In the 1800s Bergen was Europe’s biggest wooden city, a distinctive city environment with closely spaced wooden buildings, busy streets, markets and alleys. At old Bergen open air Museum you can experience some of this atmosphere and it has today 55 wooden houses, most of which originally stood in the centre of Bergen. https://flic.kr/p/2jWVDWb
Spirit animal by Andrew 62 This beautiful stag was aware of me but was completely relaxed, unlike elsewhere in the park, across the river away from people, where the noises were like something out of Jurassic Park. I’m still not sure if it was a territorial thing or a mating thing but it certainly got everyone’s attention.
Oh no not the look! by lgflickr1 One of the many Chipmunks that kept me entertained while my fellow campers were out hiking. A few hours later the campsite was filled with smoke from the surrounding fires. The following shot of the sun was taken a few hours later from the same spot with the same lens.
Shot with a Nikkor 200-500mm a behemoth of a lens. I was going to unload it because of it’s size and having to manual focus, but it does get decent results. https://flic.kr/p/2jzjWwS
Someone just had a Blue Icee by lgflickr1 Taken from a boat in Costa Rica.
Some sort of lizard is around every bend, observing tourists as they pass. There seemed to be a mutual interest in one another, although a glance was as far as it ever went. https://flic.kr/p/2jLyDHL
Barely There by lgflickr1 Last week Mars was visually close to the moon. Hard to see but it’s there on the right, the small orange dot
. Hand held from my driveway. I had been moving boxes all day into my new home relocating from Culver City California to Prescott Arizona. https://flic.kr/p/2jRqV1C
