Technically. It’s inspired by a hc I had a while back about forms of toxel based on different guitar models. The concept is closer to dog/cat/other domestic animal breeds, with a couple naturally occurring breeds, like the purple Galarian ones, and tons of forms selectively bred to fit certain genres. Since my OC specializes in sound pokemon I’m thinking of including it by having one of her team members be one.

Strato is a Unovan breed that’s basically the golden retriever of toxel breeds. Both evolved forms are pretty tame and friendly as far as toxtricity go. Being easy to train makes them popular with musicians and type specialists of varying skill levels. Perfect balance of being less dangerous than poison toxels and a bit scrappier than grass type “acoustic” toxels which are known to have weaker defenses and more specific care requirements. They can adapt to almost any genre, everyone loves them! He will evolve into an amped toxi that will either stay pure electric or gain steel type. It’s not really visible in the pic but I actually tested some metallic colored pencils on him. And if the name didn’t tip you off the guitar inspo for these guys is the fender stratocaster. Fender is US based so the region lines up.
