psychically manifesting this for my mutuals whether they want it or not
i think the most meaningful thing i’ve ever done for the younger generation was gently convince a 10 yr-old to stop watching dream and his friends

wait i never uploaded the boba fett shimmering dragonfly art
Your stuff is wonderful
i love you
Yeah that video was the one I was talking about
oh good jfkslajdgkl
Mandalorian season 3/book of boba fett episode where they meet tag and Bink but they all keep getting chased by some random librarian or someone similar (Google librarian Mr X, something like that)
i googled this and if you’re referring to THIS video, I think Boba is the librarian in question.
If Tag and Bink were in BOBF, Boba would DEFINITELY be the one chasing them down. 1) he’d want to get back at them for a whole list of things (stealing his armor, his identity, and destroying his reputation being at the top) and 2) if he saw them on Tattooine he’d assume they were up to no good and track them down with Fennec.
What did Bloofenplortz Crackledackle do? (you keep calling him racist 'n stuff and i haven't really heard that from anybody else yet)
he’s referred to black actors as “colored” people before (which he did apologize for) but stands up a lot for his racist costars, especially when the Sh*rlock cast were trashing the Elementary cast for existing and yelling racist comments abt Lucy Liu
he’s also very classist and also ABLEIST AS ALL HELL. The way he talks abt autistic/ND ppl….. it’s absolutely disgusting you can google it yourself. and he hides all this behind a “polite sweet British man” persona and it grates on my every last nerve.
Being a Jedi must have been so isolating.
I know I joke about the Jedi order a lot, and they definitely have a lot of political and military power and privilege, But I wonder how isolating everyday life felt for everyday Jedi. Not high council members, or generals, but Jedi.
And they never know their parents, and everyone insists that’s a good thing. And unless they’re a distinctive alien, they don’t always know what planet they’re from. And all those centuries of culture, and love and life, are just taken. And they’re instructed not to love, but also told to love all. And how can you pull your heart back? When everyone asks you to push it down, never deal with it, but hide it, in fear of what attachment means. And masters tell tales of the dark side, and every mistake they make, every time they love too deeply, that plagues the mind. Are they falling in some deep hole of darkness, never to return?
And standing before the council, who sits high above all, at the top of the temple in a cold room. How terrifying must that have felt? These individuals hold their future, their purpose in their hands. And the council room is cold marble, and they know, all of the High Council are ready to let them go, at the drop of a hat. Their own Master, the closest thing they have to a parent, is not attached to them. They will move beyond them.
And nothing belongs to them, save their lightsaber. The only individually they possess. Because they have no identity. I’ve often thought why the singular and plural version of Jedi is still Jedi. And honestly, I think it’s because of their oneness. They are one being.
Like they don’t even have their own name.
They are Jedi.
deception arc discourse is so funny like why is anyone ever having it. “it’s a dick move to fake your death and make your friends grieve you” and “obi-wan didn’t really have much of a choice there” are absolutely both true at the same time, the answer is literally just both at the same time, you don’t need to argue which thing it actually is. literally what are you guys arguing about.
you could end so much of star wars discourse if you could just manage to convince people that many things can be true simultaneously. yes, it was a dick move for the jedi to kick ahsoka out so the republic could roll the dice on executing a fifteen year old. yes, the jedi were under pressure from the senate to expel her, and the public would have never accepted an internal trial. oftentimes you will find that people have seemingly good reasons for making decisions even of questionable quality. welcome to all of human history
[id: a tweet by @TPAIN that reads: “I encourage everybody to at least (in private if need be) take a shot at doing something you actually think you’d like but your friend circle has deemed it "corny” or “lame”. Liberate yourself from the constant need of approval from everybody besides yourself and go have fun". /end id]
u know, i think he means it
