do you taste the vibe
do you taste the vibe
also in trans news that should be talked about. laverne cox has stated that on saturday her and a friend were assulted in a park and it’s not really getting the same attention as elliot. we can still be proud of him without ingnoring what happened to laverne and her friend.
if you claim ally ship to the trans community then you can’t ignore the bad things that happen to especially trans woc. and if you’re a white trans person you can’t just talk about other white trans people. it just shows that you only care about trans people if they are white and that shouldn’t be the case.
if your gonna talk about elliot please also talk about laverne. she deserves better and we should all do better to raise up the voices of black trans women.
oya oya oya hello fellow daycare kid

why hello there good sire
I wish people understood that nb people gendering themselves and playing around with gendered terms and letting their friends gender them is like…. Different than a stranger gendering you. Because with a stranger, I have no idea how you’re navigating my gender, other than that you’re calling me by limiting terms and judging me based on those limited terms. Whereas with myself and my friends like….. I know them calling me a queen or king or boy or bitch or whatever… They Get It and they Know what I am so they aren’t limiting me, they’re playing in the space that is gender. So, I guess bottom line is: if you’re a stranger, stop assuming you can gender and label people who you don’t know.
i act like i don’t care but deep down… i actually don’t care lmao

“Many of you are writing about race, racism and white supremacy right now. Please use this chart to correctly identify Black Americans. Accuracy in how we identify folks is paramount always but especially right now.”
[ID: A flowchart titled “Should you use Black or African American? A guide for journalists.” It was created by Erin B. Logan with contributions from Rubaina Azhar, Tracy Boucher, Danielle Parenteau-Decker, Dalia Pichel, and Alicia Ramirez and designed by Aida Yianan.
The top of the chart asks “Are you writing about Black people?” with “Yes” being the only option. The chart then continues “Do you know their ethnic background?”
If “No” to ethnic background, then “Use “Black” If you don’t know; It’s an all-inclusive term and is always correct.”
If “Yes” to ethnic background, then ask “Were their ancestors slaves in the USA?”
If “Yes” to having enslaved ancestors, then “Either “Black” or “African American” is appropriate.”
If “No” to having enslaved ancestors, then ask “Do you know what country they/their family came from?”
If “Yes” to knowing what country, then “Use “Black” or “[Country] American”; e.g. Jamaican American, Nigerian American”
If the question “What if they’re Black and from a non-majority Black country, and their race and ethnicity are relevant to the story?” arises, then “Add “Afro” to the front; e.g. Afro-Italian, Afro-Cuban”
hey! so for those of you who didn’t already know, i currently live in Japan, where same-sex marriage is not yet legal. tomorrow afternoon, the Japanese Diet is having a hearing concerning same-sex marriage, and they’re “gauging interest” based on the viewership of the livestream. basically, if people don’t watch, they’ll just write off the issue as niche and avoid it for as long as possible.
i’m posting about this here because, for ~some reason~, the hearing is to start at 1pm. on a regular thursday. when people are at work.
so, for those of you who will be awake at 1pm JST on thursday the 26th of november, i ask you to please contribute to the youtube live viewer count. i’ll put the link in a reblog.
thanks in advance!
youtube live is here
This is 11PM EST on November 25th if you have trouble with time zones.
If you live in an area that uses PST, it’s at 8 PM tonight!
this is 10 pm CST, today wednesday november 25th!! it is in 4 and a half hours
okay question time. do you think wonpil (day6) is good at sucking dick?
hi everyone, i’m not one to make these type of posts, but right now, Nicaragua is being hit by Hurricane Iota and it has created a lot of damage, and it has devastated places that were just hit with Hurricane Eta. Hurricane Iota is the worst hurricane that has ever hit Nicaragua.
it’s mainly affecting poor communities that have been hit by the pandemic and the government is refusing to help.
these are some links in which you can donate, and if you can’t, please reblog and share to see if anyone can. thank you!
if you have any more links, please do feel free to reblog with them! it’s very much appreciated.
hear me out
but maybe even,,,,
@rock-and-roll-and-rats Thank you so much, I’m so grateful
Kpop peaked when everyone was multifandom and not dividing themselves into fandoms hunger games style. Like this fandom for fandom or fandom against fandom shit is so dumb bro it’s dumb!
Lowkey wish we went back to shaming ppl who only liked one group y’all gave them too much power
also liking one group religiously is no fun at all. like…. y'all just listen to the same boring songs over and over and never try anything new? are you okay?
annual blackface time for dutch people and every ugly, racist freak such as these (warning: people in blackface) have come out of the woodwork to show their ass and harass people.
If you want to support KOZP (Kick-Out Zwarte Piet), a grassroots organisation that has done incredible work for making cities blackface-free, you can donate here.
Be sure to mention that you want to have your donation allocated to KOZP in the message portion. If you don’t fill it in, no problem, the funds will just be used for general purposes (ie. education about colonialism and slavery in the Netherlands)
People currently in the Netherlands! Please check out @kozwartepiet to get informed about demonstrations/initiatives near you.
