i see just between lovers is getting more and more attention every week and i’m very happy about this. it’s so good, well executed, great script and the actors are amazing. although as much as i love seeing people checking it out, i don’t think the show is for everyone.
i see tags and tweets like, “oh the leads seem so cute and have so much chemistry” or “this show seems to have a good cinematography judging from the screencaps.” these are true, yes but the show is a melodrama that might be triggering and uncomfortable to watch.
the show is very heavy. it involves an accident which could be very graphic. it is horrifying since they show this little by little through flashbacks every episode. it shows how this unfortunate accident tragically affected the victims’ families. it deals with trauma, pain, depression and death.
just between lovers is beautiful, heartbreaking, raw and sad. it’s a story of people reconnecting, helping and healing each other. please be careful before watching and take care of yourself first!
