I’ve decided to work on e new style : Louis XVI … so I got inspired by Riesener, a famous Cabinetmaker of that time … I have still some adjustments to do and I’ll try to make other swatches and other meshes :)
Part 3 of my Farnesina walls. This time is the Sala del Fregio, also from Baldassare Peruzzi, painted in 1508. This room was the waiting room for the guests to the villa and also a room for important moments like the lecture of the owner’s testament. It receive it name from the frieze (fregio means frieze in italian) and it despicts the twelve works of Hercules and other myths. Hope you like it! The next room will be the bedchamber.
This is another room from the villa Farnesina, in this case, the Room of Perspectives, painted by Baldassare Peruzzi in the XVIth century. It despicts several trompe l’oeils, with columns let it us see several views:
villages perched on rock, countryside views, and in the background, against an illuminated sky, is the city (The Holy Spirit Church, a Roman basilica, the porta Settimiana).
I have created it for a room of 7x10, but the panels can be repeated to make it large, in fact the actual room has 8 doors instead of the 6 I have used. Also I have made a recolor of @felixandresims gothic fireplace.
In this case you can use it with medium and small walls, as well as with the tall ones (shown in the pictures) In the small and medium I have cut the frieze. The doors I have used are also from @felixandresims but I’m sure you can find other options.
Hope you like it, and your sims can celebrate great banquets in this magnificent space.
After my St. Antoine Church, I decided to convert the historic downtown of Windenburg into a gothic wonderland. I’ve decided with the library building and surrounding builds are on their way. I inspired by Baviaran city halls like wise Wien and Brussels ones likewise. Hope you enjoy
Note: most outside stairs are decorational. Only a few of them really works.
Hello simmers, I thought it would be nice to have a monumental square in the game. As the most square looking lot was Brichester Library I removed it for this triumphal arc and created a square.
Lot functions as a cafe. The little temple looking buildings are cafe and a public toilets. There are places for parking your bikes and for street painters and musicians. It’s a nice place for your sims to walk around and take pictures and etc.
I also added a smaller version of the Arc as a room in case you’d like to place in some lots or anywhere
My Basilica project is finally over. I named this building after the patron saint of where I live.
I like making rotundas and I wanted to make an improve on the rotunda. This is a domed basilica with neoclassical and baroque elements. With chapels and confessionals. As I build this between my previous projects the side façades are nearly blank.
I used Twisted mexi’s T.O.O.L. mod in order to fit everything as perfect as possible. Other wise this build wouldn’t be possible.
This is a conversion of the Buy/Build objects in the Sims 3 Store set Mother Russia. Includes: - 7 different roof deco towers/coupoles. I added an orthodox cross to the big round coupoles, to makeyour Russian churches more accurate. Tip: the items are rather big. Use in-game cheat to make smaller or bigger version. Or T.O.O.L. - a Russian Pavilion. Use stand alone or at the entrance.
- a double door - a double window - a single window
- a gate - a fence - Note: if you want rounded corners use another fence. Also: there is only one swatch in black/gold. May be updated in the future if Sims4Studio adds support for fences.
Add-ons: - an interior wall set - panel walls in matching colors with gold deco. I used the textures from the door. - an exterior wall set - plaster in matching colors, named St Petersburg
I was heavily inspired by King George’s costume in ‘Hamilton’ and wanted to make a collection based on it. This collection consists of a cloak, full body outfit, and crown. I’m super happy with how this came out! I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I am!
I’m finally happy with how the toilet works in the game (still some weird shadows with some lights, but I don’t know how to do it better). So I’m sharing it with all of you with some new walls to work with one of the recolors, although it’s perfect for some other rooms.
As far as I have tried, it’s totally functional, but I don’t usually “live” just build, so in case you find something weird, just let me know.
The Caserta Vanity I show you before will have to wait, as I want to do other objects to match that room.
