If I were to do a written giveaway - possibly crossover, possibly just your OCs, and possibly with one gif, we’ll see what happens - would people be interested?
It’s been an age since I did one, and I’ve been wanting to do more writing for here but never sure where to start.
So here for all Shadow and Bone OCs - so if you have one, I’m so excited to hear all about them.
(And all OCs, but they have my heart at the moment. Casually half always thinking about my ones... And Fox, but that’s a given).
So, I’ve changed how my queue will run again. I’ll be reblogging less posts a day (if you post anything about OCs, please tag me as I’m going through things I’m tagged in and reblogging fandoms I’m a part of/things that catch my attention, but I am looking at everything I’m tagged in).
Sundays between 16:00 and 22:30 (GMT) I’ll be reblogging things for my OCs; I’m not making as many gif things at the moment, so they will mostly be drabbles [I think gifs were the main reason it took me so long to post drabbles].
Weekly questions will be posted at 23:00 (GMT) Sundays.

If I haven’t told you recently, I adore your OCs. They’re so special, and they breathe a life into the stories you’re telling that is incredible.
Sorry, just needed to get some things off my chest. Will probably delete this in a little while.
Writing has always been a place for me to escape to. It’s been a way for me to filter the ideas that my imagination comes up with and put them down into words; a way for me to go back to the stories and the characters that mean a lot to me despite how I never realised that they were important to me until they forced me to get their stories down in more than just fragments.
And yet, despite having felt last week like I could be proud of my writing, I look at stories now and wonder why I bothered. The characters seem flat, the descriptions unimportant and the stories they live in feel empty. I feel like I’m not able to do them justice, that the excitement I had for them has gone to leave a hollow gap in their place. I know that I still love them, that I should be proud to have got a draft written because that’s the hardest part, but right now I just... I can’t. Editing makes me want to delete it all, to burn the papers drafts are written on and find something else to do with my time. And yet I can’t. Even when I feel like a failure with their stories, I still owe it to them not to give up. Not to throw away the time they’ve had.
The mood will pass, and I’ll feel love for the writing again at some point. But right now all I can do is question.
I hate self-doubt, but today it has come back with fighting spirit all because I was determined to edit something and hate every moment of it.

I write: daily | most days | a few times a week | a few times a month | random (or try to)
I write most often: when I first get up | later in the morning | afternoon | evening | the wee hours of the night | whenever
In one sitting, I tend to write: a few sentences at a time | a few hundred words | a few thousand words | a complete chapter/section no matter how long | whatever comes *
I tend to write scenes: in chronological order with no skipping | mostly in order but with some filler/skipping | whatever scene I feel like | who knows what’s gonna come out???? *
I tend to write: on a phone | on a laptop | in a notebook | on whatever paper I can find | with speech to text | in the blood of my enemies | it doesn’t really matter to me | on paper first and then typed up | old school typewriter
When I take a break from writing, it usually lasts: a few days | a few weeks | a few months | it’s kind of random
My favourite thing to do when I’m on a writing break is: recharge with other creative hobbies | read/ consume other media | do something physical | catch up with old friends | work on my WIP in other ways like with playlists or art | other **
In general, I think my writing habits are: pretty much what I need them to be | okay, but I’m working on making them better | non-existent | not great :/ | i’m excited to develop them further | totally random | perfect for me :D
* I try for chronological order with full stories - and for a chapter at a time - but who knows with drabbles and bits.
** Writing breaks for me tend to end up with me reading a bunch of other things, or watching TV.

Bad day for no real reason so going to try sorting out some more drabbles and maybe think up some OC questions to post because I missed them and schedule for the rest of this month.

Casually popping by to sort out my queue a little while also being deeply in love with the Grishaverse. I really need to squeal about Rule of Wolves and get too excited for Shadow and Bone the series.
Am I now probably thinking of my Grishaverse OCs? They can fight Fox and co. for my attention at the minute.

The Bell Watcher's Daughter
Battling between wanting to write, wanting to make things and having no motivation to do either. So apparently instead I’m using my time here to fill up the queue and feel guilty about not doing it sooner and about not having questions for this month.
Currently thinking about my Grishaverse OCs, Fox and co. (though let’s be honest that’s a given), also wanting to do a bunch of things for my original characters and introduce some new OCs for Fate: The Winx Saga (because I never saw the cartoon so I went into that show knowing nothing).
Going back to being quiet and then signing out.
So, I had hoped that taking a break would help me remember why I started writing. Focusing on my own things would help with inspiring me once more. However, that’s been far from the case. It turns out I’ve been less inspired to create because I wonder what the point is. I don’t think it’s a lack of interaction with things, because before I started sharing work I was fine. I managed to always have a reason to write, a desire for it because otherwise it felt like these things would tumble out in a terrible jumble and it’d be horrible.
I’m going to try to top up the queue with others’ posts, and reblog some of the things that I’ve worked on while ‘away’ from this blog, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to make any questions for this month (still seeing if I can work up the enthusiasm to think of something for them).
I had hoped to write something eloquent here, something that was better than this, but I needed to stop by and let you know this - because disappearing silently apparently isn’t something I can do.
Anyway, I hope you’re all well, all creating, and staying safe in these strange, strange times.
So yknow how there's been a lot (and I mean A LOT) of talks and theories about the new my hero academia movie poster and the meaning?
Example: Todoroki is holding his hands like Dabi does, Deku is doing the Shigaraki pose but slightly down but Bakugou's doing the Kiri pose so that obviously means Kiri is the traitor.
In my opinion, Kiri's too wholesome to betray them all but that's just my opinion.
So I have another theory:
What if their poses are symbolising things they need to overcome?
For example, Todoroki's holding up the Dabi hands to symbolise him emotionally overcoming being related to a villain or finally getting help dealing with the trauma that came with both that and his childhood abuse.
And Deku doing the Shigaraki pose is kinda self-explanatory here.
Now for Bakugou doing Kiri's pose it could be multiple things:
Him finally overcoming his "not wanting friends" persona and finally accepting Kiri as his BFF (or something like that).
Could be just complete Kiribaku coming to life (finally) and him overcoming either internalized homophobia or just overcoming his entire ego and confessing.
It could also be other things but my hands hurt from typing.
Judge this however you want, I might add more to it later so yeah.
