inspired to do my own villainess oc ^q^ this one’s based on swan lake

I was really inspired by this Odette specifically bc she felt like a more mature and responsible version of others I’ve seen. So I made her a knight c: In this story, I want her to have an older sister with her own personal knights (4 older swans) while the top 4 juniors are the little swans, Odette’s closer friends. She had a strict upbringing unlike Siegfried and is the most mature of the 3. The problem with her is she struggles to talk back/ break rules because she was raised that way.

Someone was reincarnated into the villainess, Odile. She’s someone who had a scary face and would stand up for others, but people would still avoid her. She really wants to make friends, find love, etc. so when she’s reincarnated to someone with a nice face she’s determined to do that in her new life… except she’s the villainess and for some reason she still has a threatening aura. The other 2 like Odile because she has the balls to do a lot of things like scolding people (Siegfried restrained by being non-confrontational in general and Odette has strict manners). Unlike og Odile who is more of a seductress, this Odile is more like a lion with a knife.

Siegfried is the 2nd prince so he focuses on training with the royal knights. He has all the physical qualities, but he’s so used to positive and gentle education that training drains his soul. He likes to hunt instead. He’s like a gentle giant and a bit softspoken that he always resorts to using actions over words to resolve conflict aka he will punch people then run away. This is still a first draft so I have the most I want to change from him;; he baby hence Odile holding his hand.

I pretty much designed her like someone who would live in a big castle, but without really knowing whether I wanted her to be a princess or something sort of like a high mage. Her clothes and accessories are plain but kind of elegant. Still haven’t figured out her story tho, but I have some stuff that I’ve written so far. I think I’d like for it to be a coming of age story.

Anyway, in Velia’s family, one person at a time can inherit the “crown” which is the 3 stars I usually draw above their forehead. It’s supposed to make you a more powerful witch. Velia’s mom, Elina, has it and she’s the most powerful witch in the entire kingdom. Velia eventually inherits it, but even without it she’s a prodigy. This crown is unique to their own bloodline.

Velia has been working hard ever since she was a child. Since she’s an only child, people have high expectations for her to become like her mom. Her daily life is full of studying, training, and/or shadowing her mom.

She loves and respects her mom. I like to think that while Elina is free spirited, her daughter is too uptight. When Elina has time, she teaches her own daughter. She always makes sure her daughter isn’t overworking herself, like taking things easy or taking her out on trips. This is p much the reason why Velia doesn’t feel overwhelmed with expectations or the daily routine.

So of course things go south when her mom dies at around 18-19. All of the sudden her emotional support isn’t there, people are putting pressure on her to take over her mom’s place, and she’s trying to cope with her grief. She’s normally level headed, but it was sudden and Velia is still quite young. When Velia can’t do her job properly, pretty much everyone suffers because she has a pretty important position.

I fucking love beware the villainess. The new chapters at the banquet made me laugh, everyone asking about the lion but that’s just her vibe coming in for the check. Or how she somehow outdrank an entire alcoholic family just hits me in the right way
