I can finally say she's done!

I like both skirts, and she has two headbands to choose from, so she's gonna have options when we're at disneyland.

I'm so happy with how she came together!

threading  with  sansa  reminded  me  of  the  final  season  of  game  of  thrones,  a  season  that  ---  for  the  most  part  ---  doesn’t  exist  to  me.  but  one  of  the  things  i  feel  the  need  to  point  out  is  how     dany  was  not  herself.     from  the  time  she  arrived  in  winterfell,  you  could  tell  something  was  off.  her  face  was  anything  but  the  dany  we  were  used  to  seeing;  brave,  possibly  overconfident.  i  think  she  always  had  this  feeling  in  the  back  of  her  mind  that  she  wasn’t  going  to  fit  in.  and  she  didn’t  need  jon’s  stories  about  the  north  to  deduce  that  either.  the  world  was  not  at  all  how  viserys  hoped  it  would  be  for  them  and  the  more  shit  dany  was  put  through,  the  more  she  came  to  realize  that  viserys’  hopes  and  dreams  were  just  that:  wishful  thinking.

but  with  all  that  said,  i  think  daenerys  was  just  nervous  ---  incredibly  so.  in  the  opening  scene,  a  look  of  relief  washes  over  her  as  her  dragons  fly  overhead.  even  with  jon,  she  still  feels  like  she  has  nobody  but  her  fire  breathing  babies.  because  of  this,  nervousness  and  uncertainty  translated  into  ‘fake’  when  that  wasn’t  her  intention  at  all.  she  came  off  as  incredibly  fake  and  ingenuine,  but  with  very  little  backup  from  jon  (  because  it  became  obvious  early  on  that  he  either  didn’t  trust  her  /  support  her  /  want  to  bend  the  knee  despite  sleeping  with  her ),  nothing  she  did  came  off  as  genuine  as  she  might  have  meant  it.

the  only  times  we  see  dany  not  trying  too  hard  is  behind  closed  doors  with  jorah.  he  knows  her  better  than  anyone  and  encourages  a  heart  of  forgiveness,  as  well  as  extending  an  olive  branch  towards  the  lady  of  the  house.     (  which  she  screws  up  very  much  by  coming  off  as  fake  )     i  do  think  there  was  plenty  of  insecurity  to  blame  too  and  it’s  hard  to  know  if  her  ‘feeling  threatened  by  sansa’  during  the  meetings  was  because  of  jon.  i’m  sure  dany  picked  up  that  sansa  didn’t  think  much  of  her  and  so  it  made  dany  very  defensive.  dany  knew  she  had  to  make  people  like  her,  or  at  least,  she     felt  it  was  necessary     if  she  wanted  their  help  to  take  down  cersei  but  it  all  spiraled  out  of  control  in  the  worst  of  ways.

i  completely  understand  sansa’s  willingness  to  make  a  power  play  for  the  northern  crown.  i  mean  she  earned  that  right  after  everything  she’s  been  through  but  in  general,  daenerys  did  not  deserve  half  of  that  treatment  from  the  northmen,  especially  after  the  long  night.  as  for  dany  going  mad,  i  will  never  support  the  narrative  of  a  man  not  fucking  her  being  the  reason  she  starts  a  downward spiral.  i  do  think  losing  both  jorah  and  missandei  could  have  caused  her  to  retaliate  out  of  grief,  but  dany’s  lost  so  much  already,  including  a  child.  if  THAT  didn’t  send  her  spiraling,  losing  another  boyfriend  and  two  friends  wasn’t  going  to  do  it  either.  and  IDGAF  what  GRRM  puts  in  a  dream  of  spring.  

last  note:  dany  made  them  take  down  every  slave  displayed  on  her  way  to  Meereen.  a  woman  who  cares  that  much  for  people  isn’t  going  to  just  change  her  heart  in  three  episodes.

Just a reminder that Game of Thrones was once good.
