- Do not swim alone.
- Do not open your eyes underwater. Some things are best left unseen.
- Do not swim down to the bottom of the pool. Do not touch the bottom of the pool. Stay away from the bottom of the pool. There are things down there that still remember what it was like to be alive.
i like the idea of this being an SCP

| A white rhino is dehorned at a rhino farm, Klerksdorp, NW Province, South Africa - Yesterday, the Chinese government made a devastating announcement reversing a 25 year ban on the sale and use of Rhinoceros and Tiger products. It will allow the use of powdered rhino horns and tiger bones for “medical research or in healing” from farmed rhinos and tigers in government certified Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospitals - In a statement announcing the replacement of the 25-year old ban, the State Council said powdered forms of rhino horn and bones from dead tigers could be used in “qualified hospitals by qualified doctors”. The animal products can only be obtained from farms, it said, and added ‘“parts from those animals classified as ‘antiques’ could be used in cultural exchanges if approved by the cultural authorities. Even if restricted to antiques and use in hospitals, this trade will surely increase confusion by consumers and law enforcers as to which products are, and are not legal, and would likely expand the markets for other tiger and rhino products. This comes on the very same day that WWF’s Living Planet Report reveals that “humanity has wiped out 60% of wildlife since the 1970s” and that the “Earth is losing biodiversity at a rate seen only during mass extinctions.” Follow me here

The Tunnel of Love
A few kilometers outside the city of Klevan in the Ukraine sits what was once an unassuming railway. This rail line runs for just a couple of kilometers and was cut through this forest to allow trains to carry goods to and from a nearby factory.
The trains still use these tracks three times a day. But with time, something lovely happened; the trees that still stood took up the space vacated by their departed brethren, creating a natural arch of leaves and wood that surrounds the railway.
The tunnel has become popular with tourists and superstitions have spread regarding its ability to grant wishes for couples that cross it while holding hands…leading to its nickname as the tunnel of love.
“If you want to succeed in your life, remember this phrase. The past does not equal the future. Because you failed yesterday; or all day today, or a moment ago, or for the last six months; the last 16 years, or the last fifty years of life doesn’t mean anything…all that matters is what are you going to do, right now.”
