Hey y’all. It’s been a hot minute. With Covid, I’ve been preoccupied with the world going mad over everything, and lately have been hypersensitive to almost everything. Let me give you a very short rundown to all things that matter here…
After eight years of writing, I had a close friend judge me and my art while they were upset. Not fun to go through and wouldn’t wish it upon anyone. It took me…
If anyone discovered her secret, sassy grad student Thalia Bareo could kiss her scholarships, opportunities, and any future career hopes goodbye. She’d be forced back home, stuck working at her father’s auto shop… the very place she’s worked so hard to leave behind.
Thalia values her independence and has never needed a man to make her life complete. She’s on the fast track to becoming one of the top minds in her field, her passion for museum curation and her desire to travel the world the driving force behind all her decision making. But fate throws a wrench in her plans when Thalia’s path crosses with two men who each stake a claim on her heart - two men who just happen to be professors at her university. Rivals at the posh New England school she attends, and neither having any idea they’ve taken an interest in the same plus-sized beauty, these men couldn’t be more different from one another. Yet both desire Thalia’s voluptuous body, as well as her intellectual mind, and offer her very different glimpses into futures she’s never considered. With each of them she discovers a hidden side of herself and must make an impossible choice now that her eyes have been opened.
Is it just about the thrill of her ‘education’ or will this forbidden love change Thalia forever?
A special thanks to all the tumblr readers who encouraged us to edit our story and alter it for publication. There are new characters to meet as Thalia makes her way towards graduation and her future career.
An extra special thanks to @caramell0w for loving our story so much that she offered to create our lovely cover for us! Don’t you just want to eat him up? And you know me! I can’t resist a man in a watch!
We love you so much! We never imagined when we started writing these little one shot stories, just to tease each other, back in 2016, that it would become a two part book series! THANK YOU FOR BELIEVING IN US!

Remember that fanfic we used to torture you with? With the sassy grad student and her unfairly hot professors, and those seriously steamy sexytimes? Yeah, that one! IT’S GOING TO BE A BOOK AND YOU CAN PRE-ORDER IT NOW!
Today, Amazon announced the imminent launch of its newest endeavor, Kindle Worlds, a publishing platform for fanfiction. When I read the announcement, I was horrified, then angry, then sad. I want to take a moment to explain why this is such a tragedy.
“I think Victoria Pedretti and I, we sort of work in a similar way. That’s why [since The Haunting of Hill House] we have become so close because we do approach stories the same way and she’s an incredibly interesting woman. We’re very, very similar personally as well.”
“I feel like me and Oliver work somewhat similarly. When we talk about characters… I feel like we’re coming from a similar place. I feel like he is more technical than I am, still. He definitely pushes me [as an actor].”
He can see she’s not taking it lightly. “It’s not my job, Hale. If you came back looking for this, it’s your problem. How do we even know it’s a threat?”
She’s more stubborn than he anticipated, “Trust me on this. You need to be careful, it should be your first instinct with Beacon Hills’ track record.” He lays his eyes on her thick and leans in so she knows he means business, “Be careful, and call me when it’s near. Don’t take any chances on your own.” Before she can respond, he’s turning and walking out of the clinic.
He recalls what he’s said out loud to her and wonders if it’s too much information already. Worried she may take the wrong approach for herself and unable to talk to Deaton about it, he hopes she doesn’t take chances or takes things into her own hands.
The night is cool, but his wolf physique inside keeps him warm. The leather jacket helps.
He walks alone and is unafraid. It’s a long walk but he could use the exercise. Then he gets the scent. He takes a big whiff and it’s intoxicating. Being away from Braeden for this long, his carnal instincts pick up. He follows the scent quickly as his werewolf speed kicks in. He follows his senses, all the while picturing what he wants to see. Low and behold, he’s out of breath and completely hardened by the time he’s arrived. It’s a woman, and he can smell her arousal.
Being careful not to intrude and give her respect, he closes his eyes and turns the other way from the woman’s cracked open window. She’s beautiful and tempting but he’s not that guy. Before he steps away completely, he takes another long hard whiff. She’s incredibly wet and ready. Before he gets too involved, he pulls away from his werewolf instincts and begins to run.
As he begins to run, his thoughts return to Braeden and how incredibly rough he could be with her, because she was just that rough herself. She matched him at everything, which is why their personalities clashed so hard. He had had the upper hand in so many other relationships and the worst success as the subliminal one, he was used to and loved being in the position of power, but with her it was different; she was just that herself - an alpha of her own solo pack. They were so similar, they clashed.
