There will also most likely be a part 2 for this as well
Content contains the following: angst, cheating, mostly comfort, the use of humor to cope with emotional pain, and a bit of hitting (nothing too serious, just lightly bonking your head on the table out of frustration). if you’re uncomfortable with the topics, that’s perfectly okay! You knew you shouldn’t have trusted him. I mean Amber, Lisa, and Jean warned you about him. Not mention, also Diluc warned you. You just brushed off the warnings, being too blinded by love and the captain’s charming words that led you to believe otherwise. You yelled at yourself for not expecting this to happen. You were not only angry at him but yourself as well. You cried to Lisa who was the first to figure out what happened. She embraced you, giving you comforting words. When Amber figured out, it was like all hellfire had broken out. You were like a sibling to her, how could Kaeya do this to you?
“He’s nothing but a scumbag Y/N. You deserve better, when I see him I swear I’m going to give him a piece of my mind.” She swore, hugging you tightly. Tears poured out of your eyes.
“What happened?” Jean asked, her eyes softened when she saw your face. No words needed to be spoken, the look you three gave her was enough information. “Let me talk to Kaeya.” She said, reaching the doorknob to exit.
“No, don’t. I-I want to be the one to talk to him.” You spoke, your voice was barely above a whisper. “I can do it. Just not now.” You finished.
“If that’s what you wish, then I will oblige.“ Jean nodded, walking over to comfort you. Lisa handed you a cup of hot tea to calm yourself down.
“I should’ve listened. How could I be so naive? He was playing me. It was so obvious.” You sighed, taking a sip of the hot tea. It did calm you down a little bit but you were still shaking. “I actually believed that he loved me. I’m so done with this. Why am I even crying over a guy like him?” You ranted on, tears welling up in your eyes again. You took a seat at the table.
“It’ll be okay Y/N, I promise.” Amber said, putting her hand on your should reassuringly.
“I agree with Amber dear. You’ve definitely got this.” Lisa smiled. Jean nodded and smiled along. Taking deep breaths, you thought you would at least make a joke to cope with the pain and to lighten the mood.
“Well call me a deck of cards cause I just got shuffled and played.” You snickered. Amber looked at you concerned along with the other two. “If you couldn’t tell, I’m trying to lighten the mood” You said, the realization hit them and they nodded.
“Odd way but whatever works for you.” Jean said, making you laugh a little. You wiped your tear stained cheeks with a tissue Amber handed you.
“I hate this.” You said, lightly bonking your head on the table. “I hate him.” Another bonk. “I hate him again.” You said, a final bonk.
“You should stop hitting your head on the table cutie. It might hurt you.” Lisa said, rubbing your back.
“Not as much as he hurt my feelings.” You said, snickering a bit while also letting a tear run down your face.
“Honey no.” Lisa said, pulling you into another hug. Jean rubbed circles on your back.
“I think I need to go for a walk, just clear my mind.” You muttered. The three nodded, letting you exit and make your way outside. The cool breeze filled you with relief as you walked out of Mondstadt. This was nice, it was calming. It was peaceful and quiet. The silence was comforting to you. Until someone interrupted it.
“What are you doing here darling? You look like you were crying.” There stood before you, the man you grew to hate in less than a day.
