“Silence and stillness are not states and therefore cannot be produced or created. Silence is the non-state in which all states arise and subside. Silence, stillness and awareness are not states and can never be perceived in their totality as objects. Silence is itself the eternal witness without form or attributes. As you rest more profoundly as the witness, all objects take on their natural functionality, and awareness becomes free of the mind’s compulsive contractions and identifications. It returns to its natural non-state of Presence.”
The one thing I can appreciate about Tumblr is that I can just be. I don’t have to talk to anyone, I don’t care how many followers I have, I don’t care if anyone likes what I reblog. This entire space is dedicated to what I love; what inspires me; what brings me pleasure.
For Indigenous People’s Day, I compiled some links of places you can donate to help Indigenous people. This is by no means a comprehensive list, just what I managed to come up with today. A lot of these links are American centric but there are a few others sprinkled in. Feel free to add suggestions if you know of more organizations!
(If you happened to come from my art/the ATLA fandom, check out this educational resource about Inuit culture.)
