we put it on our faces and go
=) Honestly I’ve never felt worried about guys finding me attractive because of it or not. I, by no means am trying to sound arrogant but I feel like I’ve had some amazing and incredibly attractive men in my life. I think, surprisingly, a lot of men find it unique and even like it. I’m skeptical when they tell me they love it but I’ve genuinely never ever felt like it’s deterred any of them. I have it literally everywhere. There is no hiding it for me either. Even when they see me without foundation, 9 out of 10 guys prefer that I don’t even wear make up. You just have to own it, love. You’re gorgeous either way, it’s just skin. 😊
Please just let me go to sleep. It’s almost five in the morning and all I’ve been stressing over is the white patch on my skin. Just the thought of having vitiligo makes me nauseous. At least my mum managed to live a long life, get married, and have children. I’m 19 and I won’t get anything if this spreads all over. It just gets worse and worse for me. If the doctor confirms it I swear to god I will attempt to suicide because this is honestly the end of the road.
Hey there. There are a ton of people here that would just love to talk to you…I hope you feel better…take care and drop me or any of the followers a message if you ever feel the need or just want to talk. Be safe and healthy.
i’ve seen a lot of people (mainly on facebook) saying John Legend’s “You & I” is cheesy or that people need to stop “making a big deal about it” but like…
for the women who are constantly shamed for how they appear or who they are, seeing themselves represented positively is massive.
Errr….what do you mean?
I know its KINDA unrelated, but my dlsr is rendered useless for the time being so I havent been shooting much lately aside from work…I dont contribute much OC anymore but I promise I will once I sort my camera sitch out.
Anyways, this is me and my fiancée, whom I’ve posted about before and is the reason I made this blog in the first place. You can kind of see his vit on his hands in this pic but its mostly on his arms, joints, knees, feet and bum ♥_♥ I do have a question, however, since the warmer weather doth approach here in Atlantic Canada: how do you deal with sunburns on your patches? He gets burnt on his hands since sunscreen is always rubbing off and stuff on such a high traffic area. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I hope that everything is great for everyone, and the submissions and messages coming in are always wonderful. I love how everyone inspires and instills confidence in each other without even trying! What a wonderful group of followers to have.
Canadians, have a great May 2-4 and the rest of the world, have a fantastic weekend!
oops I’m on a reblogging spree
@wxii Noooo Come here, let me love you Seriously though, don’t let dickheads on the internet get you down. For those that hate, there’s a ton more that love and support. Inbox if you ever need to talk, and submit if you ever feel comfortable doing so! Take care. xo
thanks internet for making me feel repulsive for having vitiligo
1. “Ew do you have poison ivy?”
2. “OMG were you burned as a child?”
3. “Isn’t that the Michael Jackson disease?”
4. “Why don’t you keep that covered?”
5. “Aren’t you embarrassed to be seen in shorts?”
6. “Why do you even bother getting a tan?”
7. “Are you sure that’s not contagious?”
My ina (mother) is gone, but I’m everyday I am reminded of her bcuz she gave me her vitiligo. I’m her only child outta seven that inherited her vitiligo. I’m glad to have her same skin.

My Vitiligo began 20yrs ago & has never slowed me down. I’ve accepted it as soon as I was diagnosed. My best advise is to embrace it & use it to your advantage.
Feel free to hit me up w/ any questions or whatever :)