He thinks about their last evening, how much emotion was involved, how much she meant to him. The sadness makes him angry to allow it to bother him so much. Mid run, he turns to werewolf, allowing his hands and face to almost completely change to unleash the frustration. His eyes burn with the colour last given to him - blue. He growls and then stops in his steps to howl into the dark chilled night sky. He can see stars for miles in the sky.
With his wit-sharp senses, he continues into the woods, deep and fast. His anger quickly calms as he gets to his destination. Even though it’s been in shambles for years, it’s still home to him.
That night, he lays awake on an older mattress. Through a whole in the ceiling, he stares at the sky, lost in a memory of not believing his own ears when he first heard the news; Marin was working with Deaton directly.
He was unsure of her, he wanted to be extra careful with her. She had switched teams before and he wouldn’t let her do it again. If she was moving back to Deaton’s vet clinic, there was a reason for it and one way or another, Derek was going to find out why.
Marin is at her desk taking notes and studying as always. She hears the back door open and the footsteps of a familiar kind. It doesn’t take her long to figure out who it is; there’s only so many people Deaton gave the access key code out to. She continues to write in her notes as the footsteps get closer. She can tell they’re standing over her desk. “Deaton say you could be in here?”
“You’ve been gone for awhile, Marin. Maybe I should be asking you that question.” She raises her eyes to see none other than the mysterious and missing in action Derek Hale. “Last I heard, you were at Eichen House.”
She huffs, “Their supernaturals ran out. All is calm there, even the clients thanks to my expertise.”
“In Beacon Hills? Calm doesn’t seem to be possible.” Derek‘s face is undeniable - he doesn’t believe her, and still utterly gorgeous.
On purpose, Marin sits back in her chair bearing all her beautiful tits in glory and her voice oozes annoyance by his lack of confidence in her, “As soon as I cleared up Eichen House, the patients just went docile. What can I say, I’m a professional,” and in the same breath without a pause, she adds, “Where’s Braeden?”
Derek looks to the floor in disappointment. He pauses for a moment but doesn’t have to say much more.
She sits forward and leans on her elbows covering her face with her hands, “God damn it, Hale, I told you two to go into hiding forever—“
“She’s fine,” he barks back at her, and it quiets them both, “besides, it wouldn’t be home if there wasn’t drama.” He looks back up and at her with a somber expression. It’s clear they’ve broken up.
For the first time, Marin sees hope for them, but she doesn’t let it show, “I’m sorry, Derek. She was a good bodyguard. You two were good together in more than one way.” She patiently waits for a returning comment from him, but he remains quiet. “How long have you been back? Why are you back?”
Derek leans against the wall behind him. His leather jacket is the only thing that buckles against the wood. “I told you, this is home.”
She crosses her arms, unimpressed, “No one has had any problems here for a long time. You understand that, right?”
Derek dips his head and his eyes pierce hers, “I know that, and I’m here to keep the peace.”
She squints and searches for an indication of more information; something doesn’t sit right with her. She doesn’t know if she should be trustworthy or cautious. “Why do I have the feeling you’re not telling me the whole truth?”
He scoffs under his breath, “Deaton get any calls about a stray dog? Maybe wolf looking? Stalking the woods, maybe?”
There’s a hint of tease to his voice as her eyes widen in surprise, “What do you know that I don’t?”
Derek takes his steps forward towards her desk, “I know that dog has been around your house lately, and has been hiding in the woods. Only comes out at night. I’ve been searching for it.”
“Who is it? Who’s here?” Marin is worried and confused, but she takes interest in Derek’s mystery.
“I need you to help me find it. I think it could be someone in trouble. I need your help.” His eyes are dark and deep against his white pale face. His scruff is the perfect accompaniment to it all, but right now he means business and she’s more concerned about people getting hurt.
Something strikes her as unsound, but she can’t put her finger on it. “Why not go to Deaton? Why me?”
“Because Deaton can’t know I’m back in town. If he knows, he’ll have too much on his hands. He’s supposed to be helping the McCalls. I’m done dragging him into things when he’s no longer responsible for me. If he finds out I’m back, he’ll devote his life to me on behalf of my mother.” It’s heartbreaking to hear, but she knows he’s not exaggerating. “You’ve always been one step ahead of everyone else, including Deaton. I want you on this, Marin.”
Other than Stiles (obvious answer lol), the only person who I believe he could fully trust and be himself around was Braeden. I love her for him and I always will. Plus, she’s fucking GORGEOUS, and one hell of a Queen. 🤘🏻
Next in line is definitely Marin Morrell. I mean she has the same kind of look and would be around Derek’s age. Plus she could help Derek about the same as Deaton. She’s my next Queen to rightfully deserve Derek. 😻
