Let Me Tell You
âFor to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and of peace there will be no end,âŚâ Isaiah 9:6-7ESV
Thereâs only One in all history Who is âWonderful Counselor.â All others think they know how to counsel people. They can practice their education. Our âWonderful Counselorâ knows how the heart thinks, fears hidden away, hopes unknown to any others. Only He knows how to counsel the person with PTSD, or the plethora of other mental issues.
I had PTSD. It started as a small child picked on, spanked leaving marks, bruises, occasionally bloodâ because of perceived sins (actually things done by others). If I didnât comply with requests, I was always blamed and in trouble. With my ex-husband, I got in trouble for not wanting to âswing.â Later, he tried to shoot me, standing no more than four feet from me. Hysteria overcame my ability to speak. God helped me overcome murder, I lived. But for twenty-five years I suffered from PTSD and the victim mentality.
The psychologist practiced Dr. David Seamondâs âHealings Of Past Memories and Traumasâ methods. Seamond had received the direct knowledge from the âWonderful Counselor,â through intense times of prayer and Bible study. Since then this method has been named SOZO. Can I tell you âWonderful Counselorâ rescued my mind from fear no person should have to endure? Holy Spirit is awesome.
When the doctors came and told meâ âyou have cancer.â I found His name is âMighty God.â Healer. Savior. Redeemer. Three separate times the doctors gave me the diagnosis. Each time Jesus showed Himself to be âMighty God.â
âEverlasting Fatherâ didnât ask me to ââŚwalk through the valley of the shadow of deathâŚâ with cancer. Psalm 23:4ESV. Diagnoses and discovery always proved God was true and doctors liars. His intent for me wasnât cancer road.
Let me tell you about Jesus. The hearings, miracles done in my life, can be done in your lives too. ââŚGod is no respecter of persons:â Acts 10:34KJV. He longs, desires, to be your Savior, Healer, Miracles Worker.
Even delivered from PTSD, I still had a resident demon called fear, oppressing me most of my life. Sometime, since the beginning of November, as Iâve awakened and prayed during the nights about our election and state of the nationâ fear has been removed from me by the âPrince Of Peace.â I canât begin to tell you how quieted my spirit is, the peacefulness. In the face of all the terrible laws, the evil fake president and government are trying to enact over us, I know âPrince Of Peaceâ reigns supreme. âOf the increase of His government and of peace there will be no end.â Nothing can change what God plans and what Heâs doingâ see Psalm 33:9-11.
Why would He do this for me? Will He do good for you, too? âHe restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His nameâs sake,â Psalm 23:3KJV. His nature is to love, bless, do good to us in order for people to know His nature. Will you believe and accept? Itâs your choice. You choose.
PRAYER: Maker, Creator, Master I worship You. Reveal Yourself to others I pray, in Jesus Christâs name.
