I’m slowly starting to love Kulve Taroth but Xeno Jiiva still remains as my favorite in the game, I hope you like my art I just thought about practicing faces since I don’t draw humans much.
Also, this bugs me a bit even though it’s a small thing, Kulve Taroth is a confirmed female, not a male. It annoys me because that means the people who play tend to skip dialogue. The game actually has several NPCs refer to her as a golden queen.
Sorry for the mini-rant, I hate dialogue skippers.

Rathian is the female counterpart to rathalos, angry companion and overprotective mom. Just like mario needs a green version of himself, i guess capcom thought it would be a good idea to make their own too. And a great idea it was… Together they’re absolute hell on earth. And air.
This is the (re)beginning of my… probably forever ongoing series of turning monsters from the Monster Hunter series into people, in a way that intends to transform the personality of the creatures into something fitting (at least in my opinion). I say forever ongoing because i’ll keep making these for as long as they keep making games.. so hold onto your butts fellow hunters. Regardless, no better way to start then with the king himself. I mean he’s on the cover, enough said. Based on Gen 3-4 Rathalos.
Lord of the Sea, Lagiacrus I have a special bond with Lagiacrus. My first Monster Hunter game was MH Tri on the wii. I remember seeing lagiacrus on the cover of the box and being immediately sold. I had no idea what the game was, and yet such a great design meant i couldn’t just ignore it. And so began my… almost 10 year old journey with Monster Hunter from then til now. And i have this guy to thank for. Anyway, I went for a Pirate Lord design, obviously enough.
All’s fine and dandy until someone annoys Panoply enough for her to spring up and send Axel rolling.
To get better at the weapon, I started a Gunlance - only save in World yesterday! The character is Panoply and her cat is a felyne Axel. I’ll show her guild card once I get their Rath equipment.

^ I mean… he probably could, cos if he can slam the ground in 4U with his wings, he probably can slam the wall with them too. But wouldn’t it be awkward?? If he uses his wings to kabedon, then his arms will be awkwardly by his side

@ firstanon, I do have a version of the drawing before I added the wings and horns (the horns are on a separate layer), cos some of my friends prefer the hornless design too
