sitting here on this fine night wondering why my intj brain is comforted by the distant sounds of trains going by outside my window
Yeah I get it, a few seasons ago I was frustrated thinking maybe we were wrong about it all, that Emily maybe had a falling out with Norman and they changed the whole plan but… I now actually think it’s been part of a larger plan all along (due to many factors I’ll list a tiny portion of them below)
I’m convinced all the different shows (TWD, Fear, the Rick movies ect) are linked and planned in conjunction with each other ahead of time.
That Andy was actually told his character was leaving but to say he wanted to “spend time with his family” fully knowing his story would continue in the Rick movies not long after.
I’m convinced they planned to have Beth return to the main show when many other “big players” like Rick, Michonne and possibly even Carol have finished telling certain story lines and are gone, either to other walking dead projects or dead. Because that’s the point when having an old familiar popular character returning will…
1. Have the most impact
2. Be well received, as the audience having lost so much in terms of main characters they love will warmly embrace getting something familiar back.
3. Will allow time for the Beth/Andrea characters and stories to shine.
Season 9 was an absolute minefield of Beth call backs and made me so excited for 10.
I agree that Emily’s song playing in 10.05 in conjunction with the music box starting to play again in 5.10, plus the filming at the hospital 🏥 they shot Grady at is a big deal. And granted we don’t know the context of the hospital filming yet but it’s definitely fascinating.
Not to mention the the get well soon clock 10.10.
But we will just have to wait and see 🙈 xoxo
“Goldstein’s previous research found that the more empathy the man showed for the woman (as measured in other tests), the more her pain subsided during touch. The more physiologically synchronized they were, the less pain she felt.
It’s not clear yet whether decreased pain is causing increased synchronicity, or vice versa.
“It could be that touch is a tool for communicating empathy, resulting in an analgesic, or pain-killing, effect,” said Goldstein.”

“When I was younger I used to think that if I could hug myself tight enough I could make myself smaller, because there was never enough room for me, at home or anywhere, but if I was smaller then I would fit in.”
Alias Grace, Margaret Atwood
I never understood the sentiment of people saying “that’s morbid” when seeing the
Cullens’ collection of graduation hats like, even if they weren’t immortal vampires and it wouldn’t just be an inside joke, it would be a creative way of remembering your deceased loved ones with fondness. Imagine just going around it with guestand when they ask about it you go “Oh yeah, that’s a tradition of ours, you see, that one for example was my grandma Elizabeths, she would always tell us so many stories about the things she used to do in her school years. There’s actually a really funnystory about her graduation day she told us once. I think it went like…”. Like bitch morbid would’ve been finding a skull in a showcase in the house with an engraved metal plate under it saying “Grandpa”, this is just something they do, it’s not like they have any decomposing bodies in their house, geez.
literally all of online “stan twitter” language is just aave that’s been popularized and generalized by nonblacks to the point where black people are the ones who look out of pocket for using words we came up with because funny internet persona #23904378 wants to use “deadass” and “finna” in every other sentence
can white people please reblog this because all i see in my notes are people of color and y’all need to own up to the fact that you overuse aave as well (looking @ u white gays)
What a weird week
Also, because it needs to be said, Debbie was a huge supporter of the mentally ill. She helped found The Thalians, a mental health charity in 1955 and served as chairwoman for the organization for fifty-six years. She was an amazing woman and will be missed.
i love her
Remember, Debbie Reynolds was so much more than just Carrie’s mom. She was a beautiful, amazing, wickedly funny woman in her own right. She loved her daughter and she made her daughter who she was, but it is a disservice to her memory to shrink her down to just being Carrie’s mom.
AND she is the top witch bitch from Halloween Town and needs her good name spread during HER holiday.
I grew up on this woman AND her daughter. Tammy and the Bachelor with a young Leslie Nielsen as the rich bachelor? Unsinkable Molly Brown? How could I not love her? And that was BEFORE I figured out she was Princess Leila’s mom.
