mal first found real success during his senior year of college during open senior studio. art collectors and gallery curators toured the senior studios and got to see a mix of finished and in-progress works. he sold a few paintings and made some good connections.

malcom smith an artist, he paints murals in the homes of the wealthy to pay for food and rent. out of passion, he makes a lot of political and activist work. he does his best to give back to the community wherever and whenever he can. he always plugs his BIPOC peers on his instagram, mal smith is an ally.

he lives alone mostly becuase he is hell to live with, most artists are. his apartment is also his studio so it’s often loud and messy. sorry neighbors. he has ONLY CHILD ENERGY.
