No, it was because Goliath humiliated God. David’s love for God was beautiful, such love gave him courage and faith. Love is the root of courage, love has no fear.

Wise men still seek HIM. We have all desires in our hearts. Desires that we seek to gratify ourselves. There are men that will seek for the temporary things, some will seek for money and riches, some will seek worldly power, some will seek for populartiy and fame, some will seek for worldly love, some will seek for the materials things they want, and some will seek for the things that may the world can and will offer, but wise men will seek Him. Yes, wise men still seek HIM.
In HIM more than money and riches, there is abundance.(see Luke 6:38)
In HIM more than popularity and fame, there is favor.(see Psalms 90:17)
In HIM more than worldly love, there is greatest love.(see John 15:13)
In HIM more than the worldly promise, there is an heavenly promised.(see 2 Peter 1:4)
In HIM more than worldly power, there is divine power.(see 2 Peter 1:3)
In HIM more than temporary, there is eternity.(see John 3:16)
Don’t seek what you may loose at the end, but seek what may last for eternal. Seek Jesus! Seek His Kingdom! He is everything that we need, the author and finisher of our faith.(see Hebrews 12:2)

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
