Do something kind for yourself. Do something kind for someone immediately around you. Branch out. For don’t we know through our love of the natural world that we are all connected in surprising ways? And that even what looks like devastating destruction can yield the most brilliant future?
It won’t always be easy. You can decline to be nice, and do so without being cruel. Healing takes time. And remember, there is good in this world, and it is worth fighting for.
