Honestly, fuck the Daily Mail for this. They made Harry out to be a cheater based on one line in a song that very well may not be about Camille. All these dumbass writers are really assuming every single song is about her when he hasn’t said that and not every song makes sense for her. (My favorite was Miss Vogue stating Golden was about her cause she has golden hair.) He never claimed this whole album is about her. Don’t look any further if you don’t want spoilers.
What sucks most is we know in a “Camille song” (maybe Cherry) Harry says something along the lines of, “you can’t blame me darling, not even a little bit, I was away.” This line states he doesn’t feel to blame for her leaving him for that Greek billionaire, Theo, cause he was on tour. And yes. That’s the official story, by the way. Her voice at the end of the Cherry, which Zane Lowe clearly stated was about Harry being left for another man, says she is sorry. She left him for someone else. Why would she say she is sorry if Harry cheated? But now Daily Mail is saying Harry cheated based on a line from Falling, which Harry never said was about her: I’m in my bed and you’re not here. And there’s no one to blame but the drink and my wandering hands.
Ok. How can “you can’t blame me, not even a little bit” and “no one to blame but me” be about the same damn situation or person? Those are absolute opposites. But Daily Mail, which, sadly, too many people read and believe, has just taken one line that we don’t understand in relation to Harry’s life and created and entire narrative and reason for Harry and Camille’s break up out of it. Based on nothing. Based on about 100 assumptions. Harry has never even confirmed with his own mouth or words that she is his ex-girlfriend. I’m just mad cause this is the spreading of a rumor that could hurt Harry a week before his release. And also, I’m guessing there is a good chance it’s bullshit and Falling isn’t about her.
This was submitted anonymously so I just wanted to add I think we should be careful listening to Perez Hilton especially, also if this was true, wouldn’t someone have taken pictures?
Also keep in mind, Demi just posted on her story “don’t believe any rumors..”
