some ppl who grew up with siblings didnt rly Grow Up With Siblings. like if you and your brother are 10 yrs apart u just dont get it… if you had siblings within 3yrs of your age you had the genuine experience of primitive undeveloped human brains pummeling the shit out of each other because none of us have developed frontal cortices and the laws of man don’t apply in the confines of this house
age gap <= 5 years = assigned nemesis at birth
age gap > 5 years = maxed out parenting skill by college
In the sadness of all these recent events I have just got to say I am super proud of Robbe. Even in the shock of everything that happened that night, at some point he returned home and he talked to Milan and Zoë, turned to them for help when he didn’t know what else to do. This was the same boy who for months was bottling up so much and who at one point drank himself to sleep just so he could sleep. Of course back then it was different circumstances and there were certain things Robbe wasn’t ready for people to know. But he has gone through so much growth since, that even when he is faced with a situation that has left him seemingly helpless and hopeless, rather than try and figure it out on his own, and risk doing more harm to himself, he turned to people he knew he could trust for help and for guidance and ultimately comfort.
Ouch. Willem DS’s acting in that clip. Unreal. His eyes don’t stop moving, he almost tries to speak without words coming out, you can see his brain so full of thoughts and all the while Robbe is cradling his head, stroking his hair and Heroes is playing in the background.
Genuinely incredible and so very heartbreaking.
Sander is the type of boyfriend who distracts Robbe when he’s trying to do his homework but brings Robbe water, tea/coffee and snacks while he’s studying for a big test/exam. And quietly sits sketching Robbe while he waits for Robbe to be done studying. I’m soft. 😭
hey full offense but the ‘use the right pronouns even if the person is horrible!’ statements arent made to coddle horrible ppl, its saying ‘dont view correct pronouns as a fucking privilege that can be taken away once people decide you’ve fucked up enough’, misgendering someone on purpose is transphobic no matter what bc it equates transphobia as a ‘punishment’ for bad people, pronouns are a part of baseline human respect, its that simple
