Same energyVivi has really risen on my ‘fav MSA character’ pretty quickly after Hellbent!
Pokemon is good because everybody who plays is given the exact same storyline and choices, but every person has a completely unique experience.
There are currently over 750 trillion different team combinations, even each individual pokemon has only a 1 in 50 billion chance of being identical to another of the same species. And that’s not even including pokemon having different moves… That means that every Pokemon is a valuable once in a lifetime companion, and your adventure with your pokemon is and will always be completely unique to you, and that’s really special.
Please allow me to walk you through my creative process:
Sometimes it starts off as a simple exercise: can I draw an expressive face?
“Nice!” I think to myself. “But…now I’m curious: what has her so terrified? What might possibly-”
“Okay, but this leads into another question: how did he get up there?”
“Of course. We have a reaction (surprise) to an effect (lizard) with a cause (man), but now I want a motive for this story to complete it. Why did he throw the lizard?“
I’ll never get over the amalgamates getting to go back home to their families in True Pacifist. I’m so, so used to stories that go, “this person is too broken, physically or mentally or both, to ever be put back together. they’re not the way they once were, so they’re good as dead. killing them is the only act of mercy.“
I’m so glad Undertale didn’t do that.
The True Lab intentionally plays on horror tropes. Phantasmal pursuers whose ability to appear and disappear defy logical attempts at evasion. Mutated, undead shambling creatures whose original selves are utterly destroyed.
But…like the rest of Undertale’s relationship to RPG tropes…subversion occurs.
It becomes increasingly clear that the amalgamates aren’t evil ghosts or mindless zombies. They’re victims of medical malpractice who miss their families. And when we find them returned to their families…they’re happy. Their families are happy. Things are different now, yea. It’s pretty weird for everyone. The new situation will take some time getting used to. But… it’s mostly good.
america’s funniest home videos episodes are just professional vine compilations
how could you do this
we used to laugh at old people who watched AFV reruns at night but we’ve become them when we rewatch vine compilations when we’re depressed all that is old is new again
A little while ago I couldn’t stop thinking about some of my favorite Fates supports and I remembered Nina and Beruka’s support as mother and child and it is still by far one of my absolute favorite mother/child supports. I REMEMBER BACK WHEN I GOT IT I WASN’T EXPECTING MUCH but oh my god the unique dialogue for Beruka and how she can relate to Nina’s social problems and how she reassures her that they both can get through this together (and its hilarious how she talks about her diaries) IT WAS ALL JUST SO PERFECT _(┐「ε:)_♡ socially awkward mama and daughter…
THIS IS FAR FROM MY BEST but it was still so much fun to doodle aoierhg I’m actually really happy with how Nina looks in the first few panels and how Beruka in general turned out. IT WAS ACTUALLY REALLY FUN TO DRAW HER ARMOR i love her design so much ₍՞◌′ᵕ‵ू◌₎♡
you know avatar the last airbender and gravity falls are both thought to be Very Good and one thing they have in common is that they had a set end. atla was meant to last until aang mastered all four elements and defeated the fire lord, and gravity falls was meant to last a summer, and the creators didn’t do more than what they had to do.
