Costume Notes: So my best guess for these photos is Kato was just mid changing or something because I don’t believe Tybalt goes on stage without the black shirt and necklace, though perhaps he does for certain scenes or maybe at some point in the 2013 run this was his standard costume.

Costume Notes: There is no big change to Tybalt’s costume from 2011 to 2013. The main change is he gains a golden cross necklace, has a black shirt now instead of white and has a black band on his upper right thigh which I think is to secure his knife’s sheath to his leg. I will say Kato’s Tybalt costume differs  slightly from Shirota’s (the other 2013 Tybalt actor) who has more décor on his jacket and otehr things though I will cover this in part 4.

This is a project I’ve recently finished. This song has gotten me through so much the past several months. It’s motivated me and cheered me up so much. Words can’t describe how much I love this song not just because it’s catchy but because of the strong lyrics too. 

I couldn’t find English translations for it so I went and translated it myself. (I’m still at a lower level of Japanese but used enough resources and the knowledge I have to put together a suitable translation) 

Then, I decided to put my translation as subtitles on the music video.

When I went to Japan last month I found out Kazuki Kato was in a musical. But it’s opening day was the day after I went home!

So I still went to the theater that it was going to be at in Yokohama. And took pictures of the marquee. It was totally worth it and I wasn’t expecting there to be a giant one on the outside wall! Hahaha
