ~ J.R.R. Tolkien
As I’ve been making some tarot-related sheets for my personal journal, I wanted to share this. It’s sized for a standard sheet of paper, and perfect for newbies or more advanced readers. It’s an opportunity to listen to your intuition and really think about how the card you choose is speaking to you.

My method of getting kids not to swear at camp was just to appeal to their sense of fairness.
Me: “Hey! I’m not allowed to swear in front of you guys. It’s not fair if you swear in front of me, is it?”
Child: “I guess not… sorry…”
I literally always want to swear.
Lol this person ever met a kid?
I have worked with hundreds of kids professionally for the last three years. Children are complex individuals with the ability to reason and judge for themselves. It’s not always solid reasoning or good judgement, but the method that has worked well for me in the role of mentor, caretaker, and teacher is to treat them with respect for their ability to make decisions.
If a child is dismissive of a rule, there are two ways to get them to obey it: by threat of punishment or by convincing them that it’s actually reasonable. The former method makes me the enemy. The latter is harder, but builds trust and rapport. It doesn’t always work, and some kids are predisposed to see you as the enemy anyway - but those kids are often the ones who need it most.
Tarot Art Nouveau; artwork by Antonella Castelli
First off let me just say that I’m in love with the aesthetic of this deck. The artwork is beautiful and I personally feel incredibly drawn and connected to it. The cards fit well in my small hands. When first unpackaged they’re a little bit sticky (stiff?) to shuffle and the cards themselves don’t seem crazy sturdy, it’s a deck I feel could easily be well worn and replaced after a bit. The deck has quite a soft and romantic feel with a contrast of strong representations on the cards themselves. I can’t wait to read with them, shuffling through it alone got me excited to read and play around with them (which, let’s be honest, is super exciting when you have a hard time connecting with decks!). If anyone has any additional questions, I’d be more than happy to answer them!
You can get the edition I got (the standard) for about $20 USD on amazon!

Thanks for sharing this! I love their artwork. I have the Astrolological oracle cards and like them a lot, so I’m really interested in this one!
