First People’s Choice which made BOTH BTS and Blackpink look bad (I’m not going to go into this matter, what’s done is done no matter what “side” your on) and now the Grammys.

Not only do I think that BTS deserved at least one nomination for breaking record after record, but Blackpink deserved to get a nomination as well.

BTS is undoubtably the biggest group in the world right now which is great ( I’m a hardcore army) but I feel like because of their success we k-pop stans tend to over look other groups achievements as well (unless you are a fan of that group) Blackpink has broken some records as well this year which, honestly, really says something given the fact that YG has treated and managed them like absolute 💩, and I believe that they should have also been given a Grammy nomination.

But you know…like SM, the US wants to “include diversity” in award shows, but doesn’t really want to “include diversity” America is called the Melting Pot for a reason, so why the heck are we being unfair to foreigne artists who deserve to be recognized for their hard work as well, just because they aren’t from the US, and don’t live in the US….but like the US says that it’s not a problem….and yet it goes back on its word and does some hypothetical shit???

  • AOTY 2020 Grammys

I honestly think the academy has stopped nominating Taylor for Album Of The Year because they don’t want her to win it three times at the age of 30. Especially because she was the first female artist to win the award twice.

I think they know that if they nominated ‘Lover,’ and then didn’t pick it, it would make the academy look worse than not nominating it at all.

  • Taylor Swift & More Artists With the Most Consecutive Grammy Noms in Genre Album Categories

    Billboard // by Paul Grein // December 3rd 2019 - [Excerpt]

Several artists have a long ongoing streaks of consecutive album releases that have received Grammy nominations in genre album categories. Take a look.

    Taylor Swift.
Lover is Swift’s sixth consecutive studio album to receive a nomination for either best country album or best pop vocal album. That’s her entire output of studio albums except for her 2006 debut. Swift won best country album for Fearless and best pop vocal album for 1989. She’s the only artist who has won in both of these categories. If Lover takes best pop vocal album in January, Swift will join Kelly Clarkson and Adele as the only two-time winners in this category.

Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney & All the Songwriters With 4 or More Grammy Nods for Song of the Year

    Billboard // by Paul Grein // December 3rd 2019 - [Excerpt]

Taylor Swift probably had mixed feelings when the nominations for the 62nd annual Grammy Awards were announced on Nov. 20. She received three nods, compared to seven the year 1989 was in contention. On the upside, she was nominated for song of the year for “Lover.” It’s Swift’s fourth song of the year nomination, which puts her in elite company. Just 13 songwriters or songwriting teams have amassed four or more song of the year nominations. Here’s a complete list.

    Taylor Swift, 4.
Swift teamed with Liz Rose on “You Belong With Me” (2009) and with Martin and Shellback on “Shake It Off” (2014) and “Blank Space” (2015). She wrote “Lover” (2019) by herself. Swift has yet to win in this category. We’ll find out if she wins this time around on Jan. 26, when the 62nd annual Grammy Awards are presented at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

    #she is in some elite company...especially for SOTY #I don't think she's gonna win by any means - but I would really really love her to... #billboard#article #well I guess technically it's ''articleS''  =) #grammys 2020#lover era#lover album#lover #song of the year #taylor swift#breaking records
