Nutrition Over Calories: Blog 3 in my ‘How To Actually Be Skinny Series’.
Y’all the reason why you’re probably not losing weight is SUGAR. Your sugar consumption should never exceed 25 g per day, if you exceed this number you WILL gain weight! I see a lot of people on here hyping low-calorie foods, but they don’t realize it’s actually the sugar that’s causing them to gain weight. Always read your nutrition labels!! While the calories might be low, if it contains a lot of sugar, you will be bloated to the max and it will store as fat. STOP EATING EXCESS SUGAR and always read the nutrition labels. Choose nutrition over calories y’all, it’s the only thing standing between you and your goal weight!

In a few months it’s summer. That means my friends want to go swimming. They are all skinny and have an hourglass figure.I’m not skinny and all the boys will look at them and won’t care about me. All the popular girls have a beautiful body and I’m a pig. My life sucks.
My tips for fasting
Since you guys loved my last post about how to get more steps I wanted to make another list… but about fasting! Here we go…
- Make sure your goal is realistic. I know you read posts where someone is claiming to fast for days and days. You don’t have to that. You set your own goals. 16 hour fast is very effective and it has tons of health perks other than just losing weight.
- Make sure you are up for it. Fasting is not for everybody. It’s okay if it’s not your thing. You do you.
- Drink a lot of water. I mean A LOT!.
- Black coffee is fine if you need energy.
- Drink tea. Can’t address this enough, but tea has been a huge thing for me. Get some really good tea (non of that Lipton shit) and learn of to make it properly. It’s not bitter. You can enjoy it hot or cold and there are tons of flavors.
- Sleep as much as you can. Sleep is really good for you and supports weight loss and your brain. Also, you can’t eat when you are sleeping.
- Keep yourself busy. Study, work, read, draw, color… Whatever you like. As long it keeps your mind off from hunger.
- Get a fasting buddy. You will be more accountable.
- Get an app to track your fasts. I currently use Zero.
- Break your fast right. When I have fasted for a long time and eat something “heavy” I always get a stomachache. Fruits are good for this.
- You are valid and important. Do this your way. Whatever you think is best for you.

I hate myself so much. I just binge, binge and binge. I’m a fatty and I will forever be one. Why can’t I just restrict and why do I alway have to think about food. I want to be pretty and skinny but sadly I will never be😔

Am I the only one for who meanspo doesn’t work? Like every time I read a meanspo I get so unmotivated to get skinnier. Idk how I can describe it but it’s just so demotivating to read it.

Now I’m fasting 24 hours and my fast is going to end tomorrow at 11:20 am.
I hope I lose 1 pound tomorrow
