At least she’s playing with her kid? Unclear why they’re in the road but Rhonda gets an *almost* good parent participation award for this one
Meatballs for father, meatballs for son
Finally getting recognized with her second fame star!
Exhaustedly proselytizing the benefits of vegetarianism to a toddler
Breakfast with the Rosenblatts. Every time these two get in the same room as each other, their shared sentiments put them in a flirty mood. It’s not even cute anymore since it’s better for them to be inspired to build skills.
I would even take confident over this all the time tbh since they both need charisma for their careers. But at the end of the day it’s okay, I guess it’s good they love each other.
Toddler Oscar is a big fan of attention so he got up from his nap early and went looking for his parents, but they were hiding and he couldn’t find them.
A rose for a Rosenblatt. Gardening to impress the gardening expert. These two are so cute.
Dad by day, mixologist by night. Rohan’s gotta sleep sometime, and that sometimes means he can’t make it all the way to the bedroom without a little disco nap to keep him from passing out on the floor.
I know it’s because he’s a Genius that he does those hands-on-his-temples animations, but I like to think he gets headaches and mixology can help calm him down. It’s not a traditional “focused” emotion skill, but Rohan is the kind of guy who really focuses on his art.
The harder he concentrates, the more relaxed he’ll be. Rohan is either a very serious man with a lot of chill hobbies, or a super chill dude who is great at ignoring the “tense” effect moodlets that come from being a Genius who isn’t doing something “cerebral”. Just because he’s smart doesn’t mean he has to be a nerd.
Oscar did NOT like the babysitter. He is a Clingy toddler, after all. A hug from mom helped a bit, but he wasn’t very pleased with being asked to not have an emotional meltdown.
The sugar crash from the birthday cake didn’t help either… poor angry and sad baby.
Elizabeth invited Rhonda and Ren out to the ruins in Windenburg. Rhonda was delighted to get out of the house. Rohan was at work, so Destiny’s teenage daughter (Thessie? Tallie? Tahlia? or something) got called in to babysit little Oscar.
She also finally found a fifth crystal to pass to the stage of her aspiration. I can’t believe it took so long, she has already completed the my sims trophy collection.
Rohan made some tacos to try and cut the tension with Destiny. She has three kids, she should know better than to flirt with her coworker’s husband when both spouses are 10 feet away and in earshot.
I’ll just pretend that didn’t happen. Oh look, there’s a fly. Just having some dinner before work, no eye contact, it doesn’t have to be awkward.
Rhonda and Odin, apparently unaware of Destiny’s behavior, had fun together gossiping about and snarking on all the celebrities they would nevertheless give up anything to meet.
Rhonda invited over Destiny and Odin for dinner, hoping to schmooze them for signatures for her new political endeavor. Rohan helped smooth things along with his bartending.
Destiny had a bit too much to drink, apparently, and kept flirting with Rohan while their spouses’ backs were turned. Uh oh!
Drawing in the shower gave Rhonda the creative and brilliant idea to maybe start thinking about the good of the neighborhood. Particularly, that annoying power saving, green living or whatever ordinance (I think there’s two of them actually) that are limiting the amount of influence points she can earn (and as an “influencer”, that’s important to her maybe?)
So she #voted for the first time and also set about collecting signatures to repeal some of the nonsense that NPCs voted in.
Oscar is the cutest baby possible. The lifeblood of the legacy.
For now, though, he’s a bit of a momma’s-and-poppa’s boy, he doesn’t like being left alone without his parents (Rhonda and Rohan). Forget a babysitter, take him with you!
Rohan finally got promoted to the night shift of his career, so he can take care of Oscar in the morning while Rhonda goes into the office and Rhonda can watch Oscar when Rohan goes to work at night.
It was power conservation day though
(serves me right for ignoring neighborhood action plans and voting so far) so Rhonda had to work on her writing skills by hand.
Of course, Rhonda had to go to Ren to catch up on all the office gossip. Destiny wasn’t anywhere to be found. According to Ren, she got promoted to a top-floor corner office when the website and social media really started to take off.
On her first day back at the Fuzzread office post-pregnancy, Rhonda bumped into one of Rohan’s catering company coworkers, visiting to guest star on the FuzzreadFood cooking simtube channel.
Rhonda: So you’ve definitely heard of me, right? Only good things, I hope! :) :) :) haha
???: Uhhh yeah sure, anyway, see you around
This little momma is stir crazy af. The nursery/office scene is getting a little stale.
She also keeps autonomously changing into the hospital gown, not sure if that’s a bug or a fashion statement. Either way, Rhonda needs to get out of the house.
Why is Rohan hiding under the covers, you ask? Let’s rewind to earlier this evening, shall we?
Bladder failure #2 of the family. At least there’s no point penalty for this as far as I remember because otherwise we’d be in negative score territory.
