the clarisse + percy friendship is being on the same team in capture the flag and when they win percy’s like “you know what you can have the flag” and clarisse is like “you were a major component of our win YOU get the flag” and then it’s just them arguing over who should have it until finally percy goes over clarisse’s head entirely like “chiron the ares cabin should have it since they had more team players who contributed to our victory” and chiron’s like “that sounds fair” and both teams watch in bewilderment as clarisse snatches her helmet off and dunks it into the dirt in anger
I just think deadly or dangerous female characters are boring if they arent allowed to get a little messy thats all
like yeah she can kill you in seventeen different ways but does her hair get fucked up. does she get blood on her clothes. does she get blood on her face. is she breathing heavy with an unbalanced look in her eye. these are the important questions
tumblr stop giving me ads for funerals 🥰
** Disclaimer ** - I am NOT a professional graphic designer, however I did work with many of them for different occasions and I have been designing my own things for over 10 years now. All the knowledge I have and share with you in this post was gathered by me over the course of 14 years.
I recently started my font series, where I shared my favourite fonts of different typefaces. People have been requesting to post my favourite font pairings and as much as I love to do that (and I also will, just scroll down to the end of the post to see them), I think it’s also important for you to understand, why they work together nicely and what you should look out for, if you plan on pairing typefaces yourself.
I really don’t mean to guilt trip anyone, but the word needs to be spread about Palestine and no major news outlets are covering it. Hundreds of Palestinians are being injured by the Israeli Occupation forces trying to defend their homes from settler violence and ethnic cleansing.
For the past month lynch mobs and anti-Palestinian pogroms have filled the streets of Jerusalem, this is an extension of over 70 years of ethnic cleansing, dispossession, occupation, settler colonialism, and murder that has effected Palestinians, and Israeli courts have ordered the eviction of 12 Palestinian families in Sheikh Jarrah and to hand over their land to Israeli settlers. If you are American, this is what your tax dollars are going to, the least you can do is spread the word and voice your support for us.
If you are able to donate, here are some donation links for Palestinians in need:

more tweets documenting resistance and outrage
Palestinian activists and news networks are being censored across social media right now for recording and live-tweeting what’s happening in Sheikh Jarrah. Read through the #SaveSheikhJarrah tag and posts, so no one can lie to you and tell you this didn’t happen.

How would you feel if your neighbour just marched up to your door and said “get out”
or you found your neighbour in your backyard and you ask him what he’s doing and he says “well if i dont take it someone else will. this house is mine now”
and while this was happening to you, someone deletes your social media accounts, making it difficult for you to reach out to the world for help…
Well. Its actually happening. This very moment.
Everything in this post, except the “neighbor” part, the people who are doing this are not in any shape or form just simple “neighbors”, they are in fact foreigner settlers that are illegal under international laws (not that something being illegal under international law has ever stopped Israelis) and alongside them are fully armed soldiers helping them drag Palestinians out of their own homes.
ive been doing a lot of studies lately! houses have always been tough for me to draw. figured i just gotta find a way to feel joy drawing them. i learned i like them wonky and colourful! (these are referenced and you might have seen them on tumblr, btw!)
i think we should be allowed to dwell on media that genuinely impacts us without being expected to move on to the next new thing as if art and even entertainment were a mere trend…
so much of art now toils in obscurity or neglect bc we’ve forgotten how to look for it and sit with it and engage with it in a deep & sustained manner… we just consume things and then move on and forget about them, replacing one with another, over and over again ad nauseam. i don’t like it
