Someone said to me once, “The good suffer and the wicked prosper.” Someone else said it better, “Hell is empty and all the devils are here.” I don’t believe in god. I don’t believe in heaven. But I believe in depravity and I believe in evil… because I have seen it.
Christmas Movie’s Countdown: Love Actually
“Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion’s starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don’t see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere.
Often, it’s not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it’s always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends.
When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love.
If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaking suspicion… love actually is all around.”
Zoe, Alice and Teller are based on the three stages of womanhood. You have the virgin, who is Alice, and you see the virgin a lot in fairy tales. She is fresh in life and looking for new experiences the whole time. The second stage is the mother, and that’s Zoe. The mother is all about nurturing. And the third is called the crone. It means the woman who has been through those early two stages and has now got wisdom.

Snyder: ‘Mothers Opposed to the Occult.’ A powerful new group.
Buffy: And who came up with that lame name?
Snyder: That would be the founder. I believe you call her ‘Mom’.
