Taking in his first steps of the yard made his heart beat with joy. Finally he was able to come upon a truly terrifying place. If only he could come upon places like these more often. So, when he was encouraged to go inside, there was no way he could resist. It was just too easy to get him to go further inside.
“I bet it does.” Ryou hums as he practically runs to the door. Well, he slowed down a bit to admire the setting around him. Admiring the decrepit building and the rundown yard…it was truly a sight to see. Beautiful even. It definitely held a lot of history. He wouldn’t mind poking around longer and trying to dig deeper into the house.
“Thanks for leading me here,” he says with a bright grin, only turning around to smile at her before looking back ahead. “I hope it’s not locked…” The boy mumbles as he tries for the door.
Pruedence watched him intently, already knowing the answer to the statement he’s made. The door to the old house is always unlocked when she’s there by herself.
A dark grin made it’s way across her face. “It’s no trouble at all. I was headed in this direction anyway.” she told him. Pruedence reached over and grasped the door handle. She turned the handle, opening the door as it made an eerie creaking noise.
The inside of the house was old and dank. Peeling wallpaper from the 60′s covered the walls of the hallway and old creaking boards covered the floor. There is a hall closet near the front door and an umbrella rack. The hallway has a small side table with a mirror above it. Along with an old creepy staircase. There are a few arch ways and doors in the hallway, leading to other parts of the house.
“I guess the door wasn’t locked. Do you want to go inside?” She held the door wide open, waiting for him to enter the house.
