Death might have different meanings for every individual sometimes loss of someone is death, breakups are death, sometimes failure is death and sometimes being yourself is death.

That’s my original story.
This week I was coming from school. I had a pretty good day but I started to worry about something. It’s already December but the sun was shining very strong, like I couldn’t even look front of me and I was sweating. In Poland we should have snow now but you can see fresh grass. Of course it’s the global warming consequence.
As I was walking the more I was thinking about that. “The winter is not itself…” - at this point I went to amazing conclusion!
The argument is:
So easy, right?
The XXI century is the century of social media. It is not a secret that the main conception of Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook etc. is “the more you have, the more you worth.” Of course it’s a big lie - we are worth just by our personality, memories, kindness and in general by the fact that we are people. Unfortunately we are still forgetting about that and hypnotized by the pretty pictures - want more, buy more and start to need more, because the more we have - the more interesting we think we are.
The mass production is killing our planet. We are making trash by taking too much natural resources. But we still think we need more to live. Like in Alan Walker’s song: “chasing our demons just to watch it fall”.
Interesting is, that seasons are like people we want to change:
- Spirng - The fresh, soft little child. Cute right? We still want it to grow up faster, to be “hot” like it’s older sister - Summer.
- Summer - Has a strong temperament. We love her by it’s hot moments, it’s like that the sexy friend everyone likes, but when it shows it’s disadvantages - thunder storms, rain and insects - everybody are turning back from her. That’s why she have to be hot all the time.
- Fall - The unwanted sister. The green leafs were so beautiful and those shorts were looking so good on us. We want it to be warmer than it should.
- Winter - The cold sister. Usually, when someone is cold we’re saying to him: “C'mon don’t be so cold!”. But what if someone is just like that? What if this is he’s true personality?
That’s basically it. People - just be who you are. You don’t need so many new clothes, things and food to be yourself - something that is one of the most important things in our lives. Everything is connected to each other. This is the best example.
To everyone else who grew up making themselves smaller to protect themselves from a family member. It’s okay to be yourself. Not everyone will show their dissatisfaction towards you with their fists.
For God’s sake, don’t try to bend yourself other ways to fit in, it won’t work and make you unhappy. Surround yourself with nice people and be yourself and at peace. Do something that’s worth a story, don’t be scared anymore, it gets better with patience and a well used finger gun now and then.
Well I am, what I am, what I am, could be who you are? ♪
Is your pain, when you smile ‘cause you built a wall around your heart? ♪
Do the thoughts in your head keep you up 'cause you feel alone?
