imagine getting up to a perfect morning each day.

nothing to stress about or cause a spike in your blood pressure just thinking about it.

it could be getting on your email/phone first thing or manifesting your vision board or meditating.

you could be surrounded by the one you love or at least get a message each morning reminding you that you are loved and deserve to be happy.

or you could have no one but still be so freaking content and happy. so you play one of your many playlists on Alexa while you put on your coffee and open all your blinds exposing yourself to the world but not having a single care. maybe some yoga to get things moving.

then again, you could be one of the loony people who actually get up from bed and right away, stretch and put on their running shoes before heading outside to get their miles in. ikr…

however you start your day, I hope you remember that there’s so much to offer in each day and we all get the same amount of seconds daily. but if you also choose to do nothing and just embrace the slow vibes, that’s perfectly cool too.

Is it just me or does the day after your birthday always feel weird?

• Go into the lab to prepare samples
• Read through the abstracts of the remaining papers
• Filter out important papers
• Read through those and take notes
• Research microbes in Martian analogues

Long list but the things I didn’t get done today are left for tomorrow… We’ll see how it goes but I hope there’s going to be enough progress. Really need to get working on the experimental design.
