Caspian: Being a king is exhausting, from times to times.
Y/n: I know, baby, but you're doing a great job.
Caspian: Do you think narnians are finally happy?
Y/n: As a narnian I can say, my people have never been happier...
Y/n: ...and neither have I. *caressing his cheek*
Caspian: It's reciprocal, my love. *kisses you*
Randome headcanon #5:
okay not realy a headcanon, more of a personal thought about the prince caspian movie based on the thing that some people found the adaptation of the character not realy fitting and kinda strange age-wise and therefore behaviour-wise.
i think that Caspian looks okay age-wise for the role, he apears to be about Peters snd Susand age (Ben Barns was in his midtwentys in that movie, i thoughg he was a teen and i know in the book he was a preteen but they aged everyone up for the movie) and i also think his relative helplessness fits.
Miraz wanted to be king so it would only be logical to keep thr true king an unfitt ruler, including not educating him when it comes to leading and also keeping him away from having any experiences that could change his naivity. Caspian efectivly was kept away from everything he would have needed to know to rule and also from everything that could make him doubt Miraz. he trusted Miraz. He didn't realy think any of it that his education consisted mostly of legends in the movie.
so when suddenly he got to know that Miraz wanted to get ridd of him and in the same moment realusing his helplessnes it was only understandable that he would emedietly call for help from people that he knew efectifly as heros, as fighters and as leaders.
I don't realy want to say that Miraz tried to keep Caspian a child as long as possible but definitly keep him away from the real world.
so in conclusion i think Caspians behaviour mostly fitts. also him trying to step up when the pensivy siblings didn't match the legends and apeared about his age. he realised that if his heros were his age he could also do it and that he can't always count on adults. Miraz raised him to leave everything to him the adult who knew what he was doing, so later Caspian thought letting the older people who know what they are doing do the saving would be right.
thats just my thought on the matter.
miraz kept caspian as naive and unexperienced as posible so he could rule.
caspian calling the pensivys after realising that he didnt know what to do and only trusting in himself when his hopes about the legends were not met
and me for years believing ben barns was a teen when he played caspian for the first time
Tonight's cooking adventure: Iranian Spicy Shrimp and Rice! Fresh shrimp cooked briefly with caramelized onions, garlic, tamarind, cilantro, fenugreek leaves, turmeric, ground dried limes, salt and pepper, and red pepper flakes is layered and finished with Persian-style steamed rice and saffron, then topped with serrano pepper slices and dill for that extra kick at the end.
This is one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life.
